The older you get the lower your chance is. Id say 30 is still to early even. Id say its never really over as long as youre alive, but realistically by 40 you might wanna start making peace with things at that point.

How old are you? If youre under 30 its way too early to call it quits.

Mmmm id say its not nearly as binary. Its also kind of like how you can have a good girlfriend or a shitty girlfriend. Also, there are sbs who are genuinely attracted to their SD, and some others who are at least partly attracted to their sds. Theres a lot of subtleties that arent apparent at first glance too. In the "perfect" sugar relationship, for the guy, youre dating a hot girl half your age, who is exclusive with you, is actually attracted to you, fucks whenever you want, and puts on the p…

Ive had about 3 hours of voicecalls with an OF worker on VC in the PPD discord before. She was actually a mess. She was married too. She said her husband was okay with it cuz she didnt do meetups. She also had online SDs. It was her job essentially. From what I could gather she made maybe 2k a month from all of her sexwork stuff. She did get into a deep convo with us about how she was really suicidal after being raped and didnt get out of bed for months and how she does sex work in part for vali…

https://www.reddit.com/r/sugarlifestyleforum/comments/rpqfmz/sbs_dont_do_this_to_your_sd/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share Theres actually some heated debate in sugar circles for anyone whos never looked into it. Sometimes it reminds me of PPD. In this thread a man complains about his SB not putting out 2 weeks in a row. Like often, much of the sub automatically takes le whamen's side. And the sb/pro-whamen's wont take the reverse argument of equating it to an SD stiffing on allowance two…

I dont care about things on a macro level, I just want what I want on an individual level. The same way far more women women want a 6ft 100k+ etc guy than there are, and without having those things themselves.

So youre saying a woman does lose something by having sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/21 02:01 AM

Pussy isnt a finite resource. The woman doesnt lose anything by having sex. According to feminists and a lot of women anyways

Leading women on for sex is less bad because women have an ulimited amount of pussy, men dont have an unlimited amount of money. According to many feminists and women, women dont lose value by having sex. I do by definition lose value by losing money

Lol. It’s men telling each other to stop being so thirsty so women will stop being entitled. Women are just telling you how the market works, we don’t think there’s a snowballs chance in hell you’ll stop being so thirsty. Theyre giving out the advice as essentially a fuck you, which is what im doing as well. There’s nothing else to do in the world described where men get sex by date three or ghost. I guess you are right if someone doesn't feel confident they would rather lie to get what they want or chose someone their type over "dumpster diving". Its not about confidence, its about being realistic. You can be confident and still not get the women you want. Plus, lying is also easier. Obviously it's bad for everybody. It's making this chain. Only lying guy gets what he wants but then it leaves women with trust issues that makes it harder for normal guys to date women. On a macro level its …

I would offer the similar advice women give to men. Women tell men that its their own fault that women are so picky because men are so thirsty, and so men should stop being as thirsty. So id say similarly in this scenario id advise women as individuals to take a hit in the short term and reinforce their leverage by not putting out so soon, even if it makes them less desireable and a lot of guys might drop them, but after time women will be able to reassert their leverage. If this sounds too hard…

Why don't you just say you want to fvck and move on to the next girl ? Because theres a finite amount of women who are open to it, and most of those want it with attractive guys. So if youre a guy who doesnt fall into that category, logically its not going to really work to use that strategy. So, strategically it makes sense to lie. Especially when you consider that with relationship carrot game you can get a hotter woman than the dumpster diving youd have to do for casual. (Inb4 lying is "bad".…

Because women have more control to easy reject guys with no backlash and see them as just unhuman pictures on a screen instead of an actual human being. Not saying they cant do that IRL too, but its a lot easier IRL.

I agree not many people are free speech absolutists, and I agree there should be a line somewhere. I think that line shouldnt exclude offensive language and speech and speech that does not incite imminent violence though, which some would disagree with. Currently we are at a legal level that im more or less comfortable with, though on a nonlegal level, id like to see, which many leftists would otherwise agree with, less people being crushed under the boot of capitalism.

The liberal ideals, free speech/leftist economics paradox When I speak of free speech in the above context, I am not reffering to what is enshrined in the first amendment of the US constitution, I am reffering to the general concept which both predates and extends past the confines of what is inscribed in law. I do typically go for coffee dates, cuz its less pressure and more women would agree to it, because suggesting alchohol has kind of an implication behind it, but im thinking maybe it would be better to sacrifice quantity for quality, and take the loss on probably lukewarm girls for more interested girls, as agreeing to alchohol makes them more likely to be more interested.

I hate how anything that posits that women are inferior in any way is automatically discarded or blamed on sexism by SJWs. Anything that does that, to them, is inherently flawed. Its impossible to them that there can be any other conclusion then that it is the result of sexism or that it is false. The quintessential motivated reasoning.

/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/21 04:57 AM

Okay, thats irrelevant to how much of a role that plays in women's value. If you think its so important then why arent you fine with saying "yup most of women's value is sex/reproduction".
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/21 03:13 AM

Okay. Youre just using semantic acrobatics because you dont want to admit women's value is largly tied to sex/reproduction.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/21 03:06 AM

Women claim that their worth isnt derived from pussy/baby. So im bringing that into question. Men dont make the analgous of your argument. But if you wanna make an argument say of men's strength and how much their worth is tied into that, then itd make sense.

So which stats indicate the 70s were worse than today? But yeah, im not saying the world is gunna end, I do think it can get way worse tho. Edit to your edit: 94 to 88 isnt crazy different, but when 94 is during a very tumultuous time, being even beneath that is pretty telling.

I was gunna say nothing. But then I realised, under feminism more women are open to being "liberated" and "empowered" enough to be sugarbabies, and with that makes it easier for me to salt. So thank you feminism for greater ability for salting. And also theyre more open to doing porn and casual sex, so that too. Id still have a submissive little virgin mommybangmaid wife tho.

