i would never lose respect for him, especially if he opens up to me. him opening up would make me respect him even more. men opening up is admirable, especially considering how much society likes to criticize, belittle, and yell at men for opening up or talking about their emotions. i want him to know that his emotions, thoughts, and decisions are valid, and that i’ll always respect him for them
