So true. I've had this happen in the past where I was doing great with a girl until I started getting somewhere with her, developed oneitis, and started acting like a little bitch, totally shooting myself in the foot.

It honestly seems unlikely that you could try all of those places and only be finding what you've basically described as "dumb sluts". Statistically that just doesn't make sense. Unless you live in the middle of nowhere. Maybe you should try and change up the types of girls you approach. Regardless, you should definitely be picky when you're looking for a girl for an LTR.
/r/seduction05/05/17 11:07 PM

Do you have any good resources to improve texting game? (Other than what's in the sidebar). I used to be of the "don't waste time texting" school of thought, but have had a few girls flake out recently, and have been trying to improve my texting game.
/r/seduction05/05/17 10:48 PM

What's "everywhere"? Where do you typically meet girls?

Step 3.5: Make sure it's at that weird porn angle pointed at your balls from behind.
/r/seduction05/05/17 05:25 PM

but there are no quality girls like her anywhere. That simply isn't true. You just aren't looking in the right places.
/r/seduction05/05/17 05:08 PM

It sounds like you're still caught up on your ex. To answer your question, I'm 30 and I still enjoy being single and smashing for the time being. Frankly, the work and maintenance of a relationship is just too much effort for me to want to deal with right now. I'm a bit selfish right now, and I'm ok with admitting that, and don't hide that fact from any of the women I date. I'm sure this will change at some point and I'll want to settle down, but for now I'm happy where I am. If your only reason…

If what you're saying is true, then I would say that this subreddit probably isn't the best place for him to be getting advice. Not at all because we don't want him here, but because pretty much all advice here revolves around the incredibly difficult process of self-evaluation and personal development and change. And self-acceptance is actually a part of this process. But I would argue that it's completely possible to accept yourself as a person, while still identifying characteristics and trai…

My group of friends, and even myself, did this kind of thing to each other in college. Not out of any malicious reason, we all just constantly ripped on and berated each other because we thought it was funny. Looking back, we probably took it too far and should have supported each other more, as we now do in our adulthood. We honestly were just immature, and didn't know the right way to treat each other. Regardless, I found that the best way to deal with someone going too far was to throw it rig…

How do you think they would respond if you tried to tell them not to try and fuck you over when trying to talk to women?
/r/seduction05/05/17 01:39 AM

First, please define a "nice guy".
/r/seduction05/05/17 01:12 AM

Shit man. It sounds like they want the girls too but are too afraid to make a move themselves, so they just want to see you fail. My only advice is to try and get away from these guys. Why do you even eat lunch with them?
/r/seduction05/05/17 01:11 AM

Yes.

/r/seduction05/05/17 12:29 AM

First and foremost, read all of the links in the sidebar of this subreddit. This will give you a good base and foundation of the knowledge here. And it should definitely give you enough to get started back on the dating scene again.

Are you on mobile? It's possible that you can't see it by default. Normally on a desktop browser it would be on the right hand side of the page right now. On mobile, at the top of the /r/seduction subreddit, click the small "About this community" link, and read every single thing there.
/r/seduction05/05/17 12:20 AM

Sooo... what's your actual question? Either you want to be exclusive with this girl, or you want to get out there and sow your oats. We can't answer that question for you. If you do truly want to get over this girl and get out there into the dating scene, then the answer is to stop talking to this girl so much, and start talking to other girls more. In all likelihood, this girl will not seem nearly as amazing or important once you've got others on your radar. I'm guessing that you're a bit rusty…
/r/seduction05/05/17 12:17 AM

I've banged girls at work before. One time it actually ended up in a pretty great year-long relationship with a smokeshow, and the other 2 times it blew up in my face and made my work life awkward and miserable for a while. Up to you! Yes you should ask her out. Start by reading the sidebar and come back when you have an actual question other than "guys how do I bang this girl I like?"

Cool, thanks. I'll try giving the fewer messages approach a shot, as I normally do pretty well, but have had a couple of girls flake out on me recently after relatively long chat sessions.

