I'm only 29 but I take a test booster because I want to be full throttle all the time and I don't think I always had a ton to begin with. I have more focus, stamina, faster workout recovery. I'm also more aggressive for sure, but not in a bad way, just, aggressive..

Nope, pretty sure it was this one right here. There are pricier ones but from what I can tell this one is just fine for me, plenty roomy and quite sturdy. I'm 6'2" probably 195-205# and I can stretch out or bounce it around a fair bit https://www.amazon.com/Best-Choice-Products-Portable-Carrying/dp/B00LOZNXRC/ref=sr_1_4?s=lawn-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1508085111&sr=1-4&keywords=hammock+with+stand

it was like 60$ usd for the whole deal, stand and all, shipped to my door, took about 3 minutes to set up. it's fantastic man. i personally don't like the nesting instinct and want as minimal and lightweight of a footprint as possible - particularly in regards to furniture. It's very relaxing and comfortable. It almost seems like one of those ab ball things if you want to sit upright on it, no backrest and all. But yeah you can get a good one for not much money.

Did 4 years of tkd, boxing, wing chun, kick boxing every day. I miss it. I also did capoeira for a while, but got out of it as the fees were pretty high. I was always pretty aggressive in sparring and fought spider monkey guys who were 10-20 years older than me when I was 18 and gave them a run for their money. I thought about doing a ufc type path but don't like the idea of my brain being bounced around in my head, or getting cauliflower ears. I really miss working on the wing chun dummy and he…

Atta boy - glad to hear you are ambitious and smart at that age. I'm nearly 30 but I will say I think the best is always yet to come. That's the nice thing is that men grow and fill in our boots as we age. Old men are some of my favorite people to talk to - always more honest, funny, practical, and industrious. Good on you for cutting out the booze and tobacco, I've done that as well, it's a waste of time, money, and health really.

I can relate, somewhat. This is why I'm a loner by choice. I don't want to be in any clubs or anything because I'm not a follower by nature and see it as a passive way of going through my life. I am assertive, and self directed. People don't often want to do the kinds of things I want to do, or if they do, they make it complicated with elaborate timelines and conditions. Say for instance the trip I took years ago, I rode my bicycle through 2 states in the USA, alone. There's no one I know of tha…

Sure they have, and so what? People have walked up to random cops and shot them just for wearing a uniform. Some guys go in hotels and shoot up concerts full of people. Evil exists. Being a cop is just a far more scrutinized role where the misdeeds of average people are brought to the front. I'm sure when that dude in vegas lit up 500 people, everyone was there thinking about how the situation was about to get so much worse because those evil pesky cops were going to show up and carry them to ho…

they aren't policy makers, so there's not much reason to hold someone accountable for doing the literal description of their job - enforcing the law. you want to blame someone blame politicians and lawmakers, where it starts. cops are just low level officials. if the law said to give men an ice cream cone and a pat on the head they'd do it. they're just doing a job, warts and all. by and large they usually do more good than harm.

where, broadly speaking, do you live? USA? I've had a lot of close calls but no contact as yet. a few of the classics - turn left in front of me at the last second, tailgate me super close at high speed on the highway, things like that. hence, the ball bearings. maybe even some wrenches i don't need anymore will work.

1 Corinthians 7:32 32 But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord: 33 But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife. I like your positive outlook, and hope for this as well. But, most times, single fellas are on their own as people pair off - only wanting to reconnect after the inevitable crash and burn of the relationship. Lots of guys shame men who really enjoy each others company - I've had people do this to me when I would laugh a ton with a buddy, guys would make fun of us from a distance, probably cracking jokes about being gay, whatever. It's kind of pathetic and sad really how men subconsciously try to…

LOL. fair enough. well i'm not here trying to slam fellas who use porn (lord knows I've seen PLENTY of it myself, and I've been cutting it out as I've gotten older) or prostitutes. I just think it's something worth discussing as it seems to be such a casual, simple alternative. I think it could be argued though that with something as intense as sex, nothing is ever as simple or casual as it may seem.

it's no problem i guess I'm just surprised by the frequency of it - had no idea in this, relatively small community seemingly filled with tons of lurkers, that so many people that post also advocate prostitutes. i figured it was a minority of men, maybe it really is, just over represented here, or something.

whatever words you want to use, the concept is the same. a fat man doesn't stare at ice cream advertisements if he wants to get skinnier. an alcoholic doesn't go to a bar. a lazy man doesn't buy a couch. maybe some men are just used to having sex like it's an appetite. i personally have lived all but 4 of my 29 years without any sex or meaningful physical interactions with women, so maybe it's just my more natural state being that i'm not chad, or hans blitzkriegschnitzel, or chad-lite, or thadd…

See and this just about cuts to the heart so well. I mean we've often seen that joke, heck that poster earlier even said it - interactions with prostitutes are "honest" - sex for money. Instead of "relationships" and dating, or courting, or whatever you call it - where the exchange is still implied, men want sex, she wants resources, protection, status, whatever. So prostitutes are still part of the bullshit. They aren't any better, just a different form of dealing with the same urges that contr…

