Red pill people fundamentally are not curious people. they fundamentally do not want to learn, only to confirm preconcieved notions.

Awesome man! Keep it up :) Is this intended as advice for others ?

This was about 12 years ago so maybe background checks weren't as big a thing then. (Not my current employer). Basically, absent some really strict required procedure, people in general don't use critical thinking as much on people who present themselves as confident, intelligent, and put together. (i.e. Confidence, easy, good-humored presentation is the optimal method to dissuade suspicion vs. the average person.)

College majors really mean very little. I know married investment banking executives with english degrees, and one with a completely fake degree.

Are you sure though? I don't know about morally speaking, but generally I find that flirting only works practically when there's indications of interest to begin with, prior to the flirting.

Can you elaborate? Are you referring to negging vs. flirting vs. showering with praise?

I've flirted with the MGTOW fantasy that cosmically, reproduction doesn't matter, but since this is the only reality that we know exists, I can't deny it, evolution and sexual selection is important, and it's exciting, so let's engage in it.

TRP has some good advice but it's more designed as a fascist, authoritarian indoctrination framework with built-in negatively-driven self-esteem boosters. They portray the "other side" as cartoonishly, impossibly stupid in order to create an "us vs them", "elite bro team" feeling. The whole TRP thing is designed to foster this feeling more so than to produce romantic success. It's a "Cheat to Confidence", similar to the bashing of minority races etc. to make people feel better about their shitty…

People aren't all the same and don't all operate romantically/sexually the same Showing vulnerability is an important part of confidence Conforming to macho social standards is total bullshit and a waste of time. Far better to work with genuine passion on things you actually care about, no matter what others think of them. Keep an open mind, meet new people, learn new things. Not only does it make your life much more fun and fascinating but it makes you far more flexible and resilient too.

Assuming that you are looking for the GOOD advice: Red Pill: Be physically fit as much as possible Understand that women are usually more engaged by indirect teasing and flirting games and will be put off by "autistic" straight-talk. Understand that women are attracted to confidence in men more than almost anything else. Confidence meaning steady emotions, consistent good attitude, making few mistakes, matching of words and deeds, commitment to goals and projects. Practice and improve social ski…

The nice part, I agree, but it should be totally divorced from any sexual intentions--it should be nice for the sake of being nice alone and no other sake.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/18 06:59 PM

This and a lot of other posts in PPD just seem like TRP/Incels trolling to annoy others, or fishing to indoctrinate others or get confirmation--not genuinely seeking discussion.

Not a function of health and fitness active choices, I should say. I know some skinny gym freaks cursed with permanent acne and/or rosacea.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/18 11:04 PM

Being swayed by good looks is essentially an irrational, human weakness (inasmuch as looks are not a function of health and fitness). People are thereby often ashamed of it , and make platitudes against judging by looks--but there's not much use in denying or fighting our attraction to attractive people, it's a very strong in-built instinct. I don't think it's particularly gendered one way or the other. In romance, looks are a vital, indispensible element; their irrationality (essentially just s…

Exactly, I only ever see 'sjw' used as an insult against people who believe in equal rights by people who don't.

Really no. Some men genuinely like to make or build stuff--businesses, tools, machines, art, money, etc--rather than "defeat" or "take".

Red pill concepts I'll skip: I don't teach them that all women are the same, or that all men are the same, or that the only acceptable hobby is brazilian jiu-jitsu, or that morality is for losers

Men's basic nature is to get sex as often as possible with as little investment as possible, and to compete with, and defeat, other men. Guess I didn't get the memo, lol

Red pill? No way. Critical thinking skills Assertive communication skills Accurate understanding of gender-based incentives (Sperm/Egg investment and selection, This is close to "red pill") Good health and fitness Help them find and build confidence in their own strengths, not just dabble meaninglessly

Your OP is filled with alt-right jargon. You can start by dispensing with that. When I hear "Virtue signaling" and "SJW" from a person, I know that you care nothing for concepts of fairness, justice, or virtue, or consider them "beta weakness", so I disengage.

