What was the significance of that end scene? Why the dramatic pause and music?

This is something I had not considered but it stands to reason. Also raised religious but never married, I guess I never got to see it from the other side. Sadly, my trad understanding of Christianity made marriage look like a sour deal to me for quite some time. Now I regret being so scared of "messing up" and getting a divorce. Now I wish I had been less anxious in general, but alas.

Eh, not sure I agree about women getting a free pass in Christianity. The men may have been burdened with leadership over families but women are expected (at least in trad churches) to be slaves. I was raised to believe that I am less than a man, and the women should never assume leadership roles. In addition, I was told that when I married I became my husband's servant and somewhat property and that I could never say no or assert my rights. It was all explained that because of Eve all women mus…

Not gonna lie, my SO self-describes as Alpha and as cringe as that sounds he really does fit the bill. He never heard of the pillosphere and he does not agree with TRP when I told him about it (He was horrified when I told him about shit tests) but his natural dominance and protectiveness remind me of all the natural alphas ever described.

Mirtazapine is technically a drug, sure, but how is it a problem?

Happiness is something I know a lot about since I have been on both sides of that coin. You know what makes people happiest? Getting what they want. I got what I wanted even if it took awhile, and there was no cock carousel or desperation. You say "more women will find themselves in their late 20's and 30's, still out there trying to lock down that ideal man," yes and so? I waited until I got the man I wanted. Why would I settle for someone I don't like? Would you rather I told you a tale of woe…

I'll own this one, and yes I take anti-anxiety meds. I have been on them since I was 24 and it has nothing to do with dating or sex. Many women have anxiety, even married housewives. When men try to use medication as proof that women are whores, it falls flat.

Does the Naked Ape count? Of course it's really old so some of the ideas put forth are outdated. Like lifelong monogamy in the 50s being evidence that the pair bond is too strong for people to get divorced.

What answer do you want to hear? That women are spiders sucking men dry? That women are thieves? Or that men trust their assets to their wives?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/19 06:35 PM

Hidden assets are frowned on during divorce, and yes they are always revealed and they will be divvied up. Whoever did the hiding will look like a tool. As for the palimony and whatnot, that is fringe of the fringe. Not significant.

I have seen Americans do exactly this: husband is lousy with money so he leaves all that hassle to the wife to figure out. She controls all their money and writes the checks and files the taxes. She earns some herself but all the bills are in her name.

Don't be silly. In many cultures, such as Japan, the husband earns all the money and then hands it over to the wife for all household expenses. She spends his money, yes, who do you think buys all the toilet paper?

Eh, my answers will be skewed by heavy religious affiliation. The conservative right-wing Christians I dated were not any better looking or more successful than the few liberals I dated, but they were less tolerant of my gay friends. I will just lay out my answer like this: Conservatives: more racism, more sexism, but generally dress better. Very hard rules about gender roles and my "place" and all of them wanted kids. Interesting question, since I know a guy or two in RL who have done this and are quite happy people. They have great friends and fun hobbies and work on cars and travel a lot and have all their own resources. They are truly living the dream. One is asexual and the other one is pretty much gay. They have no grudge against women.

I have no idea if marriage is a shit deal because I have never married. Divorce and assets are not day to day life, like sharing a bed and fighting over the air conditioner or cleaning up the dishes after three days of ignoring them or driving to Rite Aid at 3 am for diarrhea medication because your spouse has food poisoning. I also don't know what's it's like to have a lifelong commitment where I cannot morally leave any time I want. But the upsides to marriage like someone who will take care o…

Who hates men? Is that what you thought women meant when they complain? Oh kiddo, gals just like to vent as much as you do...almost no one hates the opposite sex. But to your point about capitalism and society- I have yet to meet a gal who wants to marry a STEM Lord. All the women I know married normal, punch clock men. Even the ones who married down. Except that the women who wanted to be single did exactly what they set out to do. Even Octomom in her latest interview owned up to being a happily celibate asexual who just wanted kids. And she did all that with frozen sperm. She met her goals despite what everyone else thought of her.

So people Going Their Own Way because society is gynocentric cannot be "wrong". But by your logic, I could Go My Own Way even though I am a woman and still blame society for making this necessary. Ignore the words and look for the emotion/tone. Then ask why would someone feel that way? Except you could apply this to men answering stinging questions as well. You could apply this to anyone being asked "So how often do you punch your dog in the face?"

I have seen the shift in more than one gal who never wanted kids ever, but then she falls in love with her dream man and suddenly she is picking baby names. The shift is due to attraction.

Truth. Some women never feel any maternal urges at all until they meet the right man, or he convinces her to want kids. It all varies.

