Fair enough, yea its basically my favorite move. Use it wisely though because it will seem cheesy as fuck if you try and use it on a girl who has already seen you do it.

Oh and I'd avoid teaching the waltz as it has a pretty serious marrital message behind it because its traditionally the first dance at a wedding.

I only know Foxtrot, Tango, Waltz, and the Jitterbug, it sounds like a lot but the basic steps are simple I promise, it's when you get in the fancy moves where it gets hard. My parents forced me to etiquette school once a week for a couple months and somehow I've made use of it.

I need to do some reading up on being more confident then. When I try it I always have trouble getting past the first little bit where they are mentally thinking to themselves "Why is this guy introducing himself" so I just say "hi" and then I make an excuse about having to do some random thing and leave to save face.

The move that helped me early on get my last two girlfriends applies so hard right here. This may require some youtubing, but still. Offer to teach any girl the basic steps of a couple types of ballroom dances. The foxtrot and tango are easy enough to learn, and on those types of nights (like a masquerade ball) girls feel like princesses in their dresses and makeup. Be very firm when you dance and compliment them, or if they mess up don't be afraid to make a casual joke. The most important thing…

How do I talk to girls at parties- specifically college ones? At my school they are always either talking in groups or dancing. I always just hang with my guy friends and we hit the dance floor, none of them are really interested in talking to girls very much. But as I am a crappy dancer, I sometimes find myself alone and looking for someone to talk to / flirt with. I don't have very many issues keeping the conversation going, my main issue is the first 45 seconds.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