Where does it say .8 or above = developed? From what I see there is no clear definition of where it starts and ends. "A developing country is a country with a less developed industrial base and a low Human Development Index (HDI) relative to other countries.[1] However, this definition is not universally agreed upon. There is also no clear agreement on which countries fit this category." "According to the United Nations Statistics Division: There is no established convention for the designation …

Men also shouldn't be approaching as many women as possible. They should be selective in approaching who they actually want. Most guys want a very large chunk of women. That also skews people's perception to automatically believe that men just want sex or something devious. No one with good intentions just asks out any woman that they see. It isn't flatteri…

You dont need to literate or educated to be an intellectual, nor does it guarentee you will be, but being so makes it more likely, and thus on a grand scale all other things equal, educated and literate people are more likely to be objective, and educated and literate people are more likely to be men, thus more male intellectuals. And yes I do think on a population level, women are less capable of being an intellectual, because men are more clustered at higher levels of intelligence, and althoug…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/21 05:54 PM

Unbias is directly linked to being objective. There is scientific evidence backing up the greater male variability hypothesis. Much greater evidence than "I think the amount of male and female intellectuals are the same". Being objective is usually something that is very hard to do, something that takes a lot of learning to achieve. Being that there many more illiterate and uneducated women than men, it makes sense that more men have the ability to learn how to be objective than women, and thats…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/21 05:41 PM

Unbias is but one factor that creates an intellectual. Being an intellectual is a very rare thing like you say. according to the greater male variability hypothesis, men are broadly more concentrated at extremes. Thus it would make sense there are more male intellectuals, because men are disproportionaltly represented in the highest echelons of ability.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/21 05:19 PM

Salt update: Last night I met up with this girl. Its been a bit since I salted, ive been trying to lay low but my horniness got the best of me and this basically fell right into my lap. This was by far the smoothest and least explicit salt ive ever done. I legit had only been talking to her for about 1 hour before we were making plans to meet that night. I could see her join date on SA was only like 5 days ago so she was still properly naive. She said she was looking for a sugar daddy and I said…

Men are almost always the ones planning and paying for these dates, and they dont want to overinvest in a girl who may just be wanting attention. If youre the type of woman who is okay suggesting these dates and paying for all or half of it, thats fine, but the vast majority arent. This just comes off as extremely entitled.

Per the teachings of the Red Pill we always act on this no exceptions. If we don’t it just means we’re lying about acting on because it’s in our nature is it not? Redpill isnt some concrete holy doctrine, theres different schools of thought and some people are more extreme and rigid than others. Do I doubt some redpiller said this? No, but that doesnt make it a hard rule the same way some radical feminist doesnt speak for all of feminism. Generally women do have a trend in acting this way, that …

Not according to the Red Pill, we’re always hypergamous so we’re always like this obviously. Being hypergamous and always acting on your hypergamous tendencies are two seperate things. So we do have sex with men we don’t like after all? This was never in contention, its called the 80/20 rule not the 1/99 rule. Also I dont think no women like men who fall outside of the 20% So there are women who aren’t whores that exist is what you’re saying? Thats not what that means. People as a group have a t…

But we’re all supposed to be hypergamous whores only want Chad so why are we having kids with betas? Its not binary. Women have hypergamous tendencies, that doesnt mean thats the only thing in their decision making. A lot of women would rather get with a beta after being used in her 20s than be a single mother or not have kids for example. Also why are we having sex with betas? Aren’t betas a turn off? Why aren’t we just waiting around for Chad instead? Its not binary. Its a trend and tendency t…

A lot of them, from the betas. This isnt saying betas dont have sex, its mostly about what happens before the woman picks the guy she marries or has kids with. Youre looking at things incredibly binary. RP is talking about who gets the sex during dating. Not what happens after marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/21 09:56 PM

Yeah, but Abortions exist Tons of women are on birth control A lot of people wear condoms Etc etc. Like your question doesnt make sense. Guys dont need to have tons of kids for them to have sex with a lot of women.

Its top 20% with the 80%, all it takes for that to be true is for each of them on average to have 4 women. Thats not hard. If you have sex with only 1 new woman a week thats 52 women a year. Even once a month is 12. The most true pareto principle example is probably, "of all casual sex being had by men, 20% of men are involved in 80% of the encounters"

I disagree that most are that undercover about their wealth. Theres also subtle indicators. Even if youre just driving a bmw, have a rolex, and wear brand name clothes that makes a statement. Not to mention homes, if a girl asks where you live and you say "Oh, over in [rich city]" or she sees pictures of your house on instagram, or going on vacations and stuff. Basically what im saying is youre making it far too binary and overstating the difficulty of being recognized as having money.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/21 06:24 PM
2

Thats just one way, but its def often possible for women to know a guy has money, like I said, being in the same social spheres for example. Even just meeting a girl you dont know. Its not uncommon for a girl to ask "Hey what do you do for a living?" "Oh im an investment banker on wall street". "Im a brain surgeon" etc etc.

How would you know? Your perception is likely based mostly on men's public facade. Do you really think many men would publically be like "yup, did it all for the pussy" even if it was true? Most people are saying the publically acceptable thing regardless of how true it is. Not saying most guys only do it for sex, but id say for most guys it is a pretty big conscious contributor to their actions, and thats before you get into the sub/unconscious.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/21 09:57 AM
15

You dont, but it helps a lot. Take the average guy's dating success. Maybe he can get a gf here or there and the rare hookup. Now give him a 200k a year job, his sucess is gunna look different, esp if its a job with power and prestige. Now, he didnt "need" that job to get laid, but it certainly made things a lot better and easier. That job could be the difference between a middling/substandard dating life and having a fufilling one.

Does he want to make 77k a year with 23k in taxes or 136k a year with 64k in taxes? Entirely up to him if he thinks an almost double (1.7) annual wage after taxes is worth the extra responsibility Youre taking it too literally, he is making a hypothetical analogy basically to say "if you have to work so hard for such …

I think theres probably also a good chance that if you believe one crazy conspiracy theory youre more likely to believe others. It usually goes from questioning the narrative to outright automatically beliving the opposite of anything the mainstream says. Once you get to the point of not trusting anything, its not hard to make the jump from the vaccine has tracking chips, to da jooz to repilian overlords. Theyre trying to use shaming language to influence their behavior. By either making them be quiet. "Man up" or leverage social dynamics against them, like cause them to be ostracized etc, (more of an irl thing). Social terrorism basically.

Why shouldnt we let women make their own choice? A lot of people think being a coal miner is too dangerous for them, but we dont outlaw coal mining. Im not gunna write a super in depth response for purge and I dont feel like getting into the weeds of an abortion debate in this context either but basically: There is a threshold that must first be passed in which harm is so great it would make sense to harm another person in order to prevent harm. For example, if a kid fell and scraped their leg it doesnt make sense to shoot them in the head to end their misery. You can reply if you want but im ending my responses here.

/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/21 02:12 PM

As I outlined in the post, sex does meet one of the definitions of need. The people who are saying if I dont get sex ill kill someone are wrong, but that doesnt make it not a need.