So if I told you that female nature is to buy pretty pink things and light scented candles and to coo over puppies and decorate the house in lace would you believe me? If I told you that female nature is to throw herself into complete self-sacrifice even to the detriment of her own health in order to make her man happy would you believe that? Notice how these attributes differ from TRP. They are actual female nature that applies to most women yet they are positive so they are ignored. Even when …

You know that "identity" you show in public is not real. The one that gets complimented, the one that gets approached. What would that guy say if he saw you without the make up? Questions like this begin to creep in her head and make her doubt her own beauty and she becomes reliant upon the make up. I read this and cannot believe you are female. Women know what they look like with or without makeup, have you never been to a swimming pool? Have you never never seen women at a water park? They kno…

/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/19 06:28 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/19 06:22 PM

Well, at the risk of revealing too much personal info and sounding like mess, it hurt my feelings a lot when my best friends ran me down and told me I was nothing special. I internalized a lot of it until my boyfriend asked to see a photo of these women and I showed it to him. He instantly spat "It all makes sense now!" and told me they were putting me down because they themselves were unattractive. Looking back, he was right. One of them had even admitted it.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/19 05:48 PM

I ran this experiment myself years ago you see. Most men do not like being approached and asked out unless they are passive by nature. Passive men do not make great partners. Once I figured this out I stopped.

Men like to "break balls" with each other for fun but women are trying to undermine the other gal's confidence so that she will stay in her place. I am not saying this is a wonderful trait, oh no. I had a couple friendships like this and it hurt a great deal.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/19 05:37 PM

when i was at the height of my attractivenes to men i spent hours crying in the mirror over my intrasexual beauty marker flaws. Truth. And I did the same thing. Also, men really don’t appreciate how openly a woman’s appearance is discussed in everyday conversation. Good or bad. My own grandmother was a mean girl talking about "fat stumpy legs" on her daughter in law.

I often see people thinking a woman is dating someone out of her league but she believes him to be the best. Love is blind.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/19 05:29 PM

Eh, it's done in a way with plausible deniability so that the called out "You were mean to me!" the other girl can claim she was just kidding around. Until it goes too far and the mean girl admits that she was jealous and that is why she made those cutting remarks. Then the two of them cry over it and make up. Until the next time, of course.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/19 05:24 PM

It would be interesting to see the results if all women started behaving this way, being masculine, approaching and picking up on men. After a couple weeks of novelty, men would complain that they want something more traditional and reserved.

Are you female? Let me explain how mean girls can be when not performing for YouTube. The viciousness of the female social matrix is there to keep low-ranking girls down and stay down, while bolstering their own high rank with others like themselves. But even with friends there is a competitive barb born of jealousy. She gets asked out all the time because she is prettier? Best to run her down in a playful manner. Remind her that she ain't hot shit. If your friend is already ugly you will do the…

Women are trained to not be "vain" from an early age. Fashion magazines regularly remind them that they are never pretty enough, and it is ground in by their female friends all the time who playfully run down each other's appearance to keep it "real" and most insidiously, to keep her beneath herself. It is a massive ego-killing competition that never ends, and no one ever agreed to join. But here we are. Nonstop judgments by everyone we meet, thankfully most of it is silent. Of course women have…

But her standards are not just for good personality and cute face but income. In her list of must-haves she is insisting on a certain wage and there are practical reasons for her to want this. If she is a 6/10 as she claims she might be able to get that guy, or maybe not. This is the exact opposite of how I look for a mate, but she in allowed to have preferences.

What kind of video game?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/19 07:55 PM

Eh, YMMV. Some gals have no problem in later years...and as the OP stated, it is about perceived age more than actual age. So if she looks young and fit she will do fine.

20 years of observation. Are you twenty years old?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/19 04:08 PM

You should not make assumptions about another person's private life, that is my point. Your comments to Le Factory Babe were that she would become abusive to her man, after giving him the ol' dead bedroom of course. It was unfair and bad logic.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/19 03:30 PM
1

Uh...you are spending all your time on the Dead Bedrooms subreddit so you think all relationships follow the same trajectory. This more than anything else is confirmation that you need to spend less time on Reddit and more time being happy. Or else you will follow the baseline trajectory of all sad lonely people and end up shooting up your place of work. See the flaw in your logic?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/19 03:22 PM
1

But why would you assign this to HER specific relationship?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/19 03:10 PM
2

I think what you are seeing is the Wall being presented as "women over 33 are washed up hags who will never get love" instead of this science graph. When BP reacts to the Wall they are reacting to the revenge fantasy of women being forced into degrading circumstances due to age.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/19 02:55 PM

So she becomes abusive? Le Factory Babe?

It also offends me as an artist because the joke is not played correctly in the second panel. Her expression should be tired, and her voice should be low and whispered. The joke does not work because her expression and voice are exaggerated. Annoying.

It's weird that anyone would want to expire the entire concept of marriage, because in one generation it would Boing! right back into place. People want marriage, that 's why it exists. If humans wanted to be a giant swingers club we would have made the happen and stuck with it.

