Just to follow up, today was business as usual. I intentionally played it straight and acted like it was another day at work. After letting this macerate overnight and working today, I've realized that I guess I'm a little too cautious about these things. I mean, yeah, always be on your guard at work, but it wasn't as big of a deal as I made it. I just never expected her to come out and say it so blatantly like she did. Had it been something more artful and subtle it might have just made me rais…

Yeah, I just never expected this of all things. Now to be fair, we have a playful, flirty work relationship. Put your pitchforks down, guys, I'm talking subtlety in the "I know you're thinking what I think you're thinking, but we're at work, there are boundaries, and neither of us is going to cross them." sort of way. Any guy with a healthy social relationship with women knows what I mean. This comment, in my opinion straight up crossed those boundaries times 100. We have never had any overtly s…

That's what I was thinking, though they've only been married a couple of months now. We work together on the same team and HELL NO WILL I EVER GO THERE. Can't stress that one enough. In fact, I may need to do some strategic maneuvering to distance myself from her and maybe get on another team.

I walked into a doctor's office the other day and said "WTF is with all you sick people? You're pathetic. While you're coughing up a lung, I'm going to be out there running a marathon. You're all a bunch of pussies." Dunno why they all looked at me like I was a retard.

You do you, but for me, any use of that bullshit terminology is an automatic disqualifier. That's up there with blue hair, and these stupid looking Betty Page hairdos that seem to be all the rage among the milfem types these days.

"Really? Is it true that pigs don't sweat?" (or some other non sequitur or statement to elicit a "Huh?" type response) Her: What? You: Oh, I'm sorry. Thought we were talking about shit that don't matter.

The easiest way to tell? You're fucking her. Being her rock is being unmoved by what she says and just letting her say it. Stoicism helps here. As emotional creatures, women need to vent and it's okay, as long as she's still taking your dick. This is more applicable to LTRs, though. Spend enough time with someone and eventually she's going to start dumping her emotional bullshit on you. If you feel like you need to handle it, here's what you do: Nothing. Let her get her shit off her chest if she…

Because it's like Murphy's Law -- "Anything that can happen, will happen." It's applicable and adaptable to many situations, and can be altered to accommodate. Mike Pence doesn't have dinner alone with any other woman but his wife. You can take that to mean any number of situations where your professional or personal life could be ruined if a woman can use your actions against you. It's a simplified version of don't shit where you eat. Basically, don't allow yourself to be in a potentially compr…

I hear you. Part of my not posting OPs here in the main TRP sub was out of fear, which I'll be the first to admit is probably irrational. It's a value proposition. I want to give something I think is valuable to the readership, but my direct applicable and relatable experience isn't really enough to dedicate a post to. I mean, sure, I've got situations I can describe, how I handled them, and lessons that I learned, but they were on a more micro level. Most of that came out in my posts on the ask…

I used to be more active on AskTRP offering the odd bit of subjective opinion and experience based advice, but mostly I've been a consumer as Rian pointedly described. I won't sit here and pound my fist in righteous indignation about "What're WE gonna do!?" because this is just the inevitability of operating on a platform managed by the enemy. Eventually, the enemy is going to pull the plug. Of course, I use the word "enemy" as part hyperbole and partly in the ideological sense, but I'm sure you…

You just answered a lot of questions about why you aren't having any success with women in that one post, and it's not even about your personal feelings for the guy in residence at the White House right now. You come across as an overly emotional, easily triggered beta cuck who is more comfortable being subservient to a People's Army of fat, blue-dyed bulldykes than in the presence of a feminine specimen of class. Drop the soy and learn to change a fucking tire. It might improve your chances.