That doesnt negate the fact that sex is still a need. That just means sex being a need isnt justification for jihad if you dont get it.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/21 02:05 PM

Because sometimes that is central to the argument. If someone is trying to prove a point using flawed logic then it makes sense to call it out. Example: "My teacher said women are smarter than men". This would be an example of an appeal to authority. Just because a teacher said something doesnt inherently make it true. By saying "you are using the logical fallacy, appeal to authority" you are telling the person you are debating that their logic is flawed and thus they have not proved their claim…

Statistically, more guns in an area = more women murdered in domestics. Rape and murder are seperate things. The chance of being murdered as a woman is like .0001% chance a year. The chance of being raped is a lot higher. Also, why should the woman who could have stopped her rapist with a gun not be allowed to because another woman was murdered?

Thankfully america is at least civilized enough that we have the 8th amendment. (No cruel and unusual punishment). But yeah even if the time people are locked up goes up, the majority of rapes arent even reported. The vast majority arent convicted. So it wouldnt do anything in the 90+% of cases it happens.

/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/21 09:44 PM

Its not about men vs women, its about the climb of male rates. The rate for men has more than doubled in the last 10 years. The vast majority of female sexlessness is due to choosing to have less/no sex, so its a different conversation. The vast majority of rapes dont end in conviction either, so there will likely be more rapes, but the vast majority of rapes will go legally unpunished as they already do.

beginning of civilization when the biggest slaughters started? Thats not what im saying. I am saying there was many slaughters before that, it is not until far along in our evolution that we began to develop a conscious sense of morality. It was then at that point when people realized it was wrong that this started being spread until more and more people accepted it (which still took a long time) Either way you're compltely delusional as expected. Begone Youre being very agressive and condescend…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/21 04:12 AM

So people were raping and killing without realizing it was wrong? Yes. Humans did not start with anything near the conscious sense of morality we have now in the post enlightenment era. You seem to be unaware of human evolution. It took over 100 thousand years for anatomically modern cro-magnons to become behaviorally modern cro-magnons, which was still over 40,000 years ago iirc. What we identify as civilization has not even been around for a quarter of that 40k years.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/21 03:56 AM
0

Correct. And the first step in the change was first the realization that it was wrong, and then awareness of that being spread, which is the same thing im advocating for.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/21 03:44 AM
1

I agree with the former but im not sure about the latter. I kind of doubt men got more leeway from women about their masculinity back in 1940 or whenever, if you think so thought, a lot of that could also be due to what a woman was allowed to say. Women may have judged men far more harshly in the past but had not been able to speak upon it the way they can now. If anything I do truly believe women are more accepting of men being expressive now than they ever had been. In the past masculinity was…

/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/21 02:35 AM

No one wants to hear anyone complain, but that doesnt mean we cant as a society strive to be more accepting of male expressiveness.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/21 02:28 AM
2

If more women become accepting of male expressiveness in a partner, even if it doesnt arouse them, then thats still something we should strive for. Im accepting of women having periods, but im not turned on by it.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/21 02:27 AM
1

Yeah strength isnt inherently bad but the pursuit of it often time results in pretty toxic things, like men repressing their emotions. So in moderation it can good, in certain forms. As for my OP yeah I did conflate weakness and expressiveness I was wrong to do that, I was doing so because being expressive is often times seen as inherently weak in men, so I used the term for what is colloquially encompasses.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/21 02:26 AM
0

I am not saying we can or should try to force women to change who they are attracted to, but we can change the amount of acceptance there is societally for men being more expressive, and if more men were to act this way, then more women would likely be accepting of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/21 02:20 AM
3

It's not just about access to women, its about men speaking of most if not all of their struggles. Also, a large reason why people have such of a visceral negative reaction towards men showing vulnerability is because they conditioned to have the sexist belief that its counter to the way men "should" behave.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/21 02:15 AM
1

You can (should) be expressive and strong. There's no reason to be weak I can agree with this, weakness and expressiveness are two seperate things that are often conflated. I do not see being expressive as inherently weakness.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/21 02:13 AM
2

The more awareness there is to it, the more people can consciously decide to make changes. People were raping and killing each other far more often in the past than they are now, but we have come a very long way since then in reducing our natural urges. Just because something is natural does not mean it is good, nor that we should succumb to it. We are not complete slaves to our primal urges. But I agree in the current atmopshere, on an individual pragmatic level, it does make sense to try to be…

Either we have an atmosphere where masculinity is deeply prized and thus as a result there will be much toxic masculinity, or we have an atmosphere where men are free to express themselves, which is much more conducive to a reduction in toxic masculinity. People say they want less toxic masculinity, and we have a society that is more conducive than it was in the past to allowing men to express themselves, and thus more men will be allowed be "weak", and thats okay.

"Men arent afraid to go out at night" Have you considered that maybe theres a lot of men who do fear it (and have valid reason to. Yeah I cant think of anything, a "loser" woman still has a lot of value as long as she looks half decent (and even thats negotiatable), whereas a loser male unless theyre doing well in some other area, is seen as worthless. The closest thing I can think of would be is if she turns into a radical feminist and gets really fat, shaves her head and lets her body hair grow out. As a man I've been asked like 3 times and only asked once when I was younger. Usually if a girl is a virgin she will tell you and if shes not. If I wanted to ask, which I dont really care about unless id be considering marrying a woman, id def ask after weve already had sex because I wouldnt want to risk the pussy.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/21 06:48 PM

Oh yeah I agree that it definitely can be that, like another commenter below was saying guys often dont accept or see theres a difference between "I want this but I dont want to be seen as a slut" like in baby its cold outside, and "im not sure if I want this [but im open to seeing if you can convince me]" And guys pretty much see it as the former only ever happens, which is probably an ego thing because they think theyre so hot and sexy no girl can resist, but to be fair to men both the former …

We have rapport. We do that. We banter. We have reached an intimacy level where explicitess is sexy because they always turn me on. Yeah the problem is from the man's perspective they often appear as the same thing and you would act the same way regardless of which it is, so in that way it doesnt really matter to the guy which one it is, and we can't read minds. Thats why trp usually doesnt make a distinction, because from the man's perspective it doesnt make a difference. Its some kind of rationalization. They want it to be true that having sex with a bunch of men makes them better at sex, because they have sex with a bunch of men. The fact that a girl can be good at sex while only having had one partner throws a wrench in that. I could teach a virgin how to have good sex by myself, she doesnt need to have sex with dozens of men to be able to do that. The same way you dont need dozens of teachers to teach you how to do multiplication. One good teacher will suffic…

On the "plausible deniability thing". Basically, women dont want to be lied to or misled into having sex with a guy so they advise men not to do it so they have a chance to reject them. If drink the koolaid and be explicit, it means you failed the "dont be autistic" test, or she isnt sufficiently atttacted to you. Fact is most guys if they want to maximize sexual success, cant upfront about it, because most guys dont have the sexual capital to pull off being explicit. So its either be implicit/u…