Speaking as a woman who landed a Chad, what makes you think Chad is bad? When you dudes online talk about Chad you want him to be a felon with neck tattoos and a wife better shirt who wipes the engine grease off onto her nice new drapes.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/19 02:37 AM
4

Exactly, manipulation is a negative tactic. No one never proudly declares "My boyfriend manipulated me into sleeping with him!" with a broad smile and expect her gal pals to congratulate her on landing such a weasel. Likewise no dude would ever brag with a wolfish grin about how his wife conned him into marriage by pretending to be in love. Its obviously bad when in happens to YOU so how can it be mortally OK to do it to someone else? Golden Rule

Never in my life had a ONS and never would. The very name implies a one night performance and that just sounds germy and embarrassing. So clearly a small percentage of women are having these, and I asked my friends who did. Their answers: it was just sex. Nothing more. The next day the guy tried to claim she was his girlfriend and she had to let him down. Point being, the type of gals who have ONS are not trying for LTR.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/19 03:50 AM

Not sure why anyone would ask this, but I can respond with- No Girl Thinks About This. Women have their own problems, ones that include shyness and rejection so I am not sure why you think we are all "Tee hee, my day is filled with presents and cake!" Honestly dude, you are sounding more depressed every week.

TGP tried to tell me the other day that this is some kind of female social signalling thing, but he couldn't be more wrong. It's like a deep innate nesting feeling where having a clean, attractive home to live in just feels good. YES. Many times yes. And to add on, there is a hard-wired compulsion to tidy up in most women- like popping bubble wrap it feels satisfying and warm. You get emotional fulfillment from having a Before and After image in your head. Like on Hoarders.

Yes a messy house makes me feel gross. I want to compulsively wipe and straighten and de-clutter when I am in that environment no matter if I am appreciated for it or not. It's like that episode of King of the Hill where Kahn's mom (who is a retired maid) takes such joy in cleaning Bill's house because it will take weeks to do it. I. Must. Clean.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/19 03:27 AM

I am religious and not mad at this. People are complicated machines, and what works for one couple will not work for You but hey, it’s still wise to make your boyfriend wait a few dates before sex. How else will she avoid players?

I think that women are more favored/protected is because subconsciously women are seen as the weaker sex and so there’s some sort of instinctive need to defend them. What I’m trying to say is it’s sadly biologically more than anything else and the only way to break this pattern would be to condition people starting from a young age. No offense, but you sound pretty young and inexperienced if you think women are coddled in the working world.

The way it works is: not many old men and lots of old ladies. Men die off sooner. The few men who are still randy then have their pick of the old gals (hope for the lonely here) and pair off quickly with whatever dame is interested. Most old ladies have zero desire for sex so the few that do? Get laid.

I will change your view. A virgin marrying a virgin will be equally inexperienced, and on a level playing field. The gal is probably religious and conservative and will not branch swing. Together they form a team and raise kids and this is what our grandparents did and their expectations were very different. No one can compare sexual thrills with no other frame of reference and no one can divorce. If a man is a 5 and a virgin he can definitely snag a 5 virgin as well. You meet at church where th…

As someone who has always been the initiator of breakups, I always made sure I was Done. I had to reach a level or disgust or eye-rolling annoyance that finally outweighed all the good in the relationship, and there is a switch in many women's brains that flips when her man has disappointed her too many times. That switch ends any warm loving feelings and once off, it cannot be flipped back on...so you are Done.

You are seriously comparing The Red Pill - a specific subcommunity dedicated to sexism - to TwoXChromosomes - a general community for women? To be fair, I only hang out in a few subreddits and the Woman subreddits are not terribly interesting to me. I know all about women and I have been one my entire life. I hang out on subreddits where men pipe up so that I can learn about men. Clearly I have no brothers to enlighten me. So no, to answer your question: I am not comparing the two since I never …

You are twenty years old. The world is just opening up to you and you will have countless adventures and heartaches and you will laugh until you cry and you will meet lots of men. Lots. In fact a thirty year old man who has been there, done that, has nothing in common with you and you would get SO bored with him. Hang out with people your own age and have fun with life. This is not the time to worry about one guy.

What? Have you been on all these man-hating sites but never seen the woman-hate over across the tracks? When I first discovered the Red Pill my jaw literally dropped at how hateful it was towards women. Over and over the contempt was repeated by countless men under safe anonymous handles. It was truly astonishing just how these men really felt about my gender, and if I had actually believed that was how ALL men felt? I would hide from society forever. Seriously. A friend of mine went through a really nasty divorce to a bad man, and after that her best friend went through a similar divorce to a guy who did her wrong, and together they decided that they hated men. Men were all pigs to her after the divorce. It is emotional self-defense and it passed in a couple years, now she loves men again and is remarried to a better guy. It is perfectly normal to form "hatred" after being hurt, but don't make a life of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/19 04:33 PM

What do you mean by justified? Prisoners of War will hate anyone who looks like their captors for years after the war ends. Maybe forever. Some soldiers coming home from The Pacific Theatre in WW2 would spit on Japanese people they saw innocently walking around. Even though I am against racism, I can see why a POW would do this.

In all my life, they guys that got called "creep" earned it. Maybe things are different in You-ville.

You do realize that if a gorgeous Thor lookalike is at the kid park drooling after children he still looks just as creepy.