Job interviews are such a mixed bag nowadays. Some places are just informal with usual questions about your experience and qualifications, while others follow a structured process. One of the big ones I've encountered are the STAR interviews. STAR stands for Situation or Task, Actions taken, and Results. The interviews can be done with one interviewer or a panel, and the questions are like "Describe a time when you ________. What were the actions you took and what were the results?" There will A…

My brand of humor is in the quick, calculated dropping of something extremely shocking, as in "I can't believe you actually said that." I'll give an example you can try if you're brave enough. Warning-- you really need to calibrate to your target group for this. It works with people who you know are pretty straightlaced in social settings, but who have a sense of humor and aren't easily offended. You have to deliver this as if you're making a point completely irrelevant to the statement. As if t…

Compared to you, I'm fresh-off-the-boat new to TRP, and I know exactly what you mean. A lot of us paid some pretty hefty prices to realize TRP exists, with divorces and other bullshit. Hell, I had to move across the country to the sphincter of America, get with a basketcase who ended up deciding she was a F2M tranny, and having to come to terms with the fact that I let myself waste the best years of my life for that to realize there is an underlying truth. Your post got deleted, but I'll answer your reply any way. Even if bouncers, bartenders, or trainers are in a position of perceived power, they are still representives of a business-- whether the club's or their own. If say, a personal trainer makes a habit of hitting on his female clients, eventually something is going to go tits up. If he has any presence on social media, the object of his scorn WILL let it be known what a sexist creep his is and the sisterhood will circle the wagons. Boom, re…

Are you retarded? Do you not understand that a woman's mood swing could potentially kill your career? Do you not understand that if you get fired for sexual harassment just because some dumb bitch decided to use a nuclear bomb on you by complaining to HR about your advances on a hormonal PMS whim that you get branded and considered toxic to other employers if they were to know? Easier said than done. Look, I get it-- you can't keep going back to blaming a shitty dad for everything bad that happens to you. At some point, you have to take over the reins of your life and steer you in the direction you want to go. But when some dads fuck up, they fuck up BAD. Mine left my mom when I was 4. A true Machiavellian doesn't let on that they're Machiavellian to their marks. I've been interested in exploring this trait as well, for many of the reasons the OP mentions. I had a similar upbringing, though instead of small, I was the fat poor kid. Big character building experience there. I've learned to use my wits and other people when the situation calls for it, but I need to refine my emotional discipline.

Inasmuch as it applies to intersexual dynamics, it started on the Sosuave forum. Reading the sidebar material would have answered this. I see many people haven't.

I don't have flair and am still a relative newbie, but the advice I give is based on my own experience and/ or filtered through the red pill learnings I've picked up from sidebar and other red pill sources within the manosphere. When you make eyecontact, hold the gaze for a count of three, then relax your eyes and give them a smirk or a half smile, and perhaps a slight nod, and then break eye contact. Wait a few seconds and look at her again. If she meets your gaze again and doesn't appear put off, make your approach with a friendly greeting. /r/TheRedPill16/08/18 01:17 AM

Nah, the subtle approach works better. If it's an office environment, send her regular, short emails telling her she looks pretty or that shirt looks amazing on her. Be sure and check out her assets every time you can, and also make sure she sees you do it. It'll increase her attraction to you.

I'll isolate socialism here since that's one of the items you seem to be defending. I'll assume you're either a young, idealistic American or are from a socialist country. Socialism is based on the idea that all contribute to some nebulous "greater good" to ensure equitable distribution of resources. Bullshit. Vitamin D3 is what you want. Shoot for a dose of at least 3000 iu's. Make sure you're getting zinc and magnesium too. Sunshine is also good for Vitamin D, so try to spend some time outdoors. You got advice but chose to dismiss it. "Don't shit where you eat" is one of the biggest maxims of the red pill. It means you don't mix business and pleasure, because both are equally important and both can fuck over the other. Whether it's in a corporate environment where an overblown complaint of alleged sexual harassment to HR can spell the end of a career, to the freelancer who tries gaming the wrong female client and gets his reputation smeared on social media, it's a risky move. I'm middle aged and consider myself lucky to still have my mother. I'm sure if I had a shitty ego and was looking for someone to blame for the various failures in my life, I could probably dissect her through a red pill lens and find her wanting. But I don't. I can't take credit for this, since I saw it posted by someone else some time back, but I like it. If the girl says she has a boyfriend with an attitude beyond the standard shit test, say "So do I, but he doesn't get pissed when I talk to other people."

