Assuming it says “mutually agreed” providers or something of the sort, can he just not agree to anything? Or, will the court not look favorably on that?

Can au pairs do overnights? Ie, taking care of a toddler for 3 days straight while OP travels? I thought they’re limited by number of hours per day or something.

Yes. Your lawyer is correct…unfortunately. But, if you can trace, say, the initial capital to fund your company comes from pre-marital assets, then you could be able to show that current assets retain that characteristic. But, there are a lot of caveats — such as showing that you were properly compensated by the business during your marriage.

Why pay her off early? Maybe she gets married and your payments stop.

Seems like an odd thing for a judge to say at a pre-trial conference given they haven’t heard the case yet.

It’s such a beautiful open world to explore and my daughter just wanted to explore it. I didn’t want to give her my Arabian because she just rides it off the cliff, headbutts trees, or kicks the horse, so I gave her a Morgan. Let her pick the saddle, hair, etc. she loved that horse so much that she cried when I said she couldn’t play it anymore. Yes—I might have taught her how to skin a gator, but isn’t that a life skill she’ll need? :)

I was really impressed by that game—probably the most creative one we’ve played. Playing it with my daughter while I was in the middle of a looong trial had a lot of emotions. I’ve been wanting to try A Way Out with her, but the mother already bitched to the court that I gave her a horse in RDR2, so I’m wondering if it’s age appropriate.

I played through RDR2, which got me into gaming again. Then, I started doing coop platformers with my daughter like Sackboy, It Takes Two, Unraveled 2, etc. we’ve developed a bond through video games though the story for It Takes Two was tough.

You got this from going to trial in King County?

How long between the end of the trial and the judge’s ruling?

Who is OC? How old is the kid and what are you looking for out of the divorce agreement?

Taiwan divorce could be a pita if one person doesn’t agree. They’re still a “fault” divorce state, so one side can hold the other side hostage for as much and as long as they want. Can you apply for a Gold Card? It gives more flexibility than the work visas from employers.

Depends how much she is making too. WA is roughly 1500 for 1 child (I’m not sure how much 2 are), which is divided based on income. And, what I learned, is it’s an all or nothing type of deal. So, if you’re on the hook for, say, 1000 bucks, you’ll pay that whether you have 0% or 49%; likewise, you would get, say, 500 bucks if you have 51% or 100%. A 50/50 split for CS is tricky in WA. Usually, the high earner (in this example it would be you), would pay the full amount (eg 1000) unless you ask f…

I’m in WA as well. You can always argue these payments as predistributions of community property at trial (or mediation). I would pay to get the report done asap, so you have all the information you need to get at settlement.

And keep repeating step 5 because she’s trying to challenge the findings of 2.5, so her attorney keeps asking for continuances to buy time before they are forced acknowledge the PE report at step 6. Before you know it, 12 months has come and gone with no end in sight.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