I've enjoyed my 955 a ton. Also got it for the upright riding position as well. Has some highway pegs out front which add some nice variety in seating. It was blueprinted at the factory 10k miles ago, has around 55k overall on the bike. They tossed in a custom ground cam, had it dyno tuned pushing 130-140hp to the rear, factory racing exhaust, stainless headers, whole bunch of little goodies all over it, scott e-oiler (very, very worthwhile accessory, auto lubes your chain). I think a lot of people see what's happening - but by the nature of that coined idea, the blue pill red pill deal, people are making a choice, maybe not even on a conscious level (I firmly believe a large amount of people are not conscious most of their lives, they are incapable of introspection, self awareness, or reflection due to a variety of factors.) Men choose to ignore red flags, at their peril. They rationalize and justify bad behavior. They say, oh fights are normal in every relationshi…

Balderdash - I love it. The most repulsive aspect of observing the body language and overall behavior of men in marriages and relationships is how utterly cowed they are. I do not have a follower mentality, and cannot deal with weakness in others. I enjoy doing things that test my resolve, my self reliance, m…

It's awkward because you make it so. What's an "explanation" to you? Why do your answers require qualification? You're not in high school explaining your thinking on a math test because you know you have the wrong answers, and showing your thinking might get you half a point. Part of being an adult is pissing on peoples boots. You're gonna piss people off, not everyone is gonna like you. And so what?
/r/MGTOW08/09/17 09:55 PM
2

what should you say? just say congrats and that you aren't going. don't make excuses, don't justify it, don't explain it away, and don't lie. If your friend can't accept a healthy NO, without explanation - he's more woman than man. I accept things at face value, there are certain lines of questioning I don't cross with people. I don't cross examine their thinking and piss all over their thought process, I respect their answers and replies, and move on.

I know I sure as shit wouldn't feel ashamed to take it in a society that happily strips a third of my income for life to piss it away on bullshit. But, I'd much rather work for it - I like being creative, building things. Sense of satisfaction, all that.

calm down OP. it's not the end of the world, not even your world. Relax, walk into jobs like you belong there, and get a job - if that's what you want. Just relax. If you are too sick to work, get disability income or stamps, housing assistance, etc. I've been homeless, broke, jobless, slept on benches, slept on endless couches, in cars. It happens. It'll put some gravel in your gut and some lead in your ass. You'll be fine.

Men are becoming androgynous. Skinny jeans, no muscles, no facial hair, dainty - effete metrosexuals. When a man can't even fucking smell the way he naturally smells without being shamed for it, he is living subordinate to others. Over time this conditioning is automatic. He'll simply shame himself, feel embarrassment and aversion. He'll become a self policing little bitch. Deodorant isn't some law of the universe. Aye, housing is a bunch of bullshit here I agree. 30 year mortgages? The fuck is that? How can it possibly take 30 years of your life to secure a place to live? This is why I've never wanted to buy a house, the whole market is a bunch of shite and feels like a scam.
/r/MGTOW30/08/17 01:16 AM

Yeah, the simplicity of smaller living is nice. I see how sprawled out a lot of people are, how much money they spend for what they later realize is pointless excess. I couldn't live in the houses I see people in, just all the bric-a-brac and clutter, the ENDLESS nesting instincts, buying crap, hording crap, then comes the garage sales. Yeah mobile homes keep you simple, hell I could see myself staying in this one for a while, just wish I had a garage really.

That's probably working for other people, yeah. The neat thing about trades is the ability to translate it into your own small business. I've met plenty of other trades guy that run their own company and make plenty of scrilla. Takes time, but the payoff in the end can be good. Electricians seem to make quite a bit of $. HVAC guys definitely can too.

yeah that and Germany is being cucked out of existence by a supplanting theocracy. Muslims will dominate Europe in 2-3 decades without a shot fired - just maybe a few vans rammed into crowds. not weird, completely understandable. i generally keep interactions with women as concise and plain as possible for mere expediency and simplicity. all they want to talk about is themselves, they have zero interest in anything unless, like a chameleon, it's suited to becoming closer to a chad or whatever. seen it too often. they have no core identity. if muslims conquered america they'd abandon all identity or convictions and praise allah on the spot.

ps4, because its a friggin ps4. hard to beat the performance per dollar you get out of one with a built pc - it can be done, but, meh, ps4 is decent performance for a few hundred bucks. downside is games cost way more than on pc, kind of a ripoff really...but, i check new games out from the library a lot, can play them for a few weeks or less if i don't end up liking them, saves me some coinage. i would rather have a badarse pc gaming rig, but, alas, muhney.

attorneys, like water, often follow the path of least resistance. this is a recurring theme - i have dealt with a few lawyers in my life, and I can say with confidence that they are not to be entirely trusted with pursuing your intentions or your motivations. trust, but verify. start working quietly to dismantle high value assets and lose them "in that boating accident on the fishing trip". then keep your mouth shut, even to your lawyer. keep your mouth shut. lots of lawyers are feminist leaning…

in my experience, intelligence is not the foundation of self realization. being tested, by real problems, real danger, real situations, that's getting to really. being spoiled means you never have to be resourceful. you might be resourceful anyway, but the sense of urgency and pressure will never be real.