Yeah im not denying there are some women who want that, but if in 90 out of 100 cases women would be more likely to have sex when the man uses plausible deniability, then it makes sense for the guy to use plausible deniability. Im not saying you are wrong about your personal tastes im just talking about what would more benefit a man in general.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/21 09:16 AM

Because sometimes women change their mind, or they wanted plausible denaibility and it works, and if a guy doesnt want to waste a bunch of time courting a girl and wants to come to a decisive answer, then it makes sense for him to try. Either he fucks or a finds out the girl is going to take too long to fuck so he can stop worrying about her focus on a girl more in line with what he wants.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/21 09:11 AM

Yeah, the difference is you are saying what would personally attract you, whereas men want to know what is generally going to be the best course of action. Much more women than not want plausibility deniability in most cases, so it makes more sense for them to take that route if they want to have success in a greater portion of circumstances.

i don’t really see what’s wrong with determining if you’re on the same page or not, either. From the viewpoint of the man it would make more sense to have plausible deniability/lie/be implicit if he wants to have sex if the case is that being explicit will make him less likely to have sex.

i would prefer if he ask me if i wanna fool around or fuck if that’s what his intent is. But would you actually do it is the question. A lot of women would want to explicitly be asked so they can reject it if theyre not on the same page.

Three reasons: What they offer outweighs the bad to the woman, this is oftentimes accompanied with the woman trying to "fix him". Theyre able to conceal it well enough for long enough, along with charisma and seduction they use to get their hooks in before they start showing their true colors by slowly ramping up abuse. Some women are just genuinely attracted to these kind of guys.

Yeah I agree. The same way women who get pregnant in places where regular abortion isnt an option are idiots, but that doesnt mean we cant change things and that they should stay the way they are or that we cant legislate away natural unfairness.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/21 05:27 AM
1

You might say there is a reason we do such a thing, but that doesnt undo the fact that we do it. I agree that employers shouldnt discriminate against women or pregnant women, but I also believe we should allow men to have financial abortions as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/21 05:20 AM
2

Pregnancy or potential pregnancy makes a company take on an extra financial risk for her employer which isnt there for a man. A pregnant woman, which it is illegal to discriminate against, can definitely have a lesser potential to do work tasks as well. You might say its not completely comparable in terms of gravity, but it is still an example of legislating away natural unfairness. If we can do it there we can do it for financial abortions as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/21 05:15 AM
3

Nature isnt fair, but we dont let companies not hire women because of the chance they get pregnant and leave. We dont even let them not hire currently pregnant women. Being that theres a precedent in that for legislating away natural unfairness, it stands to reason we can allow men to have financial abortions as well. Nature isnt what is forcing men to pay child support.

Arbitrary = based on random choice or personal whim, rather than any reason or system. This is a based on facts and evidence. There is no fact or evidence that shows that the limit for abortion should be tied to viability. Its an opinion. A fetus under 24 weeks doesn't have a life as it is not an independent life form (more like a parasite) There are parasitic life forms. Ticks are alive for example. If a fetus under 24 is not alive. What makes it alive at 24 weeks? Was the youngest premie that …

"in Britain, is available up to 24 weeks' gestation. The rationale for the 'time limit' being set at 24 weeks is that this is the point at which a fetus becomes 'viable': that is, capable of surviving outside of the womb." Tying it to viability is arbitrary. There is no argument on whether it is right or wrong as it is a personal feeling (all morals are) so if my stance is abortion is fine then there is nothing you can argue against that with (same for vice versa) and so the argument actually co…

And that's why a limit is put in place (24 weeks here in the uk) and gives a women the time to process whether the baby is going to cause any problems. So then you agree that there should be a limit, that there is a point when we can tell the mother she no longer has a a choice, now the question is not whether there should be a limit, but when, and the when is going to be arbitrary. But that relies on if in fact kicking puppies is wrong. (some will say yes and some will say no) And this is the c…
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/21 03:52 PM
1

Well only a mother could really decide that. So if this were to occur for a mother at the 9 month mark, she should be allowed to still have an abortion, even if the baby was completely healthy? Being a hypocrite doesnt make the logic inherently false. What you are saying is a logical fallacy known as tu quoque. Like I said with the puppy analogy, me kicking puppies doesnt make kicking puppies okay, nor kittens.

Then at what point is it more harm to the mother than the baby? And is it more harm for a baby to be born to a mother who can't look after it? I dont know, thats things that are very hotly debated. I personally couldn't put an exact number on it. No, they are part of this conversation if you want to use the "causing harm" excuse. Whatever people decide on those other questions is irrelevant to how it effects abortion. The ability for people to be incongruent on their stances doesnt change the an…

I amend my statement to "There is a point in which most people think that something causing enough harm to others should be illegal" Freedom is a delicate balance. You have to restrict some things in order to offer more overall freedom. For example, by not restricting murder, you are going to overall have more trampling of rights. Those other things you listed are whataboutisms and for a different conversation.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/21 03:15 PM

That vast majority people arent going to be okay with someone getting an abortion for no reason at 9 months for example. Theyd see it as murder. So no, we shouldnt let people just decide. We might not know the exact moment in which personhood should be assigned (because its arbitrary), but the vast majority of people agree there should be a limit at some point. 65% of people think abortion after 12 weeks should be illegal.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/21 03:10 PM

People should be allowed to do what they want as long as it doesnt harm others. Pro-lifers and the vast majority of pro-choicers believe at some point during pregnancy there is another person and thus shouldnt be allowed to be killed.

Theres many women who have been pregnant who are pro-life. So what you have experienced doesnt mean youre going to have a certain opinion on it, which makes the point moot.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/21 02:25 PM

No im just being pedantic, but it doesnt really matter, because like I said in 2019 the majority of women were pro-life. So its not about "people dont understand". People who can get pregnant do support this stance. Very many of them.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/21 02:15 PM

If women have to be forced into it, they need to be reimbursed somehow. Why? Also, we already do force women to have the kid after a certain point, the debate is just over when that point should be. Also, theres tons of pro life women. In 2019 the majority of women were pro life. Also I already have trillions of organisms living in my body.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/21 02:08 PM
2

The why is because of political expediency. Without a rape exception very few people would be in support of it. But I actually agree that rape shouldnt be a factor in it if you want to be philosophically consistent, its just that people usually arent if it means they come to conclusions they dont like, so its hard to get that voted for.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/21 02:05 PM

One reason why "my body my choice" falls flat. Nearly all americans do not think it should be legal for a woman to have an abortion at any point in a pregnancy for no reason. With this, we can say that it is infact okay to tell a woman what she cannot do with her body. The vast majority of people are arguing at which point and under which circumstances, not if, we can tell a woman what she can do with her body in regards to abortion.