Number 4 is an important one...
/r/seduction04/05/17 11:00 PM

I suppose it can manifest that way. But more likely it just means that she is angry/frustrated with you. You're not giving a lot of information to go on, so no one here will be able to give a good answer to your question. What specifically makes you think that she's in love with you? I'm going to go out on a limb and say that if she's in a LTR, and anger/frustration are the primary emotions she's giving you, I would guess that you just have a crush on her, and are desperately trying to interpret…
/r/seduction04/05/17 10:41 PM

Genuine question, what's your flake rate like with that strategy? I.e. you flirt with a girl, get her number, try and set up a date, but either she stops responding or cancels.
/r/seduction04/05/17 06:44 PM

instead you guys are inferior than me If we're inferior then why are you asking us for advice? Are you autistic or something?
/r/seduction04/05/17 06:42 PM

Fair enough. Maybe I need to reevaluate my own texting practices. I usually have 50-100 messages before meeting up.
/r/seduction04/05/17 06:22 PM

What exactly is your question? "How do I find attractive women in a town where there are no attractive women?" You can't find what isn't there. Move on to greener pastures.
/r/seduction04/05/17 06:04 PM

I agree to an extent. Far too many guys want to text and chat for too long before making an actual move. But that's not always an option if you met her online in the first place. No girl is going to want to meet up with a random internet guy if she hasn't chatted with him enough to feel at least a little bit confident that he's not a serial killer.
/r/seduction04/05/17 05:56 PM

Honestly in some cases it might be a shit test, seeing if you'll take the bait and get excited that they're drunk and vulnerable. That could explain why you've had varied results. Maybe when a girls says it next time, respond back with "Oh good, I get to take advantage of you now!" or something similar. (This is my personal favorite way to deal with shit tests; over-exaggerate and turn it right back around on 'em) Even if it's not a shit test it's still a funny thing to say.
/r/seduction04/05/17 05:50 PM

Does it really matter exactly why they're saying it? Either way it's a good opening to tease her about it and escalate.
/r/seduction04/05/17 05:36 PM

I'm what most would consider a very handsome dude, tall, dress decent, etc. Great, but that doesn't mean you're attractive to women. Good looks are only a small part of female attraction. If anything, walking around with this attitude that they should be attracted to you only based on your looks is going to make you seem aloof and arrogant. Maybe they ARE actually initially attracted to you. But I guarantee that it's going to quickly fade when they realize that you can't hold a basic conversatio…

how do i deal with my depression? This isn't the place to be asking that, but it does seem like that's what you need to work on. I would suggest going to see a psychiatrist or therapist to get diagnosed first. guys i have my own unique piece of personality which is not common among you guys and hence i struggle that's the last thing i understand. Get out of the mindset of being a unique and special little snowflake who the rules of seduction don't apply to. These techniques are usable by everyon…

Stop wasting time with someone who rejected you 6 months ago and will barely even remember you. Find some new girls to text.

You clearly see her as more than a friend and are still caught up on her. As long as this is true, you'll never be able to move on, and will be miserable. The solution is to stop hanging out with her and find some new friends and girls to sleep with. Trust me, you're not the only guy who's gone through this.

Just spend a few hours reading through the sidebar here. There's a really good section on inner game that might help you. But if you want a book to help with your self esteem, honestly, just pick up a book on bodybuilding, or learn some other equally interesting and beneficial hobby. If your feeling of self-worth is shit, the best way to improve that is to make yourself better. This, in turn, will make you a more interesting person, which will help your dating life get better as well.

YOU have a chronic case of ONE-ITIS: One-Itis/Oneitis- This is when you have an unhealthy infatuation with a certain girl (usually the feeling isn’t mutual). Typically, this feeling turns you into a bumbling fool. It’s also usually accompanied by the fact that you’re too afraid to make a move on the girl, or have already tried and failed. The solution is to stop seeing this old girlfriend completely, and find some new women. You don't think so now, but there are EVEN BETTER girls out there. And …

I dunno if essentially professing his love to her is really the right way to go here... and if it is, this question should be in /r/relationships.

You have 2 options: Make a move in the very near future, and take either the success or the rejection that comes of it. Put yourself into the friendzone by doing things that a friend would do, such as giving her a shoulder to cry on, and not making a move on her. You will become the "safe" guy that she likes to flirt with but never hooks up with. I suggest option number 1.

Nice work. You should text her anyways just so you can have some practice flirting, even if nothing comes of it. What's your plan for your next number?

Ok so imagine that someone really wanted to go bungee jumping, and was standing at the edge of the cliff for the first time. But then they stopped because they were scared. Then they look at you, and ask you for advice on how to jump. What would you tell them? You'd probably say something like "Dude, just jump." If you know what to do and how to do it, then no one can give you any more advice. You just have to do it.

At 34, all of that same advice for the "younger guys" still applies to you. The entire sidebar in fact. I guarantee that whatever town/city you're in has plenty of cool bars with everyone 25+, working professionals. If bars aren't your thing, find some new people to go with and make them your thing. Literally just go out with some people and start approaching women you find attractive. You're in your 30's, you work out, and you have a good job. Women will want to date you. But only if you get ou…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
