I'm sure we could discuss this at length, bit this isn't the right time or place 😊

Thanks. I didn't throw out the baby, I kept the values, threw out organised religion and faith on things we can't really know anyway. If I get banned I get banned. Hopefully this helped someone. If I can't post anyway I'm already banned in a way.

Don't know how welcome a womans view is, but here goes: I grew up very religious so I didn't even feel that I could feel sexy, because that felt sinful. Seems 'unicorns' often have some religious upbringing, so I can only assume some of your wives may feel similar. Basically my ASD was so strong I turned off my sexuality all together. Religion made me a submissive, but empty shell. It took me losing my faith to change, an lots of slow progress breaking down my asd. Part of that was masturbation …

I can second this. Went tango dancing last week and danced with at least 3 guys who were shorter or same hight as me. As long as they lead effectively/hold frame it really doesn't matter.

suggest you study Nietzsche. The 'Philosophize this' podcast is an easy start with 3 good episodes on him. This YouTube video is also pretty good and on point. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qUF5OfKVPwo&feature=share It can be especially tough when leaving a religious belief system, to find new purpose. For me personally I might drop into a nihilistic mindset some times, but mostly I find the realisation that life has no purpose quite uplifting, as it means I get to decide for myself. For me, I…

We are travelling, there was something I wanted from the duty free and I told my husband about it, but didn't insist on getting it. When we were finally ablut to board I didn't bring it up again. At the next layover he surprised me by buying something in the same category, not the same thing but a version of it he thought was better suited. Very happy I didn't push it and gave him room give me something. :)

Watched it. The way she explained it it sounded like the guy dealt with it like a Captain.

It seems like most RPM have decided not to respect women in general based on most of the posts there. There are a few exceptions though. I for one am not able to respect most of the men there and would never have considered dating people like that, (or the men they complain about who are "bad guys" who get all the women.) The sidebar clearly states RPM in most cases are the kind of guys RPW should avoid...

And what's the difference between this and r/MRPW ?

I've also been trying to use a note on my phone to write down things. Sometimes he ends up buying the things he wants before I get around to give it for Christmas or a birthday though :(

I really like the idea of a fun class. Just need to think long and hard to make sure he'll actually enjoy it. Maybe climbing or kayaking... Thanks! I really want some wireless headphones myself. He's found a type that's really good for runners that are quite pricey. He suggested it could be something I can use as a carrot for myself for a specific fitness goal. Now I'm thinking maybe we could both get it, but only when both of us reach whatever individual goal we reach. I know it would motivate …

Right? I haven't tried simply replying yes or no yet. A lot of the time he does have a specific idea of what he wants the reply to be, so as long as I don't mind either way I'll try to reflect, but then when I have a really strong reference just try to be clear about what I want. Glad you managed to start communicating better with your husband!

Thanks :) I'm just mad at myself for not having realised all of this sooner. Most of it my husband has tried to explain to me (in other words) before too, I just didn't manage to see it.

He lost about 15lbs this summer and started exercising a little bit even though he thinks it's really boring. I've tried to be supportive but worried about being too supporting somehow making him feel I didn't like him as he was. He's been talking about joining a gym. So now I'm thinking I could give him a gymmembership or something like that. I obviously would really like it if he got more muscle... so why not encourage this development that I've been hoping for for years?

That is really nice! And so good that you manage to step back and let him. Hope it went well!

1 more: we took family pictures since we're only here every couple of years. Some with a camera some with my phone. Normally I would ask what to do with a suggestion. F.ex. "should I get a cable and transfer them to yout parents computer?" He would probably have a different idea, I'd get a bit annoyed he didn't like my suggestion, he would be annoyed I asked at all if I already knew etc. So I said "so what do you think I should do with these photoes?" He says "I don't know, just upload them to g…

Reading the surrendered wife.. My husband has always wanted me to be in charge of the finances. I can see how it would be benefitial if he did it but don't think he would. We also live in my home country and not his and he doesn't like having to deal with these kind of things in my language. We have seperate accounts but share money freely. There's no his or mine as I transfer back and forth as needed. We've pretty much shared aince before we got married without keeping tabs on it. Should I try …