You know that people are not rational, right? We pick partners based on emotion and some men are turned on by tough women who take no crap.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/19 02:49 AM

That just sounds like narcissism.

No kidding, look how they tear into any gal who replies honestly.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/19 07:48 PM

Yup. I remember seeing this dynamic play out in shocking ways. Not something I discuss often because the people are now dead, but I knew some marriages like you describe and it was horrifying how beaten down the husband became. I could not forget that. One guy had to sleep in his car to get away from his screaming wife- just picture that. I know we get accused of being "Team Woman" here on PPD but I am actually aligned against jerks of any stripe.

It was the ice age that killed everything. There is a curious theory in science that we never left the ice ages. Having snow in the winter and polar ice caps year round was not a thing when dinosaurs roamed, yet we now accept it as normal since we ourselves are products of the ice ages.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/19 06:59 PM

Definitely not the majority. But look around in your own life and you will see these couples: brash, loud wives with meek submissive husbands. It's not my thing at all but people like what they like.

No, the part about defending your man and pretending to other people that he is awesome. Very common. As for rewriting history, that knows no gender.

Men are not going to like this, but there is a type for the strong ball-breaking women out there. I personally know a couple guys who prefer domineering women and I assume they learned this from mom, but it's not something they can change about themselves. They WANT a bossy bitch. One of them was very upfront about it.

I don't know what's in the water in Brazil that women there have no remorse or responsibility, according to your comment. All the women I know had to clean up major messes when they got divorced and you wanna talk responsibility? They paid and paid for their mistakes. Went into debt, you name it. This trope about only men being left high and dry has got to stop.

I can believe that. People need to be honest with themselves and what they can snare. But play along for a minute here: what if there was an island where men were all 400 pounds and the women had to choose among that lot? Are they choosing average men? For that place, yes, but by any other metric no. All they would need to do is leave for the mainland to see better looking men, right? But what if ALL men even on the mainland grew to 400 pounds? Are we supposed to recalibrate? Can we just admit t…

Then we vote with our feet and go elsewhere, why is this hard? If I see nothing but ugly men on a dating site, I either pick a different dating site or I meet men somewhere else. Not all shops are equal.

OK, assuming Good Faith and everything being said here is true...this is a man in pain. He was carrying a torch for this woman for years and now he permanently blew his chances with her. She was his Dream Girl and now he has to live with the fact HE scared her off forever. That SUCKS. He will try to overcompensate for that heartache with other women but it won't work. Eventually he will piss off any gal he dates because its obvious. No one wins.

Weirdly i had no problem getting the most attractive man on Match. We are still together. And yes, he was in the top ten percentile.

Yes, absolutely. Online dating is not representational.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/19 04:28 PM

Wrong. Have yourself go on Match as a woman and you will see the men there. It looks like a prison lineup.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/19 04:27 PM

Nope, that's not it. When I did online dating the vast sweeping majority of men available were Unattractive. I am not being picky, just real. My friends warned me it would be this way and emphasized that online dating is like picking through the sales bin. It has nothing to do with women at all. Men on dating sites are mostly homely. The end.

And we are quite happy :) I am telling you there is hope. I am telling you that one day you will look back on this phase of your life and be very thankful you did not give up.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/19 07:40 PM

Um, why though? I could google one right now, but why? It would be easy and say the same thing I am saying right here. Most people are happy. Most people are in relationships. It's not Ecstacy and it's not ten superbowls but it's better than solitude.

You want a study? A Confirmed Source that proves most people are not standing on a chair in the basement with a rope tied to the rafters? It's like asking for Proof that the sun shines. The only people who are drowning in self-defeating intrusive thoughts like nihilism are people who do not socialize enough. Once you open up and ask real people what their lives are like, you will learn amazing things that they survived and how they overcame.

mine just happened to move to my city ARGH that is the worst! Mine is still within driving distance. My dad was getting so angry over the stalking he wanted to take it to the police, which would not have done much. Stalking laws in my state are pretty clear: there must be a physical threat, verbal threat, or them showing up at your home or work. In your case you have that and you can get him on record.

Do you want to be the laughing guy with lots of friends who sleeps well at night? Do you want to get better inside? Figure out who you WANT to be and pursue that path. Side note, I understand having rage and not being able to let go of someone hurting you. It made me so hateful inside and I decided not to be that person. I had to forg…

I swear PPD is genuinely unhealthy for dudes. I think the lonely and unwanted have nothing else to calibrate, so they believe whatever the internet tells them. If Reddit says they peak at 35 it must be true. Before the internet got huge people just lived life and figured things out.

