I can agree with a lot of what you guys say. I think some of it is slightly misguided and lots is due to group think (ie when you're surround yourself with everyone chanting something you will believe it vehemently). Quite fair. /MGTOW is a big melting pot at the moment, with monks, men who have been destroyed by the systems, players and incels, so it's hard to form a unique perception of it.

Looking back over the texts, he didn't really say anything mean or nasty, it was more the tone. frankly he was upset and communicating that to me and I didn't like what he was saying so I internalized that as being nasty. Where I live in Canada, the doors don't slam back, so you can just let it go and it slowly closes. That leaves them enough time to grab it and open it themselves if they want to. That way, you don't have to worry about them and you're still not rude, the best of both worlds.