Yes anger is beta, it is weak temperament and derationalizes a person and gives prone to mistakes. Going to disagree here. Righteous anger can serve as motivation. Anger without a clear purpose can lead to beta behavior, but anger in and of itself can be harnessed to achieve one's goals.

Yeah, pretty much. I've been in similar circumstances. I just smirk and say "Job security." and leave it at that. I don't have time to deal with other people's problems. No, I don't go looking for taken girls, but if I approach and attract a girl who I have no idea has a boyfriend, husband, or other, and we hit it off, I'm only going to assume she wants it. I don't go out looking to break up relationships; if anything, it's the girls who become attracted and who act on that attraction. It's not my job to keep her relationship intact. It's her's. Try pre-mixed stuff. Not as good as most of the things you get in tubs, and not nearly as cost effective, but some of them taste pretty good and are alright as far as the protein, aminos, etc go. I tried one called Evolve that wasn't bad. It's plant protein, but soy-free. 20g of the stuff. It won't be my go-to, but I'm going to keep a 4 pack or 2 in the fridge on hand for emergencies. Otherwise, you can try mixing your powder with nut milks or even chocolate milk to enhance the flavor.

I was and I basically did everything I suggested to you. I'm not exactly an extrovert as my personality is more conservative than your average social butterfly center of attention. However, I have no issues striking up conversations with random people and rarely do I get blown off. This sounds almost exactly like an experience I had with my high school oneitis 20 years ago. Here's your problem. You're already friend zoned. You didn't assert yourself as a sexual being from the beginning. You probably spent way too much time playing nice and now you're just one of her girlfriends. Very, VERY rarely can you transition a friend into a girlfriend. You might be able to slide into FWB territory, but you need to raise your SMV by a magnitude over what you're currently sporting. Sh…

There's really nothing more you need. Just start talking to people. Get out of the mindset that you're trying to game someone. Talk to everyone. Idle chit-chit with men and women. It's about getting used to dealing with people on a brief, superficial level. Once you're comfortable with passing 2 minute conversations, you can try chatting someone up at a Starbucks or wherever. Context? If it's at work, disassociate yourself as much as you can while keeping things professional. Acquaintance? Personally, I don't give them the time of day. In the religious world, there is a saying that goes something like "looking for a demon in every bush". It's a sort of naive search for all the evil in the world and attributing it to the devil. I see forms of this all up and down askTRP. "Yo, I'm right handed, but I wipe my ass with my left hand. Is that RP?" Shit like that. It's good for a laugh, don't get me wrong, but people who don't read the sidebar of the main sub stand out like teeth on a Nigerian.

I don't concern myself too much with feminists. It's pretty much a deal breaker for me anyway. The ones who display the obvious tells like short, unnaturally colored hair, cats eye glasses, etc., I don't even consider prospects. The instant I get a whiff of feminist sensibilities from a girl who isn't obvious outwardly, I distance myself. Not worth the drama. For the specific example of sending out nudes, it depends on what your SMV is. If it's objectively high and she's doing it, she's trying to validate herself to you, like a sales pitch. If it's objectively low, but she's still sending the nudes, she's just fishing for external validation because she knows that low SMV dudes will trip over themselves to tip their fedoras at m'lady at the sight of her bare skin.

If you're just starting down this path, don't take a kitchen sink approach by focusing intently on multiple things at once. One of the things I find myself thinking about in my redpill realization is shifting the value of of sex. The whole sex=female currency thing is one of those modern truisms that have lead to the decline in masculinity. It's like women both want and don't want their pussy put on a pedestal. Diet and cardio burns fat (and you can do cardio via lifting-- just mean that getting your heart rate up does it), Lifting is what sculpts. Google TDEE calculators. Figure out your baseline caloric needs and cut them by 25%. You can lift all day, every day, but if you're hoovering McDonald's the whole time, you're just wasting your time and the gym's.