Ah Dash be not so salty, be the one to laugh in the face of adversity. I know of which I speak because I fell hard for a man who was the most gorgeous, the most alpha creature and I had to have him and it took me over a year of dating to even notice that he is shorter than me. I honestly did not see it.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/19 03:36 AM

If you cannot imagine short or plain men finding love then you have not lived on this planet long enough.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame was set in the Middle Ages but written in the 19th century. The Little Mermaid was Hans talking about being gay and in love with a man. J. M. Barrie was asexual and never consummated his marriage. Your point is what?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/19 10:48 PM
3

No, imagine your most painful unrequited crush on someone you have ever felt. The obsession with every detail, their hair, their smell, their smile- the deep longing of wanting to be with that person even if you had to sacrifice everything to have them. That you would give up your family and your money and your health just to run away with that person. That is what women feel too.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/19 10:45 PM
2

Exactly. Reddit makes it seem like everyone is one step removed from Crazy Hermit In The Woods but people are doing fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/19 10:42 PM

LOL man I needed that laugh!

That women are not capable of loving except for opportunistic gain is something a broken man might claim out of his own frustrated rage. It is a coping mechanism.

No one should be taking dating advice from Richard Cooper. Listen to him talk about cars all day, or how to start up your own business. He is bitter about his failures with women and projects that onto the entire gender. So what? Everyone gets their heart broken, everyone has cried in deep visceral pain at a love that died. You live long enough and no one is spared the flip side of the coin, the side os love that is grief. Humans love emotionally and humans mourn when that love is ripped away.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/19 08:46 PM

No.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/19 08:40 PM

I mean a lot of people who engage in same-sex sexual stuff are depressed about it and this is higher in places where there is a higher stigma to it Excellent point. Before current society accepted people as gay, young gay men were at a high rate of suicide. It was the stigma and not the sex itself that drove them to self harm.

A few years, but I left him and then everyone came out with their real opinions. "I thought you were afraid of being alone" or "What did you see in him?" followed by approval of my new boyfriend. There is more to this story, but low self esteem is not rare.

/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/19 05:34 PM

Exactly! So glad someone gets this. I am tired of hearing Incels complain about women dating assholes because they themselves would never abuse anyone, when my own memory has examples of nerd boys turning into abusers and nerd girls turning psychotic. Why would they keep parroting this trope about Chad being the only one?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/19 05:32 PM
4

I have witnessed both. The weird belief on this sub that abusers must be big burly men is...odd.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/19 04:48 PM
3

Yeah, notice how they repeatedly conflate "Chad" with "asshole" and never think that nerdy shy men can be violent abusers. No, a geek must be a sheep apparently. In my own lifetime I have seen the most unlikely candidates reveal their awful abusive colors and you would be surprised. Sometimes it's not Chad.

I hate no fault divorce because of what happened to my sister when her husband cheated and abandoned their marriage. Cute how you slipped in that fallacy about men getting "fucked over harder" in divorce but you know what? Doesn't matter. Real people get hurt in divorces and the division of assets is the least of the pain. You really think some damn house or a big screen TV is more important than the death of a 22 year marriage?

So I want the best punk rocker, or the best snowboarder, or the best interpretive artist? You can still see how this is a vast swath of people and not all women competing for the same "chad" snowboarding up on Mt. Olympus. The number of women competing for each niche "chad" is not a majority and therefore we all have types we can get.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/19 05:19 PM

People are supremely good at getting what they actually want, I have said this many times here. When properly motivated they always find a way to get (name it) so in the context of your query it remains a matter of how badly she wants to keep her man. Is she in love? Then she is super motivated to improve herself and modify her behavior to his liking. If she is not emotionally invested in him, why should she care?

Unrequited love used to invoke pity for the person experiencing it, now its outright hate. It depends how it is handled. Whenever I had an unrequited crush on someone, I did not stalk them or rage at their rejection. Women who pine for men who don't want them are seen as unhinged or desperate or "boy crazy" or any other thing. It is not flattering.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/19 04:44 AM

how do you make new friends as an adult? You have a tough road, but it can be done. Start with your favorite hobbies and think about meeting those people.

Human beings are extremely adept at getting what they want, be in heroin or alcohol or sure, marriage. If what you prioritize is Marriage and not Love or Hotness your best "strategy" is to stop caring about emotions or looks. If what you actually desire is not an arranged marriage or a mail order bride but LOVE that is a different question entirely.

Is that what you think happens to most people who are not red pill?

The general story on PPD is that women marry for status But in RL we all marry for love.

/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/19 06:26 PM

If you are a rockstar like Prince you can cold approach while wearing a bath towel and rollers in your hair. No one disputes this. If you look like Screech people will wonder why you are talking to them in the first place. Yes there is a difference but it won't be "I am calling the cops if you don't leave now" or anything dramatic. /r/PurplePillDebate25/01/19 04:06 AM

Yes, and TRP overestimates to what degree women are mind-readers. She somehow is 20 years old and knows all about human psychology? She can read into the friend's intentions? How does she know if he is pining after her, isn't that rather conceited of her to even think such a thing? This is how young women think, not "Oooh what else can I get out of him?"

