Not looking to get into a back and forth here, just wanted to say that as guy who owns 2 Staffies most people simply shouldn't own dogs. Pit bulls get their rep due to complete numptys who don't know how to train them and, admittedly, due to the fact they are capable of causing more damage. I know both men and wahmen who own various breeds and have little to no control over their animal. I've found Labradors to be the worst, been bitten by them multiple times.

No. I was extremely well liked by her family and during our break up she effectively had a mental breakdown. Threats of self harm, irrational and volatile, prescription meds...All stuff which I now see as attention seeking and an attempt to gain sympathy. Conceding as much as she did was her attempt to save face I feel.

Ha, yeah. One of the concessions made in order to keep all the other important stuff. Don't worry, it's a 4 figure sum for a relatively low amount. It's a pain each month but not something which could bankrupt me.

I believe I'm getting there now, slowly but surely. Focussing on friends and family...2 things which my partner phased out for me over time. I'm learning guitar which I've always wanted to do, working out like I used to and generally just doing my own thing. Thanks for your words man.

Yeah. I felt pretty crappy as its lowering myself to their level but I'd been listening to her spout crap for roughly an hour. 3 guys hung on her every word whilst I sat back an observed. I've done well in the divorce but I wasn't the bad guy. Even my ex's immediate family couldn't deny it and gave her quite a bit of shit for leaving me. I personally thank her for it...but I would never tell her that ;)

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