Women and feminism push forth a social fiction of it being okay for men to act more feminine and unmasculine, and this often times is in contrast to what women are attracted to. Men are extremely motivated, probably more than by nearly any other factor, to gain female attraction. Human's rational, logical brain can come to the conclusion all that it likes; that men can or should be more feminine, but that is in conflict with the primitive and unconscious part which governs sexual desire for both…

/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/21 09:19 PM

I disagree. Peoples tastes change based upon availability. People are more able to be content with what is more realistically obtainable. Example: If I lived in a poor country I might see mcdonalds as a luxury, but if I had access to 5 star meals all the time I would not.

I dont know that they were lying, some of them maybe were just keeping up the polite fiction, others probably thought it actually worked that way. The competition back then was less, just like how boomers will say outdated things about job hunting like "just go in there, ask for the manager, and give him a firm handshake!". Back then that had a far better chance of working. The dating equivalent of that advice is what is being peddled today when things are far harder, and you can probably imagin…

Theres more to masculinity than just that. Youre moving the goal post by focusing two specific, which id still contest to an extent. Theres also a difference between settling for and being attracted to. There aspects of masculinity when there are far more things that comprise masculinity, Imagine a girl who sits on a couch like this, https://c8.alamy.com/comp/P8WD9K/young-man-sitting-on-couch-with-his-legs-open-and-his-belly-hanging-out-P8WD9K.jpg dressed that way, scratches her crotch, burps an…

That doesnt contridict what I said infact thats a component of it, though I disagree that there arent many men who are turned off by masculine women, and far more who have a strong preference for feminine women, its just that men have far less leverage now to "enforce" female femininity, whereas women have far more leverage to "enforce" male masculinity. Which is the reason why men are more chained to their roles which is what the other guy was talking about.

I agree that men do it too, but what men do does not negate what women do, and that does not mean we cannot talk about it either. Men are also far more upfront about this, women far more try to hide the duality of their sexual nature. Thing is what you see in public is not the full picture. These couples you see are those who are openly and publically in an actual relationship. Yeah I think it has to do a lot with difference in power between the male and female sexual "cartels" so to speak. The female cartel is much stronger due to women as a group having far less "thirst" than men, and also acting more collectively, thus giving them a much stronger bargaining power. Basically, theres far more leverage from the implicit or even sometimes explicit "act how we want or we wont fuck you" which is is going far more push men to uphold the aspects of masculinity that cater to…

Because sex isnt equally distributed. Lets use a money analogy. If you simplified all people down to only 100, and all money down to only 100 dollars, 1 person would have 50 dollars. Now im not saying the sex distribution is that bad, but it just goes to show that its not 1:1. Another way to look at it. If theres 10 men and 10 women, and one man has sex with all 10 women and the rest of the men have zero, the average amount of sex had for each gender is still 1.

If everyone is lying there is no leverage. I highly disagree. Firstly not everyone has the ability to lie equally as well, nor equal ability to discern lies, nor chooses to lie equally as much, nor does everyone tell the same "level" of lies, secondly and more importantly there are other facets to leverage, such as SMV, which women have an inherent advantage in.

Youre missing a lot of variables in the first scenario. All other things equal the man wins, but women are hypergamous, so likely it ends up being a wash or in her favor. The woman is very likely getting with a higher value male than what she is. For the second scenario, SMV isnt objective as someone else mentioned I believed. If it fails I would argue for many men it is a big loss, because of the opportunity cost, and the cost to replace her.

I personally feel some way about this guy and you don’t agree. Youre making an unsubstantiated assumption which is immaterial to his logic I don’t like the way he’s present…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 12:56 AM

My friends and I wouldn’t give guys who rant about women on social media the time of day. You couldnt know what someone writes about online like that. But the point of the post is that he can’t get laid without lying. No, he never said he cant, its just easier. But if a guy is having sex, why would be be ranting about not being able to get it without lying? He never said he couldnt without lying.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 12:52 AM
1

Not sarcasm.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 12:47 AM

Why do you believe that? Tell me why it isnt just because youre trying to shame him or undermine his point/masculinity or whatever by saying he doesnt get sex. How is that even relevant to his point being correct or not anyways?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 12:47 AM
1

The implicit conclusion is that you ought to lie if you are only concerned with optimal sexual strategy, which I agree with. People want what is in their best interest, and you have agreed so do women, so why cannot men act in theirs if they are only concerned with optimal success?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 12:46 AM

No, he is getting laid, by being an asshole. You misread what I said.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 12:44 AM

No, he is getting laid precisely because he is an asshole.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 12:39 AM
2

Why do that when he can lie?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 12:39 AM

I mean, even if you find those women, it doesnt mean theyll be into you, so if youre merely concerned with optimal success you ought to lie as itd make it easier for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 12:38 AM

And this is why men should feel no obligation to do so either, and to do what is in their best interest as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 12:37 AM
1

Thats not putting a weight on it. Its making a factual claim. But regardless of that, how is his conclusion incorrect?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 12:32 AM
2

He never put a weight on feelings, he put a weight on actions.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 12:30 AM
3

He hasnt said they shouldnt feel that way. He is simply stating that they do. If you are only concerned with optimal success, then you should lie, regardless of if they feel upset or not. The upsetness is pretty much immaterial.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 12:15 AM
2

No, I dont think he said anything about how they should not being upset.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 12:08 AM

On a macro scale yes, but me acting as an individual, no. I think im ahead of the curve and will be able to get mine before we get anywhere near nash equilibrium. What I do as an individual is going to have nearly zero effect on a macro level.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 11:49 PM

Thats the implication of his post and what he has been defending in the comments.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 11:47 PM
0

I mean, all of it is "no shit", but he is using the basis of everything you mentioned to form his conclusion.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 11:41 PM
2

Lying to women about my intentions, lying to make myself appear to be higher value, basically lying about anything which I think telling the truth would put me at a disadvantage for. Also what do you mean by bring the goods in this case? If you want the strategy of brutal honesty to be efficient you still have to have something which the woman wants to engage with you for, broadly speaking SMV.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 11:40 PM

His complaint is that he is being asked to make a suboptimal decision, and he is saying it is not worth making a sub optimal decision for other people's benefit.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 11:37 PM
1