"More often than not, love is little more than wanting someone for what they can provide." If you are referring to the emotional reaction in the brain which involves dopamine and oxytocin i.e. "love" then no. Attraction on this level is due to uncontrollable factors such as disposition and childhood conditioning and is not so pragmatic at ALL. People regularly fall in love with a pattern of traits that is beyond their conscious reckoning and it might be the gal reminds him of his mom as he does …

/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/19 02:46 AM

But that is the whole point. AF/BB is fake- women date losers and weirdos and omegas and felons and it's all done when they are young and dumb and don't know better. Then they wise up and get better men after dumping the jerk. It flies in the face of red pill because it's people's actual lives and not some trope.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/19 02:07 AM

What makes you think the "asshole" boyfriends were Chads or alphas? Almost every gal I know dated a couple jerks when still young and naive, and you would be hard-pressed to describe these men as studs. They were geeks and nerds and yes, still assholes. I really wonder about some of the strange assumptions here. Edit spelling

I can tell you what happens to all people who live long enough to enjoy old age, and it makes no practical difference how they got there. Plenty were married and then well, they are alone again and live just as alone as the lifelong bachelors. Or maybe their children visit once a year. Or not. Everyone has their own path and you need to pick yours and be happy with your choice, irrespective of the outcome. That is the only way to live well.

They all seem to be married to picky eating men who get laid off and depressed doesn't sound like much fun to me. I picked up that same vibe. They are trying really really hard to submit to Captain Ding Dong.

The best way to get over an ex or a crush is to fall for someone else. If he falls for you, I promise the ex will be the farthest thing from his mind. But if he continues to pine and moan for her, dump him.

I went to a college where there were 4 girls for every guy, but it was Christian and so there was no hookup culture. The result was that I found a boyfriend somewhere off campus rather than pick among the not-exciting men at my school. College is not a remote island.

I find these threads genuinely misleading, but then another gal here explained what is really being said: the men are mad that women are having sex with other people. Oh! So now I get it- all this talk of responsibility and accountability had nothing to do with paying your utility bills on time and was just about not putting out.

/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/19 08:00 PM

Women don't love you, the person, they love the things you provide. At any point you stop or are incapable of providing those things, she will stop loving you. Dude. Step away from the internet. Don't you know any happy couples? Old marrieds that stay together over decades thru thick and thin? You don't think hubby lost his job a few times or she had to take care of him ever? People love as a pair bond and that bond has already been studied and documented and weirdly, it's not gendered.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/19 05:37 PM
9

It's strange that they even make a distinction between male and female love is this regard, since anyone can look at gay couples to see how men love and how women love when they are not bending over backwards to please the opposite sex. But they throw all that out as irrelevant.

So if those are truly your only options, why bother? Just avoid dames.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/19 04:21 PM

This. is what I have observed too. Either they are just done with men completely following a divorce, or they don't want to settle and find singleness to be just fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/19 12:00 AM
1

OK, this is three different Reddit names responding to me now on the thread. To whom did I throw any ad hominem and just where is it?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/19 04:03 AM

Pal i have no reason to believe you are arguing from a position of intellectual honesty. All you are doing is throwing invectives my way and presuming motives i do not hold. Give a benefit of the doubt- i gave no cause for “ bull” accusations. Nor have you disproven my assertion that women are treated just as badly in divorce or anything involving California law. Focus. What did i say that was untrue?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/19 01:38 AM

Of the women I know who divorced their husbands, let's see: adultery, abuse, adultery, adultery, felony convictions, gay, adultery, and child molestation. Of the men I know who divorced their wives: adultery, mental illness, hmmm...come to think of it those are the only two I know initiated by the husband. You are correct that women are more likely to file, but they are usually at the end of their tethers.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/19 04:25 AM

So perhaps amend your qualifications to exclude any gal with female family members who are recreationally divorced. Because all the ones I know divorced their husbands for VERY good reasons.

Uh, ok.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/19 03:35 AM

men lose more in a divorce than women. OK, which men? Do you know someone personally who got cleaned out? Was this in a no-fault state? Did the court say "Gosh, that ladee person deserves the whole enchilada, shame we can only give her half"? You are scared of vampires and fairies and not real things. I know real people who had real divorces and believe me, that state cut everything in half mathematically and did not favor the women. Custody determines child support payments, and mothers usually…
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/19 03:29 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/19 03:21 AM

Dude, do you even live in this state? Do you know anyone who has gone through a divorce in California? Gay couples? Settle down sparky. There is no vast conspiracy in the courts, most men do not WANT primary custody of their own kids.

Assuming everything/almost everything TRP philosophy suggests about female nature (that women are manipulative, calculating and utilitarian when it comes to relationships by nature) and about how society treats women more favourably compared to men to be true, That is a lot of assumptions. Like I would assume based on this list that OP is pretty young and inexperienced.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/19 01:49 AM

The state divides marital property 50-50 regardless of gender. Women have a lot to forgive too, and are not always at fault in a divorce. I live in a no-fault state and wow, does that ever get abused.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/19 01:42 AM

Funny story- I had no idea what the Shades of Gray books were all about so I bought the one by Jasper Fforde about a science fiction future where everyone is colorblind and society is stratified by which colors you can see. Good book.

