It's heavily debated despite many very old Red Pillers coming back online to share their stories. As far as we've been able to deduce that 12+ years ago there was a 'version' off Reddit that focused on self-improvement, learning how to make your relationship with the opposite sex better, teaching both sexes how to avoid abusive people, how to spot it within friendships, boundaries, attachment stuff and fixing yours, how to be a good Red Pill wife (the one I was in), etc. There was a version wher…

'You're finding bad women because you're a bad man.' '[Red Pill] is a good on ramp, but it's not the highway.' 'When [women] get in good relationships, they start to heal. A healthy woman instinctively builds self-correcting networks.' Seems he also covers the differences between the versions too and the difference between the good original Red Pill and the one the grifters infected. He touches on a lot of good topics. This interview is great and said in a way that is easy to understand!👍🏼

The logic in shaming women for sex is so strange to me. The sheer amount of grown-ass men I've talked to that think we get looser with sex is mind boggling. This is part of that same thing. It all boils down to a lack of quality sex education and experience.

[TRIGGER WARNING] It's a very long and windy road, but basically I went to go meet a friend I met through gaming in his country, I accidentally got triggered by something on the news I heard after I got there (something bad I had personally gone through), I completely dissociated and blacked out but it was the first time I was self-aware that I had a serious neurological issue. I didn't tell him at the time (not intentionally, it was just because I didn't have the words to describe WTF was happe…

“Oh god please don’t annoy me like you do every morning” Holup, she really said this? Why are you giving her the time of day?

There is no telling if he'll let you walk away or not. The best you can do is do what you need to do and educate yourself on the 'ideology' and understand why certain behaviours are used. The biggest part is to understand the hot/cold being combined with breadcrumbing and then it cycling every 3 months or so. That's the process that makes our heads swim and creates a literal addiction to the person, making it nearly impossible to leave the longer it goes on. Please take care of yourself. I've be…

Banter? No. It's the word for "Good-humored, playful, or teasing conversation" or "playful good-natured ridicule to, -- the person addressed, or something pertaining to him, being the subject of the jesting", but not harmful. I just appreciate a person that can keep up when I get going playfully. When there is a good flow, I dunno, I just feel more intertwined with the other person and it's easier to flow into sexy time. :)

But I can already see a problem, and I'm just incredibly horny all the time. It's like my brain wants to be a pervert and I have to check these thoughts as I don't want to think stuff like that. It's actually really sad how society casts high libido people in a negative light. Granted I'm a woman in a similar position, it's not like everyone who loves sex is some sex-addicted freakazoid. It sucks that you're in a position where you're clearly tearing yourself down over it. Perversion is to turn …

I'm so sorry you went through all that. Thank you for sharing your experiences. Sounds like you may have been pushed into the scapegoat role of a dysfunctional family dynamic. That can be painful. How are you doing now?

I do. I understand. Thank you for sharing your experiences. I hope that you're healing okay. I've been through a lot too, so I get it. Please don't hesitate to let me know if you need any book recommendations or anything that can help kick start healing. I have many that have profoundly changed my life and helped me work through the same you list above.

Absolutely! Do whatever you're comfortable with. It's mostly just a way for others to share their story if they choose.

Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry you went through that. I, too, lost a lot of money with one of mine too. A LOT. I've known several women like that, so I know it happens. That must have all been so scary. And just exhausting, I'm sure. Are you not able to sue her for pain and suffering? Regardless, I truly hope you find peace soon. Thank you so much for telling me your experience. I read every comment and just really think about it. I appreciate it. Just know, there are a lot of people working really ha…

That makes a lot of sense. Thank you for sharing your experience. I think it really helps a lot of the lurkers here that may be too afraid to speak up feel less alone. I appreciate it. I hope you fully recover and learn to thrive. 🫂

I'm so sorry you went through that. You didn't deserve that. I would say that falls under emotional and spiritual abuse. Seems like a lot of us had a lot of unmet needs as we were growing up. Did you avoid bringing it up because they would treat you like an inconvenience afterward or why did you decide it wasn't worth bringing up afterwards?

If it was a recurring thing than yes. I'm specifically looking for familial trauma, but sometimes it doesn't matter who it is, it still affects us.

I feel every word. I'm so very sorry you went through that. My homes were like that too and I ended up with near identical issues as well. Especially the eggshells thing. That alone can be maddening because you get to a point where you're not even sure how to be, what to say, etc. without a fear of punishment. You can lose yourself in that. How are you doing now? I'm not sure if you're interested, but the Internal Family Systems book might be right up your alley. It helped me in recovery sooo mu…

I'm sorry you went through that. According to my own therapist, living in a constantly dysfunctional environment where there is abuse causes constant mental and body health issues. It takes years of no exposure to fully recover from the nervous systems issues alone. If it's constant, it sticks to you and becomes a part of you even if you don't participate. I had homes like that too. The Body Keeps Score and Internal Family Systems books might benefit you greatly. 🫂

Absolutely. 💕 Bullying is abuse. Edit: Since Reddit's stupid polls don't let you change your answer, I'll manually add your answer on my side.

You don't owe anything extra, but it's a flaw we have that can make us judge an entire person (or in this case, an entire sub group of people) based on a few live examples. It's a place for the rabit holes to start, hense the wisdom so people can learn how to work their minds better and avoid it if they so choose.

Codependent No More is a good one. It's geared towards those around alcoholics, but the base info is good. I hear No More Mr. Nice Guy is good too, but never personally read it. You'll think it's a bit off at first, but Internal Family Systems is really good too. Since you're codependent, you will be vulnerable to narcissistic individuals, so Becoming The Narcissists Nightmare is a really good one to help you learn boundaries and self-protection. I love books, so I have more if you need more aft…

Dr. Robert Glover, author of "No More Mr. Guy", talks about how men typically are before finding things like Red Pill. Since he's a trained professional, he provides better advice that will help with more long term goals on how to undo it and become a better man. Worth the watch.

It's vital for all our personal growths to own our shit. We all fuck up. We all are guilty for treating people poorly occasionally. We all make mistakes. We've all lied at some point. We all get burned out at some point. It's part of the human experience. Owning your shit tells everyone you get that on a deep level and are committed to becoming great.

I think a lot of it has to do with the different versions floating around. Some got a good Red Pill and some got the hateful version. There were good ones going around, but what I've noticed here was a massive shift like 10ish years ago and it really changed for the worst. It went from trying to make relationships better, knowing about personality disorders, how to detect an abuser, fixing yourself and focusing on you, to why women are the worst things on the planet that will kill babies, falsel…