Well, we place a vastly different value on sex, have a vastly different want for sex, have a vastly different access to sex, and have a vastly different idea of morality, so I guess I cant expect us to see eye to eye.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 11:26 PM

"what set of ethical axioms/conventions works best". Thats going to depend for what purpose, and being that which purpose is going to be deemed to be most important is subjective, it still just goes back to being subjective. So at that point I have to ask again if there is any meaning to do so?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 11:21 PM
1

Well, im not going to knock how you choose to do and prioritize things. Im just asking for that same respect 😝

A rich person probably would never see a reason to steal bread either.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 10:55 PM

Youre right I wouldnt complain, I would and do just do whatever I can to mitigate or eliminate the chance of being found out and mitigate or eliminate the damage which would be caused to me from being found out. And even in the sample given, women aren't the ones lying. That doesnt really have any bearing on who lies more though, thats just a way a random PPD author chose to try to make their point.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 10:51 PM

Alright, so say we disregard grand scale all together. That would then revert us to simply human appraisal, to which I would then say just because humans appraise something a certain way, doesnt mean it truly has that value. Now you can say, bevause we are unconcerned with grand scale, that humans should be the arbiter or value, but I dont think we can make that jump, when there is an alternative of simply saying no one or no thing can actually appraise true value. So with that, if we are speaki…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 10:45 PM

Yes, but he's arguing that the best thing to do is lie to women. If youre most concerned with optimal success, and not morality, then you ought to, as it would achieve that goal. and also suggests that he isn't willing to die alone I dont actually believe that is necessary to fufill your wants. It may potentially make it easier, but its not necessary.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 10:33 PM

I believe that men do, but not to the extent women do, but even if I am wrong about that, I believe the average individual man ought to be more self interested than he currently is, if he is most motivated by increasing optimal success. If you can't honestly say that you'd rather die alone than date someone you don't actually want on the terms that work for you, that's your own problem to overcome. He is proposing a method to overcome this, which is to be more self interested and to act more mac…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 10:29 PM

Yeah im trying to make the transition to that, but you have to "bring the goods" so to speak to a certain extent, and I cannot yet deliver on that so its not a very effective strategy currently.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 10:25 PM

Youre right, its not explicitly mentioned though I believe heavily implicitly implied. Even outside of societal perspective, my point still stands. Men should be self interested just like women are.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 10:23 PM

To me casual dating is anything outside of an LTR/ explicit route to LTR with exclusivity and with mutual romantic intent. Though this is from a monogamist perspective with monogamous LTR intent.

and it shows that reality isn't some incoherent absurdist painting; Is it not possible that it is, and that we as humans are simply biased in percieving it to not be? But I guess we are using a different definition of meaning. I personally wouldnt call meaning the process of how we came to be and what exists around us though, I think thats what your interpretation is. But we can reverse engineer the reasons why we came to be, and live in the manner the universe prescribed for us through our biol…

I think the HVM drinks, but only out of appreciation of the taste, and in social situations, and never publically gets drunk. I cant think of a logical explanation for why, but thats what I came up with 😝
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 10:08 PM

What would you have done if he would have won? Lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 10:06 PM

Then would it be morality in that case?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 09:55 PM

So lets say for arguments sake that animals do have the ability to assess fairness, and they do have the ability to emphasize, and let us even go further to say that they can even assess morality, I still would not believe that it gives the concept of morality any more validity than if that had not been the case.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 09:52 PM

I dont doubt that many people do feel bad about acting in conflict with their subjective morality, and that to the individual perhaps they can convince themself that morality exists, or at least act as if it does, and believe that their view of morality should be personally headed, but all that being said I think it still may not actually matter. Though I wouldnt blame people for acting as if it does for pragmatic purposes and for the reason that they believe it is the best way to live the life …
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 09:48 PM

Interesting. Id have to think about that
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 09:45 PM

Then there's no such thing as "faux-meaning" either, as it implies a kind of "true meaning" that it fails to meet the standard of. I would disagree with that. It doesnt mean there is a true meaning, it means that since there is no true meaning, any attempt at proclaiming a true meaning would be a faux-meaning. This is simply a convention so we are able to speak in contrast about something which doesnt exist. As far as what constitutes real, I actually think that is a far less interesting questio…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 09:44 PM

This in response to meaning. Does making a decision that something is true, make it true?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 09:34 PM

But that's what I was asking in return, what would count as "true meaning" to you? I dont believe there is such a thing. It seems that your arguing because it only exists within and between our minds it isn't real. But what's in our minds is actually the only thing that's real. It's all we ever actually experience What constitutes "real".
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 09:32 PM

So lets say it has an evolutionary foundation, I still dont believe that adds any validity to it.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 09:30 PM

Im not denying that they "exist" as concepts. I am saying that they do not actually inherently have meaning or worth. Only human assigned value. I dont believe a human deciding something has value or meaning inherently makes it so. Meaning and value is of human concern, but what is of human concern is actually inconsequential on a grand scale.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 09:29 PM

I would disagree with that. I think it either is or is not. I would not say that imagining something makes it to be true, no more than me imagining me being able to fly means I actually have the ability to fly.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 09:24 PM

I wouldnt agree that animals have a moral code, as they cannot assess what is morality. They are simply acting. Their actions are inherently amoral. We are the ones assigning a moral value to it.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 09:22 PM

Is it morality if it is instinctive is what im asking. For example, you might say a monkey giving another monkey a banana is morally good, but that is because you are assigning your moral value onto it. If you take our perception out of it, then does it actually have a moral weight? I would say no, because monkeys cannot consider the concept of morality and thus their actions would be better off classified as amoral.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 09:19 PM

As humans we are biased in percieving things we do/humanity does as having meaning, I am arguing that it is actually not, it is more like faux-meaning to maintain sanity among humans.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 09:16 PM

Is it actual meaning, or faux-meaning?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 09:13 PM
2

I can maintain optics and be percieved by anyone who matters to me as "good" while actually being "bad" (in reference to commonly accepted morality). So yes your inner self can be different than your external self is percieved.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 09:12 PM

Morality is genetic as social animals Im not really convinced of that. I feel like it is certainly possible to act and exist without any concept of morality, and thus I would say its not genetic. Most or probably all social animals dont consider good or evil, it is us as humans assigning our morality to their actions.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 09:11 PM
2

No, I see no importance in being what you consider to be good. I was responding to the "snap back like a rubber band" part.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 09:09 PM

Morality is inherently subjective, but having the intellectual capacity to form a moral structure is crucial to social cooperation I agree with that, though I would argue social cooperation is actually of no importance being that our existence is meaningless and inconsequential on a grand scale.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 09:02 PM