what they really want is for low value males to crawl away and die quietly Sort of, but keep in mind that low value is a relative term, and that attention is a desired commodity even from them. I was talking to a female friend at a party recently (29, single, urban PhD) and she said she likes getting whistled at/smiles from/clicks from/messages from guys she views as creeps/losers.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/18 09:23 PM
1

That's really it for me. I see it more as the principles (like AWALT) are there but there's many mitigating factors. Especially the concept of 'alpha/beta' I've seen so much nuance in that that they never remotely acknowledge.

I agree. A lot of the redpill lessons are useful for both sexes but the trp people seem to aggressively push globalized misogyny and other hateful stuff for no reason, and they also seem to ban dissent which is a massive redflag. Overall it's similar to my problem with conservatism, entertaining the idea for a moment that conservatism is a coherent philosophy: unwillingness to good-faith-analyze new information, to meet people who might be different from those youve met before, to accept potenti…

There is no other choice of relationships, lol. Men are expected to be put-together and dominant and confident the majority of the time in ALL romantic relationships
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/18 12:07 AM
2

Assuming you are a sociopath who feels no guilt or empathy: You will probably have some more monetary/romantic success without morality, but only as long as you cover your tracks, which can be quite difficult to do. Being moral is a choice which if you do it you have to understand that it's an "aesthetic hobby" and is not productive or profitable in any way. Expecting kindness to pay off only makes you a Niceguy.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/18 12:03 AM
1

Speak with assertion and confidence and you will be amazed at how differently you are treated.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/18 04:06 PM
2

That's what morality is: An aesthetic goal alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/18 07:14 AM
1

Agreed, and it can't be changed either, you can just manipulate the inputs, or at best make a wrapper around that translates the instructions you give into the inputs it wants. It's a big obstacle, but at least it can be handled. On a higher level, Blue Pill is the only choice, you have to give the system what it wants or you don't get what you want.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/18 08:26 PM

That woman.exe concept speaks to me. There's a lot of continuously, unendingly frustrating irrationality with the current version and, looking back on stuff, the desire for a more logical, woman-who-behaves-like-a-man underlies a lot of fantasy media out there.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/18 08:22 PM
2

There's multiple psychological surveys done that show that men are flat out more intersted in sex, and mroe different types of sex, than women. So yes, like it or not, it's on men to organize the activity as the interested party
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/18 07:49 PM
3

Because many men like to hold a grand idealist fantasy, day-to-day, that whatever pro-social or genuinely morallly good things they are doing - being nice, working hard, etc - will be rewarded with opposite sex attention (Analogous to the inaccurate Trp concept of 'beta'), and that statment throws a brick at that fantasy and tells all those men "Your hard work and good morals will never get you far with me." Now for a genuinely moral person, they won't care, they won't ever link morals and sex, …
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/18 07:25 PM

The confidence that comes from believing you are putting on attractive behavior is probably attractive. I agree and it's interesting that a lot of what works is a placebo effect. As they say, fake it 'til you make it where confidence is concerned.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/18 07:28 PM
1

Being fit helps, being social helps, but faking interest in traditionally macho activities doesn't, faking machismo definitely doesn't, and feeling like an angry victim all the time DEFINITELY doesn't. They occasionally give good advice to sort of "find your place in the world" which can be an excellent source of confidence, but that often gets buried under weird manipulation techniques, cult jargon, and "I'm being oppressed!!" political rants, It's a very mixed bag.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/18 07:26 PM
2

I think this is a fundamental misunderstanding of facts with TRPers. They all assume women have secretly equal sex drives and that they are being slighted when women don't desire sex as much.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/18 07:23 PM
1

Problem is someone always loses I'm starting to think that the real question in society, especially any degree of capitalist society (which I support), is what do you do with the frustrated, lonely, sad, or angry losers? Because they must lose, whoever they turn out to be, and those emotions are auto-generated for them.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/18 06:34 PM
1

Why would they feel low value if they are not low value? People fucking love to feel oppressed, under siege. There are billionare mega-church leaders who claim that they are being oppressed. Even TRP gurus say "Men are oppressed victims!" all time ! In fact, telling people that they are undeservedly oppressed and under siege is a very powerful manipulation tactic, usable for anything from selling gold at inflated prices to getting votes to making religious cults.

