Then don't make her think you are exclusively dating. Either tell her how it is - you want something casual where we can still see other people, or commit to dating her. It takes confidence to commit one way or another and you owe it to her to be honest. Don't use her as a means to an end because it's easy and convenient. The girl I'm committed to dating started as something casual. I had the discussion with her before anything happened... But we both realized we want to see each other exclusive…

I need to get better at getting women to invest in me. What tips do you have for this?

This worked really well for me the one time I tried it. She sent me her number and added me on facebook before I even logged off.

So it all starts when I'm in 10th grade in highschool. By this time I was a lonely mess starting to get out of his teenage years. My father was rather absent from my life from about when I was 10 years old and onwards, and it definitely took its toll on my development. No masculine presence to identify myself to in my teens. He used to involve me in several sports: not anymore, so I reverted to video games and reading, and preferred those activities to chilling with friends. I'd fall for girls r…

As a Chemical Engineer, I will be stealing that line.

If you are in high school or college a fun date is minigolf (or bowling, but I prefer minigolf). I like it because we can have a constant dialog (mostly banter back and forth). I have lots of opportunity to touch her and kino - which can lead to lots of eye contact. Better yet, most girls don't know the technique of putting. I am by no means a good golfer, but I took lessons a couple of years ago and can teach them how to be better at it (and it requires a lot of kino to teach them how to hold t…

It may have more to do with your first dates than your text game. What is an example of a first date?

Most people on this subreddit would advise you to drink enough to make sure you aren't the creepy sober guy hitting on (and trying to take advantage of) the drunk girls. But, not enough to actually impair yourself. You come across as more confident when you are not impaired and it helps you be aware of things. I've never had success drinking and gaming. My most successful nights have been when I was DDing or only drinking ~3 drinks the whole night. Also assume attraction. Especially if a girl gr…

Most of my friends have treated me very differently (in a good way) since I started doing these things. There is still one girl that I hang out with a lot that keeps trying to belittle me and walk over me. I generally blow her off, but she keeps moving the other girls away from me when we are talking and they are clearly much more interested in me than they were before. I can tell that she is very insecure about herself though, and I feel like that is the reason why. I will confront her about it…

As someone who started as a 20 year old virgin when I read this subreddit I felt very much the same as you. I took some advice from here and mostly tried to figure out what I was doing wrong (I don't do everything this subreddit encourages yet) and I have noticed a dramatic difference in the way women treat me and am now basically picking the girls I want to date. So what's changed? I approach people more often. I use Kino - which I didn't use before. I make the girls qualify and I use body lang…

This doesn't directly address your question, and I'm not nearly as good as the people on this subreddit claim to be. But I assume you are in college. One thing that I did today to talk to a new girl was I bought lunch at one of the big on campus options and I looked for a table for someone that was clearly alone and was open to conversation (not on their laptop or headphones basically). So I found a girl and without hesitation asked if she cared if I sat there (it's good for both of you because …

That's some solid advice. Im not so much trying to pick up girls as I am trying to really start dating a lot - which is why Im focusing on #-closes. I used to not have much of a problem when my classes had more women in them - I could usually get something going in one of my labs or large lectures with someone. But as I said, this year Im basically taking a bunch of engineering classes.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
