To be fair that probably happens in a great amount of cases of would-be/borderline/actual sexism at work. You just never hear about it.

I thought it was appropriate because: She's breaking the law She did this before and usually gets away with it Any man who'd pull this off would get arrested within 10 minutes This time she was treated equally for once in her life In short, she's usually able to avoid repercussions due to the fact she's an attractive woman, but was denied this luxury for once. Isn't that exactly what a PPD is?

In Basel (Switzerland) she was able to "perform" without problems. The French are apparently not so forgiving. I don't mind naked women, but I can't help but wonder what would happen if I started waving my schlong around the pedestrian area of a city and invite people to takes selfies with me.

I didn't know there ware various types. What is the worst type of male circumcision?
/r/MensRights01/01/14 06:30 PM

Sorry, what's the problem with circumcision in boys? AFAIK with girls they cut the clitoris which is fucking outrageous but boys just loose the foreskin, which I think has medical advantages. I'm not arguing for or against it, I just wonder how you could possibly equate the two things?

Better check if the boy is really his, too. If I understand correctly it's the result of an office affair. I once had an office affair. I was madly in love too. Years later I learned that she had half the office banging her back then.
/r/MensRights01/01/14 09:11 AM
3

Gotta agree with you there. I find this problematic as well. It's not exclusive to girls but I believe the problem has more effect there as women are more preoccupied with their beauty. It just sets false expectations in the heads of both men and women, about how perfect a woman has to look in order to be considered beautiful.

Well, if they're having a debate at the debate club, then he at least can make an impression on the audience? Same with arguments on Reddit with trolls or otherwise ignorant people. Maybe you won't convince them, but maybe you will give a good viewpoint to someone else who's reading the argument.

Well, some people would see it as a problem that an ex-girlfriend can ruin your life by making a false rape accusation. And it was in Europe. So saying that We just do not have this issue in Europe. Is not entirely true. Although it depends if you're strictly looking at what happens at universities. The Kachelmann case had nothing to do with that, that's true.

Oh, really? What about Jörg Kachelmann then? He was a TV presenter in Germany and got his life completely destroyed by rape claim, of which he was acquitted: In March 2010, Kachelmann was arrested at Frankfurt airport in Germany after an ex-girlfriend accused him of raping her [10] following an argument in the previous month.[11] After a trial lasting almost nine months, Kachelmann was acquitted on May 31, 2011 Wikipedia

Imagine some Sex and the City movie being more expensive for women than for men. Oh god.. Yet this is exactly what we are talking about, in a slightly different context and with genders reversed. :-/ Edit: Oh boy, I didn't realize it was you! I'm already curious how you're going to twist this around and explain how it is really not the same, but COMPLETELY different! ;-)

This is simple supply and demand economics. It is. But it is also discrimination by sex, which our society has mostly agreed, is not a thing we want. Just because it makes economical sense doesn't mean it should be automatically okay to do. There's always ethics and morals. "Economics" is not the only measure. In fact, economics and ethics often conflict each other directly.

100% of your arguments can be used to justify outlawing abortion as well. Is that your intent? How? No it's not my intent of course. But it's a difference between letting women abort and compel or almost force them to do it. you are assuming there is no emotional considerations for a man who is giving up his rights and responsibilities as a father. I'm not saying there are no emotional implications for men, but I'm pretty sure that an abortion is not the same for men and women. That's one of the…

They both consented to having sex, but in this scenario, only she consented to parenthood. Well, they both knew that when having sex there is a possibility of her becoming pregnant. Accepting this risk is part of consenting to sex, so in a way, yes he did consent to possible parenthood. The problem I have with your logic is that you're separating this out as if it were a "free" choice for the woman to not have her child (either aborting or giving away). The fact is though that once she is pregna…

Yeah see, that doesn't convince me at all. We're not talking about some luxury item she can't afford anymore. You make it sound like she has to give up driving Porsche or whatever. No, we're talking about her being forced to either a) abort her child, b) give it away or c) pay for it alone. All while we men, who are equally responsible for having her pregnant in the first place, get off by saying "I don't want it, you deal with this, not my problem". No man, this ain't fair. Once the damage is d…

I'm not sure about this. I know men are generally screwed over in divorces and child support cases and it needs to change dramatically, but in this case I might agree that if you made a child, you will have to take responsibility even if you wanted an abortion. I mean the rule you're proposing would force the woman to either have an abortion or pay for the child herself (which maybe she can't?). That's not really fair either in my opinion. After all having an abortion can be quite traumatic for …

Because of what? I figure if you gonna do that you'll consult a lawyer to set it up properly. Not just draft some stuff up yourself :)
/r/MensRights04/11/13 06:09 PM

Why aren't men doing this then? You hear so much about nasty divorces where men loose out big time, and divorce rate is so high, how could any man in his right mind enter a marriage without this sort of thing?
/r/MensRights04/11/13 01:44 PM

Question: Is it possible for men to prevent this kind of shit from happening by including some clause in the marriage contract?

13 . Put the Cookie Jar Away and Only Break Out in Case of Emergency. At long last, it’s time to cut of the sex. Only have sex when you feel like it. (1-2 times per month) Easy to counter: Masturbate! In front of her. When she refuses sex in order to control you, show her that you can satisfy your needs without her and that Compliance = Sex doesn't work on you. Watch porn if you feel like it. This is what I'm actually interested in, the legal side. "I do it because I can" is not at all a good justification for wrongdoing. In fact that's exactly what laws are made for, to prevent rule of force, and to protect the weak. The thief will steal, but he better not get caught at it, or he will face consequences. On the other hand, those bars/clubs are doing this in broad daylight, and it would be easy to prove and prosecute, if there is a legal basis. I'd love to get a lawyers opinion on thi…

Yeah it's obvious why they do it. A club full of girls is way more attractive, a lot of guys will come and spend money (guys drink more than girls). It's not only about paying drinks for girls, it's about being there and spending money in general. So this: The best way to stop this kind of discrimination is to stop buying things for women you like Might help a bit, but not really. You're still gonna go to the club with the most (hot) girls and buy your own drinks there. Except of course we refus…

I understand the business reason behind it. If it has more girls it will be much more attractive. Imagine a club that has 40 dudes and two girls, it's a sausage fest.. That still doesn't make it any less a discrimination

Well, given that their mother is a lying piece of shit that will willingly destroy another persons life for her own benefit, 18 months might not be enough. The longer they are away from that horrible person, the less time she will have to teach them how to behave that way. Yes I know it's hard to grow up without a mother, but what is worse: having no mother, or having one that teaches you (unconsciously) that this kind of attitude and behavior is okay?

That's why I submitted it here. I've never felt so much rage regarding this kind of stuff. The real outrage here is, that she probably still has the upper hand as far as custody goes, just because shes the woman. She used her son for her games, possibly calculating that daddy is going to go crazy in front of the child, providing her with courtroom ammunition. She put her own selfish objectives above her child's safety and mental well being. Just pure fucking evil.

Judging by my girlfriend who puts in insane amount of hours for mediocre salary (she used to work for Ernst & Young before), but would never think of asking leave alone demanding a raise, or compensation for the overtime, I believe this to be accurate.