I don't think your experience is so unique. As a guy, when I learned to tease girls on dates, my success rate went way up. It didn't make any sense to me because I was never very amused by teasing personally, but women seem to love it across the board.

Yep. The neckbeards are in many ways just hipsters to the extreme. I've got a friend who is an incredibly smart guy but he Is obsessed with obscure philosophy and he goes around thinking everybody except me and him are idiots. He has got his ego tangled with his narrow interests and loneliness. The reality it its just not shared content for most people, nothing wrong with it, it's simply not shared, and if we want to talk about only those things we have to accept that few guys and no girls will …

Great post, you outline social skills that for some reason took me ten years to learn. Nobody wants to listen to your obscure stuff that they can't relate to, so you must be able to have fun talking about ordinary stuff or stuff you're fairly confident you'll have in common.
/r/askTRP11/08/16 09:02 PM

"Underrepresented" ? Ask yourself what assumptions you are making. "Underrepresented" compared to what? your fantasy utopia? Your are implying that the current state of reality is "unfair". Reality is reality. It is what it is because of the rules of the game of reality. People do not get what you think they deserve, they get what they can get by their own individual efforts or lack thereof.

Thanks so much for the advice! Yes, I have been telling myself that it may take 1 year to see any difference or get to those guys' level but at this point in my life, i'm 30, I've tried the neckbeard lifestyle in the past and it was not fun. I'm ready to commit to being healthier whether it gets me more women or not, just for the nice little feeling of pride that one has physically challenged oneself and overcome each day and each week. I've been increaseing the weights slowly and slowly increas…

Thanks so much for the well considered response and especially the encouragement. The meticulous workout planning is a little intimidating for me but so far I've found my routine challenging yet doable. My goal is to simply increase the weights whenever I can do 16 repetitions without struggling, and increase the cardio difficulty similarly, whenever i feel as though it's a little easy. I will work on goals however as you advise. Thanks again for really putting thought into something designed to…

Random question since you seem to know about this, I've just started working out regularly, 3 weeks so far, and I've been going on a 20 minute jog at about 6 mph every single day. In addtion I've been lifting weights for 1h, 2x per week. Am I on track for a burnout or taking on too much at once? I have a lot of little simliar quesitons but not sure paying for a personal trainer to answer them is worth it.

Everything has downsides. And yes, you would absolutely learn valuable social skills from being in a gang.
/r/askTRP19/07/16 02:38 PM

I'll be more blunt. Casual sex helps you practice valuable LTR skills in: Shit test management Drama immunity Sexual performance (yes, it is a skill that needs practice) Confidence with women in general You don't have to be really big on casual sex, you can learn these lessons elsewhere, but it's just one way to practice all those skills, and in an LTR, you will be seriously and constantly tested.
/r/askTRP19/07/16 02:15 PM
2

A lot of people in this forum tend to base their pride on being a gorilla type of guy who has lots of casual sex. That's fine, and you shouldn't judge them for it. A man chooses the meaning of his own life. I don't enjoy that personally, I'm more proud of other things that are not such easily forgotten and fleeting commodities as casual sex, but I cannot deny that the principles underlying the main ideas here are solid. The hypergamy principle, the management of shit tests, the necessity of bein…

Make no mistake, being a true dominant is a lot more work and mental effort, even more emotional effort, than being submissive. You have to plan, you have to act a little, you have to consider the perception of your actions. If you want a reversal of gender roles where females are attracted to males who can't make decisions and have no plans, you'll have to go very far into the erotic fantasy community, far enough where men pretend to be women. It simply cannot be by the laws of our reality. You…