the one who climbs Everest of his own determination, grit, and resolve, is a realized man with an iron will forged in the heart of adversity. the one who is flown to the top, is untested, unrealized, a husk of a man. do not envy people who are spoiled - pity them. they don't understand that they are the ones who are losing out. is water not more refreshing when you're dying of thirst? is food not better when you are starving? is sleep not more peaceful than after a hard day of work?

well, it's pretty accurate really. airtight, i'd say. i went to a buddys late model dirt track race recently - funny seeing the women there. they could give a shit about the car or racing, they just want to be seen where men are doing something they enjoy. thirsty for attention, they wonder if they have more sway over a man than a badass racecar.

whatever. people reap what they sow. there's no lasting improvement in your life that doesn't come from tenacity, loyalty, patience, wisdom, honesty - actual good virtues. enjoying things you don't earn don't taste as sweet. a hard fought victory in the morning tastes better than 1000 lifetimes of leisure and ease.

I have a very similar story, but it was only about 4 years wasted... still, it stings. I'm 29 now, woke up around 24 and am finally getting to a solid position in life, good savings, good job, side business, makin friends, toys/hobbies. But, not to worry OP - you dodged a bullet, 26 is still very young, just bust your ass now for what you want and it'll happen. Plenty of people never wake up and they "waste" a lifetime really, and there's no recovering from it.

I dunno, I think Colorado is cool from a point of view of an outdoor enthusiast, which I fully am. I think if you're used to being warm all the time in Cali and you move to Colorado you might rethink that in decision in the dead cold of winter, especially at altitude. But, at least you can snowboard or whatever, whereas the rest of the midwest it just sucks unless you have a snowmobile or you ice skate/hockey or whatevs. I honestly don't know a ton about Colorado - I sure as hell love hiking the…

i wouldnt call it a problem if its not negatively affecting your ability to function and enjoy life? im not ever in compromised situations due to alcohol and i have a few beers every night, at home, before i go to bed. what is there to compromise? i work out, drink a bit, relax, sleep, and go to work feeling great. im not sure your black and white assessment of drinking is really all that convincing. plenty of people, probably the vast majority of folks older than 30, can enjoy booze quite often…

Funny how I've seen this before, paranoid people at work. You spend more time with people at work than your own family, yet want to treat them like total strangers, makes zero sense to me. I have loads of friends at my job, that I do stuff with outside of work, we are more or less like a big family. Makes life a lot more enjoyable when you are laughing while you bust ass all day rather than being some closed off paranoid stiff.

My dad always spouts this crap - he fervently clings to his NAWALT belief, particularly church going women. He pities me, which I find hilarious - because I pity him, he married a single mom after my mom divorced him (her husband died of cancer though, not her fault) and her kids don't respect or acknowledge him in anyway. He is simply an ornament. It sucks because in many ways I can't see eye to eye with him now, because he lives his life like a mouse and I live it like a lion.

Depends what you want. I personally think gyms are a massive waste of money, 99% of the people that have memberships could do what they do anywhere else - i.e. treadmills, stairmasters, and other hamster wheels. For the novelty stuff - pools, basketball courts, whatevs, there is usually a cheaper, equally good municipal option nearby rather than an expensive, pain in the butt gym. I loathe gyms. Now, I say all this because being healthy to me =/= gym membership, I personally find it a waste of m…

My ex called me cheap once. Well, I might be thrifty and industrious, which has worked for me - she was always blowing money on shoes and clothes, and had nothing in the bank. There's a reason I have plenty of $ saved, and all my vehicles are used and in pretty good working order. Hell I scored a nice craftsman old USA made craftsman toolbox socket set in those indestructible plastic cases the other day from a business contact, complete, with 3 sizes of drivers (1/4, 3/8, 1/2), for 20$ - practic…

So many comments here seem so paranoid and cynical. I live in small town America, in the heartland. Your coworkers are your family out here, you rely on each other, trust each other. If you aren't joking around while you work and shooting the breeze every so often, you are missing out on connections that can help you accomplish more, be more valued to the company by being a key player, learn things and get advice from old salts. The physical aspect is just a way to discipline the mental. They aren't mutually exclusive. A man who has mastered his body did so through intense introspection, long suffering, and a massive coordinated effort. I would say men who have never pushed their limits do not possess the same kind of confidence that men who've been to the edge do, and I'd say all the placebo confidence in it's place will never compensate for that. The US has a dark, seedy underbelly that many people have walled off from their minds very thoroughly. Male suicide and male homelessness are long standing institutions of the USA - the richest nation on the planet. We spend more money on worthless baby mammas that contribute nothing than on men who need a leg up, an apprenticeship, a pep talk, a hot shower and a sandwich. Or maybe they just need money spent to make them even VISIBLE as an issue, since everyone just puts the onus on the individu…
