TL;DR at the bottom

The post is not about TRP being wrong or false, it is about underlining some phenomenons that make TRP look "true", but would make TRP look true even if it wasn't.

Firstly, the correlation between adopting TRP and having more success with women :
Many redpillers give virtue to TRP teachings because it works so the theory behind must be true, AWALT,the AF/BB dynamic, hypergamy, ...right ?

However, TRP is telling you to work out, pursue a great career, dress well, get hobbys, and be a better version of yourself. At the same time it encourages you to accept rejection, and keep working your social skills by talking with new people/women.
Applying all of that, it is more than natural that you will get more girls than before, you basically made yourself better in everything. In addition you will get experience in talking to women by training more and accepting rejection, so you'll get better just by your own experience and learn about things to do by yourself, without TRP being a factor.

The message here is that your new success with women does not prove the validity of the underlying RP model of the SMP, alpha/beta etc.. that success is caused by many factors you all added at the same time and thinking that all of them are then true is fallacious. Isolation of variable is primordial

Secondly, the dynamic of the sub making it easily subject to confirmations biases :

The anecdotal nature of field reports, and post such as "an other example why AWALT" is a terrible way of gathering information if we wanted to confirm the redpill theory.
The internet makes it tremendously easy to create echo chambers nowadays, and TRP sub could be one more case.

For example, even if only 10% of women acted accordingly to the redpill theory (riding the CC in their 20's with alphas then settling with a beta, being bet kept close when made jealous or knowing that her guy has options, or any AWALT attribute) : that could already provide millions of examples, field reports, and "once more we see that AWALT" type posts. Paradoxically, even a million of AWALT posts wouldn't be enough to know that AWALT.

And the fact that people post their success and not their failures in majority makes it even worse, because of the way of thinking "if it works I want to post it and tell the theory is true, if it doesn't, I haven't applied the theory well yet".
Which only provides a majority of positives and drowns the negatives.

Thirdly, some irrefutable argument traps:

For example, when a guy in a relationship is sweet, depends on the girl, is not in an abundance mindset at all (only dedicated to his gf, 0 female friends) :

If the girl leaves him/cheats on him : his beta attitude was repulsive and a turn off which confirms TRP theory.

If the girl stays with him, doesn't cheat and is satisfied: she's settling for a beta provider and her CC phase is over (or never happened) which confirms TRP theory.

An irrefutable theory has no use and isn't relevant, I'm not saying every redpillers would say what is said in the example, but it is really easy to end up falling in this trap because of the abundance of comments/posts that appear to confirm the theory in all cases.

In conclusion, all of this is not about saying that TRP is valid or not. It's about being as logical as possible when evaluating what constitute a good proof of TRP theory.

If you're a redpiller whose life is better since he swallowed the pill, I'm not saying you should change your actions/ lifestyle. I'm saying that you shouldn't think in an illogical way because of your enthousiasm for TRP and how it changed your life.
Someone who joins a cult and becomes so confident that he suddenly gets women doesn't mean that the cult ideology is right, it means the cult influenced the dude well enough (it's an extreme example, not comparing TRP to a cult here, it's an analogy).

TL;DR :

If you swallowed TRP and it makes your life and interactions with women better, good for you, you should do what works best.

But you should be careful not to isolate yourself in an echo chamber and fall into the traps and fallacies that make communities such as flat earthers/ anti-vax exist. Some said traps are described in the post.

Look for the flaws of TRP too, learn in what aspects you disagree with TRP, don't put it on an irrefutable pedestal.