I've tried very hard in my BP days and having a legitimately fun female friend is extremely rare to impossible. The closest I've got is a pen-pal housewife in another country who is into the same physically impossible "adult interests" that I am and we talk about it--in a flirty way, sending dirty stories etc--about once a month, and even then she will have random dramatic freak-outs once a year for no reason at all--at which times I simply do not respond. I met women through my grad school exam tutoring, automatic status boost, but I enjoy that, what other people enjoy may vary. Try stuff out. Aim for something which (a) you enjoy and (b) either provides an automatic status boost or a relative status boost becasue you are above average in skill or rank. "Creeping out" / "not creeping out" is in my experience more about properly recognizing IOIs and lack of IOIs. If you're unable to tell, you may come on too strong too fast. Focus on seeing how they react to your presence and your conversation skills. Treat all failures as a learning opportunity and an opportunity to be drop some of your fear.
/r/askTRP01/04/16 07:43 PM

Online dating actually works pretty well IMO as long as you use a shotgun approach. What you say doesn't matter much as long as it's a little eye-catching. Just spam all the girls and you'll get some easy.
/r/askTRP01/04/16 07:42 PM

My advice here is simple. Regarding failure to close with the opposite sex: "Failure is an illusion." When you try and fail, you may think. "Oh shit, I failed! I wasted my time, I wasted my effort, blood, sweat, money and tears. Woe is me." But that's actually wrong. When you fail, you gain things. You are less nervous, you care less about failure, you learned some things, you have less excessive expectations. Failing actually sets you up better to succeed next time.

It's a few things: An exercise in self-control like any other, and also, you'll notice your aggression level increase when you don't do it for a while. Generally do it as much as you would eat candy, the costs/benefits there are fairly similar.

Jumping in, I have to admit, the part about TRP that I find absolutely the most difficult is the "stop wanting sex in order to get more sex" concept. Any advice for overcoming this?
/r/askTRP29/03/16 10:25 PM

That's what I really have trouble with philosophically. Picking a hobby in order to impress a girl seems to be putting girls on a pedestal, or at the very least putting girls above hobbies as a priority. While I do believe that will help a typical guy to pick up a girl, I can't do that. I'd more strongly recommend exercise, do hobbies that make you proud of yourself, and simply going to parties/concerts/bars a few times per week.

"Do whatever you think is best " with a smile that shows you 110% don't care. No faking though, you have to be confident enough to actually not give a fuck. If she can see it in your eyes that you truly don't care, she will start to try to find a way to please you.

Excellent point. I need to remember this one for the future, I ask too many blunt questions.
/r/TheRedPill22/01/16 06:37 PM

For each of your hobbies, ask yourself some of these questions: Does it make you feel an enduring sense of confidence, capability, manliness and accomplishment? This is most important. Others: Does it improve your health? Is it useful? Does it make you new friends? Does it help you practice your speaking skills? Does it leave you with something you can show off to the average person? Do you just fucking love doing it and talking about it with people? Etc.

Appreciate the thoughts. Before TRP I had this idea that I would just get to a point where I'd "made it" and could stop trying, so it's great to keep being reminded that success requires continuous conscious application.

Do a lot more dating, and also do more picking up girls that is not "dating". Many lessons can't fully be expressed in written words but it's a matter of learned intuition. Do not be discouraged by failure because every failure teaches a lesson and removes a little fear. Aim for making out as soon as possible. Learn how to "glide up the kino curve", escalate physical contact smoothly and naturally. Sounds like you might be focused a little too much on being a people pleaser / entertaining the gi…

I think the issue is that you were too obviously and desperately trying to hide something which makes people nervous. I can confirm, I've tried both OP's response and this response. Agreed that the go-to-fucking reaction, while seemingly admitting defeat, in the end works out better because you establish more dominance by fucking her than by getting all huffy and grumpy and making her leave.