Women in their 20s who are slutty and women in their 30s who aren't married yet are the craziest segments of the population, hands down. Eh, I have known far more men on disability for mental illness than young women. Also, how many women are actually slutty? Statistics show less sex and fewer sexual partners than ever for millennials.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/18 05:33 PM
2

And people tend to select partners based on their childhood experiences, so...red pill confirmed, amirite?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/18 05:29 PM

That is my understanding as well. We even had a post here asking about TRP relationships with their moms and they all answered how negative it was. Seems obvious.

I think you are reading comments by different people. But even if the same users are making both claims, think of the context: who is taking joy from this? Happy successful folks? No, it is a universal bad juju to mock people down on their luck especially if you yourself are flying high. Anyone taking joy in the defeat of anonymous harmless others is themself a miserable sod.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/18 05:07 PM

Just...astonishing. Like this poor girl has a family and friends who are genuinely concerned that she is being used, but he wants to humiliate her more.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/18 05:23 AM

But that is the point: I am not divorced BECAUSE I specifically avoided it. Regarding marriage as a sacred institution means taking it VERY seriously and duh, I took it so seriously that I never got married since divorce would be this huge sin.

Eh, maybe...there are ways that nature says Do Not Touch. In many cases a loner who keeps to himself and collects crap and lives with Anime posters all over the walls but no actual friends is providing clear danger signs to women. Yes I am describing someone I know. Yes he self-describes as a sociopath. Yes he was stalking me. But he tried to claim he was rescuing me...see the problem?

Bloops tend to not be bitter because everything worked out fine for them and women tend to not be bitter because everything generally works out fine for them and nothing's ever their fault Or...people who have survived abuse and mistreatment don't always develop grudges against half the human race?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/18 02:43 AM
2

bp's are tragically sheltered Disney kids who've never known relationship hardship. Say what.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/18 02:40 AM
6

This. Teenagers (including myself at that age) do not have the wetware to make logical choices and it's not their fault. Just do school and avoid jail until you are a few years older and it will be like looking back on a dream. EDIT for wording
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/18 05:35 PM

Some of us are still religious. I realize this is the minority on Reddit but many people do hold to marriage as a God-ordained institution.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/18 04:31 PM
2

But what if you live in a No Fault state so there is no other type of divorce? Even if hubby cheated up a storm, no one cares when they divide the assets.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/18 04:30 PM

Your logic is airtight! All women are like the ones in your head!
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/18 02:46 AM

All men are bisexual or gay, how can they be homophobes?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/18 02:44 AM

she is just not attracted to him any more, then her body is going to be screaming at her not to give in. When he touches her to try to mess around and get her warmed up, it will feel creepy, and when she lets him have sex with her, it will feel like rape. This person gets it.

What do you see in my comments that could valorize anyone?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/18 06:34 PM

Is this supposed to be a Gotcha? Everyone knows about Sanger already. Do you not take your medicine because the person who gave you the pills is a jerk?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/18 06:16 PM
1

But you see the fallacy right? A man could invent a pill or a car and if it is illegal to use it is if no use to me
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/18 05:50 PM
1

You’re a sorcerer! My car is also not the reason I have a license to drive.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/18 05:45 PM

What a depressing start to the day.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/18 04:34 PM

Your point?

Either that or male models.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/18 05:57 PM

O-0. Oh that is bad.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/18 04:18 PM

I miss Priene.

I have witnessed women who abuse their husbands and in both cases the poor guy had such low self esteem that he became a whipped puppy. One guy would sleep in his car just to get away from her screaming at him all night. Sad. He finally left and she overdosed on drugs. Still tragic because she had a daughter.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/18 03:57 PM

You got it.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/18 03:34 PM

There is more to it that would shock people, weird things like the shape of human penises being evidence for a sexual promiscuity that would make even modern people blush.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/18 04:36 AM
2

Ah man, anyone can get dragged down by this I deleted my account and this is my new one...and no one even cares who I was before. And no one doxxed me. Please take some time off and not online...that is what I did so It might work in your case. I went out of the country and experienced how wonderful the world really is outside my head.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/18 04:25 AM

Where do you live?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/18 11:55 PM

I agree that no one wants to feel shame, but suppose everyone started shaming you personally for choices you made long ago- say you had belonged to the Communist Party or you had dated a woman who was later convicted of murder. Would you want to pay for your bad judgment for the rest of your life even though you were not morally bad for what you did?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/18 11:53 PM

Good video, thanks for linking it!

I'll take it!

There was a famous murder case where one of those men killed his Russian mail-order bride. He was probably like you describe.

Damn Sam, that's bad behavior. Are you in America?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/18 08:53 PM

Most women are not misandrists. Paranoia about violent crime is a result of news media fear-mongering. Healthy people love the opposite sex and want to be with them, or hook up with their own gender. This is an age of miracles.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/18 08:51 PM

What would true equality look like to you?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/18 08:49 PM

Yikes, she sounds like a sociopath. Or a criminal. I am trying to think of any woman I know like this, and I can only come up with one.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/18 08:46 PM
1

Do you know any actual woman who did this?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/18 08:29 PM

Mmmm mmmm that alcoholic I dated was so yummy!

