Well there is the option of a surrogate mother, but she can keep the kid and claim child support. And even this works out there is a 50% chance you'll get a girl, wich I believe absolutely need a mother to be healthy.

Good read, this got me thinking. Women in this modern time are stuck in a continuous loop that didn't exist when vilages were smaller. They want the best guy they can get so every man pretends to be better than they actually are. Women in a relationship see all these other men that seem like they are the best, way better than what they currently have, so they switch and the cycle repeats. Way back when everyone knew everyone, men couldnt fake their way to the top.

I've been trying to come up with a solution, it's not going to be popular but I wanted to share. If society could somehow restrict women to only have 1 partner in her lifetime then this wouldnt solve anything. Women will probably still go for the top 10% of men if they could. This doesnt add up well. 50 milion in total since 1973 comes down to around 1.09 million abortions per year. The birth rate since 1950 has been around 3.8 ish milion per year, 1.9 of wich would be girls. So for every 1.75 women added to the US, 1 baby is aborted. This would imply that when you see two women, one of the two would likely have an abortion in her lifetime.

I dont think this adds up. lets say the guys puts in 1000, and the woman 3000. The total would be 4000. if the man divorces he gets 0.2*4000=800. wich is less than the 1000 he put in. edit: Im an idiot. I didn't factor in that they spend during the relationship, so he can live twice above his standard for the duration of the relationship.

the problem is that even though needles exist, most needles are just hay strands that look like needles. So even if you find a needle, there is no way of finding out it's an actual needle. if we assume a society where all mothers are single moms, and they all recieve wellfare. This means that all men are single and providing only for himself. A man who works only for himself has to earn only 1/3 of the traditional family provider. This would mean government income would fall dramaticly. the only way they can sustain is to increase income tax to ridiculous levels (think 80%).