The guys who made the books all did the same thing. They approached a lot of women and did a lot of experimentation, trial and error, and adapted a style suited to their own personalities. Whatever approach you take, you'll need to do a few of the above.
/r/askTRP27/07/15 11:49 AM

It is absolutely possible to begin with a woman who says "I'm not in the mood" and turn her on so that she's begging to be fucked. It's mostly practice and experimentation, but it takes a cheerful yet firm attitude, grace, and flexibility on the part of the man. As other guys are saying it's a lot easier to just dump her and look for a more submissive girl. That choice is up to you, but to 'sculpt' a girl's sexuality can be quite a satisfying experience.

It does sound like you took the RP advice and became too rigid and grumpy and angry. Your ability to analyze your own mistakes is very good and absolutely vital to a good life in the future. A lot of people NEVER can look at their own mistakes and you're better than that. You will know the specifics better than any commenter here. The guideline I recommend is you want to make an early or first meetup like this as smooth as possible. Avoid a lot of long travel time as it can be awkward if you don't know the person well yet. Pickup, being in your car helps with frame and is a very convenient private location for making out and other stuff. However, since it's a long drive, consider that she might flake. I would not admit it's a long drive. Long term, all else being equal you should live in a city and avoid far away dates/hook ups.
/r/askTRP23/07/15 08:59 PM

That third bullet is so important. The most important thing I've learned on my TRP path has been that all advice is context sensitive. "Holding Frame" in particular, the decision whether to laugh something off, push forward gracefully, withdraw quietly, or be firm and demand something, can vary widely depending on context and no amount of instruction-following can help you, there has to be experimentation and failure and iteration. Most of "Good Frame" is inexpressible in recorded knowledge.

I've seen exactly what you describe many times. My theory is that it's a survival of the fittest thing. You're taking yourself too seriously. One of the best TRP posts I've read on here is everything you do in life should be done "not win or lose, but for the love of the game". Think of it that way. We all get 1 life. Relax, experiment, enjoy yourself.

Some men split up the type of women they are actually attracted to and the type of women who they hope will impress the rest of society. It's another variety of confusing what you want vs. what some random social trend is. It honestly sounds like you've done that here. One common type is men who like fat girls but are shameful about them. If you are going to do an LTR you better get "your type" -- fat, skinny, tall, short, black or white etc.
/r/askTRP20/07/15 07:09 PM

It takes time. TRP is really about trying out the recommendations in real life, seeing what happens, seeing what techniques work best for you in various situations. You can't learn it just by reading. You have to read, practice, think, reread, practice, etc

You notice it via her actions and reactions yes. It is never easy and depends heavily on the individual man and woman and surrounding situation but you can build experience with it over time and learn successful ways to tease away a woman's complaints and excuses. If she's repeatedly bringing up a mistake you made, maybe there's a way to make it into a joke, or ignore it . You can't dispute what she's saying or bring up her mistakes as that would be arguing, so you aim to create new happy moment…

One thing I've learned from my small experience in ltr is that the only way to recover from one of these subtle mistakes is to build up a series of subtle wins over time without seeming upset or frustrated or sorry at all. It is very difficult much more difficult than spinning plates etc.

Trp does not hand you goals or morals. It only teaches you what works and what does not work. all our goals come from irrational emotions. All of them. Ive gotten very slightly better at it since finding TRP 6 months ago. Like so many TRP things, it just gets better slowly with practice. Basically, just practice not looking at them or not paying attention to them, start by pretending you have something more important you are thinking about. Simply not looking at them unless absolutely necessary can give you a small but measurable better feeling of control. You can also try thinking about how the average Joe would be falling all over himself in …

