This question without your goals and wants/needs is pointless. This could be exactly what some guys are looking for. Maybe you don’t want to have sex often and you want a partner to spend time with and raise her kids in return for a clean home 🤷🏽‍♂️

Sounds like a blessing in some circumstances.

Kids would prefer parents in happy homes than a broken home. We’re splitting up now and selling soon, we don’t want but ny wife is a paramedic and is gone often and I try to be gone when she’s gone. My daughter is 4 so not so crazy yet but she already asks constantly where we are.

I’m about 2 months into separation. I’ve decided not to date till my head is together. She however is dating someone. I’m open to hookups. But not a relationship. My mental is a mess. Not fair to expose anyone else to that.

9.5 years together and she never called me a name.

Adultery isn’t a reason for a court to award sole custody one way or another though it can be used to determine fault in the marriage as in “abandoning” the marriage and one can be awarded some sense of a benefit or at least a forfeiture of what she can demand. But it won’t affect custody. Cheating makes you a bad spouse not a bad parent unfortunately in the eyes of courts.

To be clear, by the time this is over she will have gotten roughly 50k out of me on home equity and a car that IM paying for, along with some agreed upon support payments. I’m just choosing the shortest distance between two points.

I’m in the process. Fortunately my marriage has been dead for 5 years or so and my wife and I are friends but not really hung up on each other. Doesn’t change the fact that I believe the process is the same regardless, the only difference being length of time it takes. You have to find yourself by yourself again. Find hobbies, get to the gym, travel, spend time in sunlight, and most importantly. Talk to every woman you meet. Build up comfort with the opposite sex and make communication second na…

Man they aren’t that complicated but explaining it can be. Just be yourself but remember women like to feel wanted but not smothered. It’s a balance. I don’t think I’ve ever sent a good morning text to a woman after a first or second date. I don’t like texting though so maybe I’m different.

I just talk to as many women as possible. Attractive, unattractive. Who cares. If she’s cool and we can have a good time great. Spoiler alert, women like sex too. Just throw the fishing line out and see what happens! Also I’m short. 5’7” and had a ton of success with taller women. I go hogging too. Whatever works. I’d say I’m a 7.5/8? Pretty good lookin and successful job so I’m sure that backs up my confidence but I also remember 14 years ago when I was 21, blew my paycheck in a weekend, and st…

Appreciate your input, but you may underestimate how little I care if my she explores her dating options. My wife spends multiple nights a week out staying somewhere I don’t know. Could be her friend’s place, could be a man’s, I truly couldn’t care any less. Whatever makes her happy. I’ve been emotionally done for years and am more than ready to have the paper signed and see us both move on to potentially greener pastures. That said, as much as she says the same about me. I do know that women te…

Ultimately I think that’s the best outlook. I don’t plan to develop anything serious while going through the separation, let alone something serious right after. I’ve been mulling over everyone’s input and that’s sort of the idea I’m forming though. No girlfriend, but perhaps having a friend that’s a girl isn’t the worst thing. I need to form a new circle of friends and acquaintances as ultimately my circle was 95% hers. If I didn’t have a child I’d be moving for sure, that’s nothing against my …

Women are 50% of the population bro! Theyre everywhere. You just gotta develop some confidence to talk to them in places outside of bars. I flirt in the grocery store, DMV, hospital. Wherever 😂. You know when you hit it off in conversation and want to shoot the shot asking for a number. Or just just Hinge

I have a 4 year old and we have a split custody agreement already prepared for when we finally sell the house and move on. I’m very fortunate to have family around who act as free day care and babysitters whenever we call. I hope you’re able to find the time or a way to make time for yourself my man! Stay strong!

Yeah one rule my wife and have set is that serious relationships that hit 12 months that we intend to carry on forever are the only ones we can introduce to our kid. Short/long term flings are inappropriate. I’m in no rush to go from relationship to relationship. But I do enjoy a woman’s company now and then. Fun to talk to and boy it sure does feel nice to be liked lmao. I forgot what that feels like.

We have a kid. But like I said, wasn’t looking for advice, just people to share their experiences on the subject.

Appreciate that thought. I already had my man whore era in my early 20s in the military. Spent a ton of time in Asia and Europe and the quantity over quality thing in the states. Eventually I learned quality was best and I started doing what you said and chose an approach of getting to know the women before engaging in whatever we engaged in and it was great for a while till I met my wife. Less bad experiences and more fun memorable ones. That’s the approach I’m taking now. I’m almost 34, not lo…

I think the logistics is one of the things I get concerned about. Clearly my house is off limits, I also have a 4 year old, and come with some obvious baggage that could be a turnoff for anyone, even someone looking for a good time for a short time. But I’m not a liar so I’ll be honest and if someone ain’t interested, there’s plenty of em out there 😂

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