Crystal Light helps take the edge off. I dilute mine, though. One packet is for a 16 oz bottle, but I put it in my 32 oz water bottle with ice. Sugar free and enough flavor to keep it from being boring. I do alternate between that and straight water, though. You develop a taste for it, believe it or not.

I think to be redpilled after being blue and/ or oblivious, a person has to have experienced an epiphany. For some of us, it's a divorce or otherwise shitty relationship that lays reality bare, or it might be after seeing a pattern over time. When I see someone say they've been redpilled for X amount of time, I assume that was when the event or realization occurred. I also think it's possible to be redpilled intellectually but not yet in practice. I'd say this is the transitory period between th…

Not sure what the point of this is. I was raised by my mom and one time, I mouthed off at her and she cold cocked me. As an adult, I can look back and say yeah, I deserve it. And while it's true that being raised by a divorced mother isn't ideal for a boy, taking mom to the woodshed for how she administered discipline serves no purpose.

With 5x5 you'll progress each round, so if you've never done much lifting, the bar is fine to start. I cannot stress hard enough how important getting form right is from the beginning. A herniated disk is no joke and being dumb with deadlifts using heavy weight and poor form as a novice is the quickest way to get one. If you're serious about this, look into getting a coach or trainer.
/r/askTRP09/07/18 03:43 PM
2

Start with the bar only, even if it seems light to you. It'll be easier to get your form down. Form is primary here. If you go in heavy and sloppy, you're going to risk injuring yourself. Don't feel self conscious about it, either. Every jacked motherfucker in the gym looked like you at one time. Go in, do your work, and feel good about the improvements you're making. If you feel like putting some cardio in too, do it after you lift.

Everything above a 9, or even 8.5 is purely subjective, like the others have said. Most guys have an agreed upon level of attractiveness by which they rate a girl collectively. Things like soft feminine features, symmetrical face, reasonable level of physical fitness, and no glaring flaws (nose the size of the San Fernando valley, mustache, etc.). What elevates it beyond the collectively agreed upon HB-range are YOUR specific tastes, turn-ons, and ideal qualities. Like redheads? Like brunettes? …

Are you being stoic according to the dictionary definition of it, or are you taking on a stoic attitude in accordance with the philosophy of classical Stoicism? There is a difference. If it is something that is in your control and something you can improve on, instead of wasting time and energy on getting worked up about it, direct…

When you say "intelligent" do you mean knowledgeable about a variety of scholarly and trivial matters, i.e. what we refer to as "smart", or do you mean it in a more philosophical way, such as social/emotional intelligence? I get what you're saying, but I was talking about the context of the workplace. Anywhere else and the defensiveness and need to feel apologetic goes out the window. I beg to differ. I have immense power over her while face-deep. If you're being submissive while doing it, you're doing it wrong. To the OP, TRP doesn't care about eating pussy. Individual people have their hang-ups, but TRP as a philosophy and way at looking at intersex relations doesn't establish a "Thou shalt not" law about it. If you're good at it, it can be a very dominate move to pull. If you aren't any good at it and have to keep asking "Does that feel good?", you're being submissive.

Sometimes I like to flip the tables and ask them stuff like "What do you like about working here?" As Dale Carnegie taught in How to Win Friends and Influence People (fantastic book. Somewhat dated, but with timeless concepts), everyone's favorite subject is themselves. If you're good and can hold rapport, it's possible to associate yourself with the positive feelings they have about the company. Not to get too far into the weeds of NLP "woo" shit, but there is some definite psychology behind th…

What would you say to her if she was a 6 or 7? That.

Just... uh, make sure you check six at all times, unless you're okay with that sort of thing.

Red Man Group on You Tube is my weekly go-to. Hosted by the guys from the 21 Convention, and Rollo is a regular on the panel. They have a lot of good content on their channel, too.

Part of me thinks you're trolling with that last bit, but you're not wrong. Burns like a motherfucker for five or six minutes, but an hour later, no sign of razor burn.