As I get older and more experienced I see this more and more. When I was a kid I stifled my desire to say hi to cute waitresses/girls on the train, absolutely certain somehow it would be "sexual harassment" and I would be a creep/be put in jail. then I was routinely baffled and humiliated and angered when good-looking guys would do the exact same thing and be met with giggles. This is very good advice. I learned this late and the hard way at the age of 30. It's not enough to love something or even to be passionate about it, you will still be overlooked by others as invisible unless you achieve a position IN that activity that is widely and publicly appreciable and respectable. I have hobbies that I absolutely love, and that are extremely creative, constructive, and fun, but they are shared only by a small group of worldwide enthusiasts online. I was pouring entire wee…

I'm slowly starting to understand the idea of maintaining frame. It does sound like the goal is to simply not feel the annoyance or anger in the first place, or if you do, to mask it completely.

I think I can imagine what you're saying. Instead of thinking, "This b___ is disrespecting me", I should think, "she is so silly, therefore I will tease her." Is that the right idea?

The whole point of TRP is that you may need advice, but you never need "help". You learn, through advice and observation, to help yourself.

Excellent advice. I'm still in TRP transition, building up a part-time tutoring business in addition to my full time job while struggling to eliminate useless temptations. Recently I had a few days off work from both jobs and spent some 36 hours playing an RPG video game. Then, when I finished, I just sort of sat there and realized how pointless it all was. I was so happy I built up this pointless little collection of numbers. I realized, I could easily have cheated at the game and achieved some…

It's a divide among TRPers. The more PUA-type guys like sluts because they give lots of sex, the more conservative-type guys hate sluts because slut culture makes every girl slightly more disloyal and a worse option for a wife. As a civilization-oriented TRPer, I lean towards the latter, slut-shaming view.

Great post. Also note, for those who are mad: Don't be mad. It's not a universal constant. Ants, arguably a more efficient life form than people, only send old females to war, since they are the most disposable.

Controlling my anger has been my first and so far only complete red-pull success. It's improved my life significantly. The ways I found to control anger were: Disengage, shrug, take a walk. Think about how none of this shit really matters, and the only thing that matters in life is your own mission. Realize that if you think somebody is disrespecting/making you look bad, becoming angry will ALWAYS make you look even stupider, but staying cool makes them look petty.

Exactly. Great point about careers. When I first found TRP back in April, I slowly realized how it helps hugely with office politics, and gives you a great model simply for being more confident in every decision you make. I love how TRP forces you to ask yourself "Does this course of action support my true mission in life? Do I really care about impressing this person?" Etc.

This is so true. It's part of the misdirection that Betas receive from movies/tv/fantasies. Those very often contain "morality tales" about "kindness". But in every case, the helper and/or the helpee is extremely, pristinely attractive. Therefore they are useless fantasties

It does come together for the naturally good-looking or naturally confident men (who are the only visible men to the eyes of women), but as we do not have that, we must use our brains and our commitment and make long term plans. That is all that TRP is.

thought the women part would come together I'm not a TRP expert, but I would say that there's your problem. It doesn't come together, you have to make it come together. You need to find a way to put yourself in proximity to girls so you can just build up a lot of practice with different girls, similar to what a young natural good-looking schoolboy would get WITHOUT trying. There are many ways. You could go to techno dance clubs like the Jersey Shore guys, you could be a tour guide of some kind, …

This is the best answer in the thread, although I agree that this is a subconscious thought process. 2 can be elaborated: There is an evolutionary instinct for a woman to (a) attempt to control her sons and (b) if successful, "mark" her sons with the "scarlet letter of B" that is universally visible to all women. If the sons are effectively controlled, and marked, then all other women are nonverbally informed to either avoid them or take their money and avoid their genes. If the sons are not abl…