Morality is a social construct which is inherently subjective and arbitrary, humans simply are concerned with morality as we look for guidance in a universe which inherently doesnt have any, as life and existence generally is ultimately meaningless, which unnerves us and so we use morality (among many other things) as a mental defense mechanism and as a tool in part to find meaning. Thoughts?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 08:59 PM

That certainly is a risk, but it is not inherently true. Fortunately or unfortunately sometimes "the bad guy" wins, life isnt a superhero movie. The thing is, throughout history often times the bad guy convinces you he is the good guy if he is victorious.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 08:51 PM

I am cold-blooded about my own self interests. Wherever the chips fall because of that is where they fall (within the bounds of legality of course).
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 08:46 PM

I mean, you are certainly entitled to live your life in the way you seem fit, and so am I. You are free to see my choice as sad, and I am free to see it as not, though I disagree with the motives youve stated for my decision. Whether or not you believe something to be wrong is immaterial to whether or not someone should choose to do something, which was the original statement from you, that I should not, or people should not. Why should they not if they do not agree with your subjective view of morality?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 08:34 PM
4

I mean, thats your opinion to think its wrong, that doesnt mean I believe it is, or people who engage in it do, nor does it mean it is objectively wrong. So your moral view of wrongness is immaterial when it comes to assessing whether or not it should be done.

Even when counting up all of the women who intentfully engage in casual sex, and who would realistically potentially be lusted into it, the number of women is still going to be far outweighed by the number of men. Okay lets make a better analogy than pizza. We can simply talk about hunger because it is a primal desire. Just because I want food does not mean I will eat any food. And analogously a very large portion women will never be "hungry enough" that they will consider a meal that they consi…

I disagree with that. I am not concerned with anything other than what the law says when it comes to my actions and efficiency. The law says its permissible to lie for sex. Outside of law I am only concerned with efficiency. If a man has this same view then I would say he ought to lie if he is only concerned with optimal success.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 08:04 PM

Most people regardless of gender like sex but that is different than casual sex. Thats like saying most people like pizza so most people like pineapple pizza. I do agree that the amount of women who want casual sex is greater than many people believe, but even with that I believe the amount of men who want casual sex is still far greater.

The idea is that if we all were honest, dating would be better for everyone. When they put down their arms first, I will put down mine, it doesnt make sense for those who are already disadvantaged to agree to truth first. We can talk about a utopian society but we dont live in a utopian society, and im not willing to take the high road at personal disadvantage for the good of everyone else, and neither are women, even when they already have an inherent advantage, so why would I?

They should lower their looks standards and aim for women in their league, then. Why should they? Absolutely no reason to lie. No one is entitled to anything. If you can't get the casual sex you want, too bad, so sad. You can masturbate If no one is entitled to anything, then no one is entitled to honesty. If people get lied to for sex then too bad so sad.

I'm going to assume it's a man problem and not a me problem since I eventually met an amazing man and married him. You said though that it was the men chasing you, not all men. For what reason those men have disproportionaltly chased you. When a guy says he's only looking for sex, I'm going to take his word for it, not test the theory. That would be moronic. I really doubt that most of them explicitly said that, but okay.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 07:23 PM
2

Im pretty sure he did not say that. But outside of that, yes I agree men also to some extent do what is in their best interest BUT there is a difference in the societal acceptance of men doing so, so he is making the argument that in spite of the difference in societal perspective, men ought to do more of what is in there best interest, because women are doing so as well. So basically, whats good for the goose is good for the gander.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 07:22 PM

So,men who are only looking for sex should just visit prostitutes or be honest about only wanting a One night stand/casual sex. Why should they do that?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 07:19 PM

If thats what you believe, but that is the purpose of it. Even if he isnt doing so with the intent to change his view, he is still doing it with the intent to debate his viewpoint, which is why he tried to give a logical basis for it.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 07:18 PM

But men are still prioritizing what they want. Yes but he is talking about the difference in societal acceptance between a man and a woman doing it.

Why do you believe that? I think you are conflating speaking frankly with being angry.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 07:16 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 07:14 PM

TRP is not one doctrine that is agreed to by all members, it has many different schools of thought. What he is talking about is more the machiavellian realpolitik perspective of sexual strategy which is completely unconcerned with morality and only concerned with outcome. There are other schools of TRP which put more emphasis on not acting in conflict with their own moral systems.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 07:11 PM

Okay, then perhaps you should question what about you is the reason are you disproportionaltly attracting those kinds of men. Also, how would you know they only wanted fun anyways if you didnt follow through with it? Youre guessing.

You said the first part of the sentence, the second part is me extending the logic.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 07:05 PM

He is making the point that what is good for the goose is good for the gander, since women already do what you described, he is saying men ought to be deceitful as well. Which I agree with. Now you can try to loop it around again, but it isnt in conflict with his post, infact it just reinforces it.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 07:04 PM

Men just want women to acquiesce to their desires and y'all can stay mad that we won't I mean, sometimes they do, and this guy is talking about how a guy best go about having them fufill his desires.

Not to mention women in general rarely have Orgasm through casual sex (I read in an article 7-10% women have Orgasm during casual sex) Who TF wants to risk STDs, Pregnancy, Sexual Assault, emotional attachment,Sl*t-shaming,side effects of Birth control for a Orgasmless sex when vibrators can guarantee her a top tier orgasm!!! No, if a woman wants to not be seen as a slut she can very easily do that today without anyone of any importance in her life knowing about it. If a woman fucks a bunch of dudes that are not socially connected to her, know one of importance in her life would know, and it would not negatively socially effect her either.

Im just saying you cant say "96%" of men only want fun. Which Im not going to get hung up on the exact number because I assume you mean it to be "nearly all men". But I think very many men would be open to having a relationship with a girl that started out as casual. Far more than 4%. Which its fine if you dont want to take the risk, im just saying that doesnt change the fact that many men dont only want fun.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 06:53 PM

You are saying that its okay for people to do what is best for them, and lying can be what is best for someone.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 06:50 PM

There are a ton of women who want casual sex. There’s no reason to deceive someone who doesn’t. The reason would be that they cannot get with a woman who wants casual sex. When you say "a ton of women" its actually a minority of women. And the amount of women who want casual sex is FAR outweighed by the amount of men who do. So, if you want casual sex and you are unable to get casual sex without lying, then that would be the reason to lie.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 06:49 PM

Who wouldn't prefer something that benefits them? That's most people. So then why cant guys lie to get what they want? Why should you prioritize internalizing what most of society deems as a good person anyways?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 06:47 PM

Theoretically yes, it would be in their best interest to never believe men (or anyone) and then the result of that would be to never have a LTR. But people prefer not to do that, so they have to take a risk while pursuing LTR if thats what they want.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/21 06:45 PM

Why should they do that? And in reality being honest and still finding success is a pretty great feeling. This is how you prioritize things, that doesnt mean every guy does. Persobally id rather have the success I want while lying than to not have success while being honest.