I don't really think about it in the moment because I've been a natural smartass all my life and just respond to things when they happen with whatever occurs to me then and there. However, there is one thing I am cognizant of that might help. A little rule I have that says the more outrageous and ridiculous the tease, the more serious, stoic, and deadpan my expression usually is. If it's something that could be misinterpreted as a legit hurtful comment, I keep the sly smirk fully engaged.

Is that a million after taxes? Are you American? If so, Cryptos are taxable events. Sure, you could do that rebel without a cause thing and say "fuck the IRS", but the IRS fucks a hell of a lot harder.

Everything that everyone's applied to make their lives better and to get girls is the sum total of their experience plus red pill philosophy. The sidebar is the foundational stuff. There's no one source for "the answer". This isn't like some goofy pheromone product that you're supposed to spray on and have everything fall into place. Read the sidebar. Then read the main TRP subreddit. Look for the flaired posters and read what they have to say. Find instances in your past that could have gone di…

And then to celebrate, you suck your buddy's dick because fuck dem hoes, amirite? OP, it should be clear now. Ghost her. She doesn't give a shit about you, so why invest all this energy agonizing over it?

I'm 45. While I've known RP principles now on an instinctual level for a few years, the scales didn't come off my eyes until I read TRM for the first time last year. It's never too late. He'll either accept it or reject it, but at least you tried.

Leave your dad a copy of The Rational Male on your way back to college. Do it now if you don't mind dealing with the fallout while you're there, assuming he's willing to read it.

I did walk away with the greatest "You think your break-up was bad!" story ever told, so there is that. Heh... I'm still early on my own red pill awakening, but I don't mind using my own story to try to help a brother out.

I'm going to give you a quick cliff's notes nutshell version of my story. And I mean super condensed. Here it goes. Met a girl online (was not looking, it just happened), 12 years my junior. She lived across the country. I visited a few times. Sparks seemed to fly (good kind) Fucked around and fell in love. Let her pressure me to move up sooner than I'd planned. Moved there at great cost to myself. No exit strategy, because I was a cucked puppy in love at the time. She then pressured the marriag…

My point is twofold: 1. Hitting chicks, even if they deserve it, will never fly in today's society, as others have already said. 2. By disengaging, you are maintaining control of yourself. "Officer, he lost control and punched that woman." Bam. No going back from that, and social media will ensure your reputation is completely nuked. There's only so far DGAF will take you. A woman hits you, you maintain control and walk the fuck away. Now if you're dealing with a psycho bitch swinging a metal po…

That's immature pride talking. But hey, you do you. Pick a fight with some girl, let her land a good punch and then beat that hoe to the floor. Let's see how that works out for you.

Deflect and extricate. There is no fucking way you can hit a woman back in anger and not have repercussions that will burn your ass for the rest of your life in these days of smartphones and social media. No woman -- good or bad--is worth that.

You have to calibrate your clothes just like anything else. Don't wear a tailored Armani suit to the beach, for example. Nice clothes can just mean good condition, clean, good fit, coordinated, and not dated to oblivion. Also helps to not wear anything loud and obnoxious, unless that's your peacocking strategy.

Mine was from high school. She eventually met a guy who was alpha as fuck, Much respect to him. She gave him 3 kids, and they're still a thing. I'm well past the one-itis and am actually happy for her. I know a lot of people posture and talk about how marriage is a bad thing, but in their case, they seem to be making it work. Kids are well-behaved and not whiny little products of a post modern parenting scheme. We have mutual friends, so I see them from time to time at community events. Hey, som…

Not sure what sort of work you do, so can't say how this will apply, but I work with a guy who is straight up Cluster B. He's got an overinflated ego and thinks he's the absolute shit. He walks around acting like a faux Alpha, but his problem is his ass can't cash the checks his mouth writes. He's a complete fuck up. Management knows this and the only reason he hasn't been fired is because his work is "adequate". Not exceptional or noteworthy, just baseline. Oh he tries to act like he's the best…