Move to a city. Part of being an alpha is living in a city. I'm no TRP expert, but it seems that small towns are dominated by natural alphas only. In a city people are constantly coming and going; therefore your reputation gets a lot more second chances. You can create a new persona with each new friend/girlfriend if you want to. I am by no means a success with that type of girl, but if that's your goal, here are a few ideas: The best lookers have a very high correlation with being entitled and stuck-up. If you notice this, you will have a good reason to not give them excess respect. (For me personally, I'm turned off of them completely by it.) Keep in mind that their visual beauty is their power. Getting angry is a beta behavior. Moreover getting angry at an office can get you fired very fast. Women have huge power in the workplace. I would advise you to stay calm. I agree. The truth is that men simply have more responsibility in the world than women, because women as a body simply do not shoulder it, their biological imperative is to complain, throw fits, and test men's poise. It really is amazing to me how I, considering myself an intelligent person, actually believed the genders to be "equal" and "communication is key" when there is so much obvious evidence otherwise.
/r/TheRedPill14/06/14 01:58 PM

That's right, but if there's a girl you're not trying to fuck (ex: sister or some acquaintance at a corporate event) you can verbalize some RP principles just to amuse yourself with their reaction, watch the brain vs. the ego fight (aka hamster).

Very well said. I would say the same thing about the 48 Laws of Power and the office. It's just a toolbox. If the world was a place where all people communicated honestly and all worthy achievements were rewarded, this stuff would not be necessary. If you are dealing with an honest and straightfoward and loving and self-aware person, this stuff is not necessary. But when you're not you have these tools.

I'd say, keep using TRP/PUA advice the night of, you want to continue escalating the teasing/playfulness/physical touching. When you actually get down to it and the clothes are off, just relax and take it slow. Start by spending a lot of time kissing--especially her neck and shoulders, girls love that and will remember it. if you do that, and finger or lick her pussy a bit, despite all the shit people say, it really doesn't matter how fast you come.

This article finally explains it. In the 19th century -> 1950s, beta providership WAS men's #1 most reliable sexual strategy, because the world was a more uncertain and risky place. Of course, given two equally rich men, the more dominant alpha would be selected, but it was less of a priority. Now, we have removed the risk. Fortune's hand has tipped, fortune no longer favors the timid in a dangerous world, but favors the bold in a safe world. Again: we are no different from animals.

It feels much better to be alone with your confidence, then hating yourself in the friend zone. I can vouch for this personally. Recognize t…

I agree, I think the topic "be confrontatial" could be misinterpreted as encouraging people to start arguments which isn't effective

Downvoted: Because this is an issue which has very little measured scientific impact either way Because it is unrelated to optimizing masculine success, the goal of TRP Because it is a drama-bomb ethical issue which people like andrew sullivan have been throwing hissy fits about for years Because it's also an obvious religion-vs-atheist troll bait

It's a fine line, but it boils down to this: Everyone judges everyone else, constantly. This is a fact of human and animal life. Everyone judges based on what they know and what they see. If you never tell others the cool accomplishments and skills you have, they will never know about them, and unfairly judge you as low value. If you overdo boasts about your cool accomplishments (for example those people who spray pictures of their babies/trips everywhere), it will annoy others. Ideally you want…

Go to /theredpill/ and read all the links on the sidebar. I would recommend the Book of Pook in particular, it's got a great pithy parabolic style that I found really effective. I think overall the essence of TRP is, don't doubt yourself, don't be defensive, don't be grumpy, just go forth and take risks and try new things and be constructive with your time, make yourself into someone to boast of. Above all, don't be afriad to take risks and understand that Frame is just :Taking a risk, knowing t…

I would agree with this statement. I would add that the core alpha traits that absolutely all women respond well to are (a) confidence and (b) amused mastery. However, in my experience, negs tend to backfire on unicorns.

Yeah while I would think Jerkboy's lessons absolutely work for plates, I don't think that would work in this case since I'm not actually trying to fuck this girl (although very ironically she did offer me a fuck if I visited her), I just like working with her on projects. Maybe that's the wrong context to practice being a charming jerk. I'll stick with the "minimize sarcasm over text.

I think you're right. I've been reading what RPers say about female friendship and am slowly coming around to thinking that it's right: They tend to be too easily offended and too flaky to be very good friends, anyway. Still, i will take to heart the lesson to NOT talk about RP, and to NOT be sarcastic over text.