/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/18 04:59 PM

If it were me as that woman I would start coughing and sneezing and complaining that I had diarrhea from our lovely time in Haiti. Then I would pretend I am hard of hearing and make him repeat everything LOUDLY followed by my "What? What?"
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/18 04:57 PM

How do you know?

Pal, we all grew up with the same sit coms and movie tropes and dumb jokes about dames and broads and skirts. Women were either floozies or vixens, take your pick. Unless you were the ugly neighbor. Also crying over every little thing... I gotta say, women were NOT cast in a flattering light.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/18 04:28 AM

I spent all my BetaBux on the Dark Web already. Gotta invest in the onion field, right? But seriously- no one outside the web believes in this theory.

This woman gets it.

In this context? It means they find someone they like enough to go the distance, not give up their goals.

The 80/20 scenario is not RL. Most people find partners and settle down. Most people are not Chad.

How old are you?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/18 04:26 PM

This study has already been done on transgender people. The results were that MtF found out how women's opinions are dismissed in professional settings, and the FtM found out that people glared at them and avoided them on public transportation but in professional settings they were treated like god-kings.

When you spend your whole life moving from place to place, as I have from early childhood onward, what are roots? What is a hometown? What is stable? These words are hard to implement.

This "ghost" needs to learn the Eastern philosophy of less is more. She piled on all the accomplishments and it still felt hollow...which is what we Americans have been saying for years. So much success and so little happiness- it's a cultural problem we fight as people move all over the map and no one grows roots. I am one who knows. The heart of her issue in loneliness and that is the current zeitgeist...poor gal needs friends.

People watching videos will not always care about the performances. No kidding. My mind wanders when I watch maudlin productions but that has nothing to do with RL. This is bad science.

Outside of the manosphere, real women go to work and pay bills and never abuse anyone or manipulate their loved ones. It never even crosses their minds to attack or use their men because why would anyone do that? Most women are just like you. But how boring, right? The hot mess appeals to you and Nice Nancy can go sit somewhere else. You are choosing crazy mean girls because...that's your thing. Maybe you learned this at home, no idea. All things being equal, a relationship is much happier than …

No I met my SO on Match years ago when I was inundated with attention
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/18 07:52 PM

Women get lonely for the same reason all adults do-where do you make friends once college is over? Men are just as friendless but they don't mention it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/18 04:48 PM
3

All the single men in the middle aged bracket are divorced. They were snatched up young, sure.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/18 04:29 PM

I am older and I was drowning in Match messages that I most certainly did not initiate. But my SO is in his 50s so this is relevant.

If she's been through a western university, she's had her share of drunken hookups she forgot. If she did a Europe trip, she totally got her brains fucked out in the gym washroom at the dorm I guess you never meet religious women, or nerds.

Maybe believe what we say about our experiences?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/18 03:51 AM

Are. you. kidding. All the time women here tell you that they are fine with dating down or dating men slightly shorter and you call us outliers.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/18 03:48 AM
1

Nope that isn’t it. Women and men experience the exact same neurotransmitters in our brains and there is nothing mystical. If you not feel these chemicals and they do not cause you to act against your selfish nature they you do not have them. Everyone who can fall in love and go through the roller coaster ride knows how insane it makes us and that is limerance. The pair bonding is love. The end.

Online dating works, what more needs to be said?

YMMV. Some people experience limerence for over two years.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/18 05:36 PM

Or monks. Think about all the second born sons who were pretty much forced to join the monastery and there created such wonderful things or kept the literature from going extinct. Monks served a valuable function in the old days, and were not disposable. The entire idea that non-breeding humans are surplus is wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/18 05:34 PM
1

It is an Incel belief that x number of men are disposable. Like, being single and not fathering a child means they are useless...which makes no sense because seriously?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/18 11:32 PM

If you were raised religious you did indeed hear this. Men are the head over women, wives must submit and obey, women are the glory of men but men are the glory of God. The message is clear.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/18 04:15 PM

Turned 40, realized that the hot girls I used to go to high school with and used to dream about are old and ugly now. Turned 40, realized that most people did not age well. Oh well. The worst parts of aging have nothing to do with looks, my man.

You are going to LOVE the Alaskan cruise. Mine taught me how wonderful the world truly is when we leave the familiar behind.

Women approaching the wall are thirsty for settling down. Eh, some are and some are going through their first divorce. Most of the people I know who got married in their 20s are now divorced, and none of those people are eager to try another marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/18 02:23 AM

Yet I know a few women who married low-value men despite being average or pretty themselves. Sometimes it's not SMV but the mental programming from early childhood that determines who you find hot. I was simply floored by my friend's choice of spouse, I mean WOW.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/18 03:25 PM
13

Oh pfffft, if an Absolute Hottie with no job but amazing personality threw herself at you, your requirement list would vanish like the silliness that it is. Same with women's pickiness. Everyone has a phony baloney "list" that gets pitched when a 9 or 10 smiles at them.
