If you want to touch her you should go ahead, while gauging her response to see if she’s ok with it. I don’t look for IOI’s unless there being shoved right in my face. I pay attention for signs of disinterest since they seem more clear. Most girls act neutral and don’t show any signs at all, if I were focused on IOI’s then I wouldn’t be able to escalate on these girls. You were right to try to kiss her , don’t ever regret it. The point of sexual escalating is to polarize to see if the girl is into you or not. She respected you for trying but wasn’t into it. If you hadn’t tried it, she would not of rejected you and you’d be wasting time trying to meet up again, or ending up in her friend zone like every other guy who didn’t try to kiss her.