Most mothers legitimately love their children unconditionally. That's a good quality. Women can be beautiful, silly, charming. That's a good quality. Women are strongly inherently motivated to work as teachers and nurses which are roles that do benefit society in small ways. Those are good qualities.

I did this recently. I see her as part of an activity on a regular basis. B worked perfectly over time. A mixture of A and B is the right choice. Talk about philosophy and politics is and will always be completely unrelated to M-F attraction. For a woman to be attracted to the man, the man must make indirect boasts, also known as DHV or Display of High Value. Talk about cool friends in far away places that you did dangerous things with. Talk about some awesome thing that you built/created/wrote that impressed your friends. Don't talk about religion, politics, or ANYTHING that she can use to label you as a nerd. Natural Alphas are the most ape-like, instinctive men. Natural betas are the hardest workers. Betas are better for civilization, but women love alphas the best. When there's a stable society that somehow ensures betas get women (ie post ww2 m/f supply/demand imbalance), civilization advances. If not, then it stagnates and we all lean back towards apedom.

Good summary of a bunch of similar posts on this topic that I've seen. This points out that civilization is built by worker males having an agreement with natural alpha males. (i.e. the social contract). Worker males will build, code, write, calculate. Alpha males will "lead", pay them some money and promise to probably leave them a wife--ie, no polygamy, and shaming of female promiscuity. One of the terms of the social contract is that wives will be provided via shaming of female ape behavior, …

It's so amazing to me that the only place the truth on these comes out in popular culture is through male comedians. Louis is not even presenting it in a funny way, he's just stating RP truth -- very sad, harsh, cruel stuff -- and the drunken audience laughs uproariously.

Because reddit is a democracy with all this voting crap, people are constantly presented with the incentive to give people what they want to hear -- and the easiest thing to sell is the most short term feel-good horse shit. I haven't had this problem. As someone in a somewhat similar situation (just discovered rp a month ago, started working out and practicing frame), I'd say just take it slow and keep practicing. Try just making jokes to entertain strangers, even if it's a grocery store clerk or something. You don't know how lucky you are, man. You are 17. I am 28. I just discovered this TRP stuff a month ago. You have SO MUCH potential. The more men a woman has been with, the more jaded and entitled she becomes, the more money/resources she expects a man to give her. For men, all we want is the act, we have no interest in resources. If we want an LTR, we don't want to be made to beg and wine and dine, we want to be respected for our commitment. If we just want a hook up, then we just want a hook up. Video games, especially single player video games. People who make video games walk to the bank laughing that you feel happy you accomplished an utterly meaningless task that they completely framed and defined. It's very clear she hates men who admit their weaknesses and men who show frustration or sadness. I'm amazed that until I found this sub, it never occurred to me that women can go around complaining loudly about being weak, frustrated, and helpless, and that's considered completely normal or even "social justice", but for men it's total failure to do so. It's such a stark difference and it's so clear now. It's no reason for me to be angry, just a property of humans to be understood.

I'm not trying to impress anyone. I want to fuck this girl. If she says some bullshit like "you're too greedy" but we still escalate significantly at each meeting, then I'm happy. If she does more scolding and withdrawing next time, then I'll next her.
/r/askTRP

That's my plan. I've got 2 other female acquaintances to ask out for drinks and I'm going to do exactly that. Already got one to agree Seems like you re good either way, if double booked you get jealousy points or if not then no harm done.

Is it worth worrying about the # of grams of fat? I heard that it should be below 60. Or is it better to just focus on the calories? I'll start right away and aim at 1500.
/r/askTRP

So, just record the exact calories of all meals every day and stop eating when I get to 1800 or so?
/r/askTRP

I'll keep looking. ...seems like people are describing "frame" as "confidence in one's own view of events (such as in this case, my view of the hookups as no big deal, just for fun) built upon years of experiences." I guess I answered my own question.
/r/askTRP