Yeah. I mean I think they do have somewhat of a point though. They mention places with optimal success, and in circumstances with optimal success, but with prioritization to least risking making a woman uncomfortable, but I think a large portion of men are not going to get sufficient play from only approaching women in such circumstances and so they ought to still try even in places without optimal success and in optimal situations if they want to maximize their outcome
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/21 08:24 PM

Yeah I agree lol. I think if able to a guy should only approach them giving him IOIs, for his and her best interest, but being that most guys do not or hardly ever get IOIs the next best step would be to approach those who are simply not giving "fuck you" signals, which undoubtedly is going to make many women uncomfortable.

If you hit on a woman in good faith you will have to in some extent suspend empathy because of the risk of it making her uncomfortable. I agree with him that it is okay to do so in this circumstance.

Then you shouldnt be arguing with that guy, because he hasnt said anything mutually exclusive to that.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/21 08:03 PM

Why you shouldnt care about the risk of making a woman uncomfortable from hitting on them Disclamer: Im not saying you should go out of your way to make them uncomfortable. People act in their own best interest. When women say they dont want guys approaching them in public, this is coming from their own self interest. They want to make their viewpoint the societal status quo, because the more men who believe this, the less will approach them, and being that the circumstances in which a guy she w…

If people are empathetic then they will understand a guy trying to find a romantic interest. If he is acting in good faith, and trying to minimize as much as possible the uncomfortability of the woman of course. No one is entitled to go through life without ever being inconvenienced in public.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/21 07:45 PM

You shouldnt. Women do what is in their best interest, and you should do what is in yours. If the price to pay is someone potentially feeling uncomfortable for a few moments, thats a price im willing to pay.

And if he was ugly and not fit and he followed all the rules you set out he wouldnt have been successfull either. Which you already admitted to so dont try to backtrack on it now. Its a feedback loop. A large portion of guys dont get any/much attention from women, so they take the slightest bit of interest from women as a hint, which makes women give even less positive attention to men, so on and so on.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/21 07:17 AM

Yeah, thing is its obvious to them because obviously they know the intent. It may not be obvious to the person recieving it. There are women who literally flirt with no intention of it turning into anything too, so theres that as well. Theres a good chance you wont know if you dont press on it.

I think it happens naturally to an extent, but also you can definitely turn up the knob and make it happen to a much greater extent in an unnatural way, which I think using terms which help dehumanize people aids in.

Im not saying it is because of merely the language, but the language aids in the process/can be the cap stone of dehumanization, also I think theres a difference between "NPC-ifying" people, and actively seeing them as a detriment in general or in conflict with your interests.

That reminds me of Ed Kemper, he would drive around and pick up college aged/college girls and kill them. He said whenever that happened he wouldn't dare do anything to them. But he never explained why. I think it probably had to do with them acting as a holding up a mirror. I have that diagnosis, and have had several doctors agree with the diagnosis, and have read the DSM5 and personally agreed that I meet all of the diagnostic criterion. I would say its more like a spectrum in terms of empathy. If the average person were to score 50 out of 100 on empathy id say im probably around a 5, and the purest form of psychopathy/sociopathy would be a zero. I agree. I was gunna make a post about this but never got around to it. A man's best interest is to try to get ahead of the curve financially and then try to have the bridge burned behind him. The more women are unable to be financially independent, the more they would be reliant on a man, and the more theyd be trading pussy for resources. "bad experiences are more common with older men". If thats all they said then I wouldnt take issue with it. Sounds like you are trying to avoid the point. Which point is that? I'm not alone in thinking that these progressive policies don't work. White people make up 60% of the population. Therefore being 72.6% of business owners, they are disproportionaltly represented in comparison to their racial demographic makeup in america.

Neither of those things negate the fact that black people are disproportionately underrepresented. They simply are part of the reason why. We have to ask for what reason are those other races disprotionately overrepresented.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/21 01:20 AM
3

Youre using an apex fallacy to justify your logic. Equal races do not have equal opportunity outside of on paper and even this is a more recent development in terms of our country's existence. And thats before you get into the history before that. Yes it is possible for some people to succeed in spite of undue barriers that other groups do not have, but that does not mean we have equal opportunity. That means some people are capable of succeeding in spite of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/21 01:17 AM

How does that factor into it? Its comparing demographics to business ownership. I dont need to know how many groups there are to know 6% of business owners are black but make up 13% of the population

Opportunity is not the only factor which contributes to outcome. The effects of historical factors do not dissapear simply because on paper there is equal opportunity now. In part because of historical oppression, different groups of people are not equally equipped to do certain things. Because of this "well, you have equal opportunity now (on paper)" is not sufficient. And thats before you even get into the discussion of if we actually do have equal opportunity, which I dont believe we do due t…

So what's the point in moaning or debating on here with women? So they can "at least be honest with men, as mommy and daddy disney lied to me!" You've done your best to try and strawman and reframe this position, but what exactly is wrong with the pursuit of and the dissemination of the truth?

Well the most glaring one is she suggested we go to a motel 6. Very ghetto and the rooms were accessable from the steet. Any real SB would not reccomend this. I chalked it up to her being dumb about hotels or maybe wanting to have me spend less. Another was that I looked up her on facebook and she was conducting herself in a manner extremely different than the way she was speaking to me. Aka she would talk in ghetto slang on her fb. I had also caught her in a lie. She said she did not smoke weed…

In retrospect they definitely planned this from the begining in advance. It wasnt something that happened spur of the moment certainly. Like I totally ignored 100 red flags. This shouldnt have happened, but I acted really stupid because I got complacent.

Welp, shit PPD. Im not going to get super into detail because I dont want to risk incriminating myself in any way, but I finally got a little bit of what was coming to me today. Im still pretty shooken up and counting my blessings hours later. I got robbed today during an attempted salt. Im so very lucky I did not get maimed, killed or arrested and all I lost was 200 dollars and sweated some bullets for a bit. I deserve so much worse, I cant even pretend like I didnt deserve it. Will I stop salt…

I would fuck the goat. Which reminds me of something one of my drill sergeants would say to assert dominance. "IM THE ONE FUCKING THIS GOAT, PRIVATE".

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
