In that case, since her words and actions are incongruent, I'd say it was a test to find out how interested you are in her. It's kind of like how girls will say shit like "I'm so ugly" etc to fish for compliments. So she's basically asking, "are you OK with us being just friends?" One possible outcome would be you saying "I'm not OK with that, I want to be more than friends," but whatever you say, the idea is that it will reveal your interest or lack of interest or whatever. Or in pua terms, she…

Truth, overthinking is a symptom of uncertainty/inexperience. Incidentally why the common "just don't overthink it" isn't really helpful advice.

Good distinction, OP is talking about a context where you know someone over a longer time period and Pit_Sweat is thinking in cold approaches.
/r/seduction07/01/15 06:54 AM
2

Situational factors are not beyond knowing. "She's in a hurry and needs to be somewhere" can only have "nothing to do with you" if you believe you have no role in noticing someone is in a hurry. Likewise for "She's in a bad mood and doesn't want to talk to you" and "it's that time of month." A simpler thing to say (that's also less of a big claim) might have been: don't take rejection personally.

Compatibility is when you're both into each other. At this point it should be obvious she wasn't that into you ("she said that after hanging out with me those times she realized it wasn't gonna go anywhere for her"). You have a lot to learn.

Attribution error. The value of your attention is based not on how much you ignore people (what a lark) but by your social value. Of course, do manage your time; don't take that for granted. Whatever/whoever you choose to give your attention to should be worth it. But if you decided someone's cool why would you ignore them? And if you decided someone's not cool why are you spending time with them? That's incongruent.

Whatever your "supply" is your conversion rate is like 0%. "It's OK I have high supply" is a shitty excuse. That's exactly what I'm talking about. Trying to have sex with people primarily to find out if you're able to or to justify some bragging strikes me as the mindset of someone who is very insecure. I think you and I have very different goals regarding seduction and meeting women.

It's true that it's good to get out of your comfort zone, but I think you're taking this too far. "IF YOU DIDN'T FUCK HER IT'S MENTAL MASTURBATION BRO." I mean, it's not a failure if you don't fuck every girl that's above a 5; that just sounds like a mega-needy/seduction robot mindset.

Nice write-up. You strike me as a practical and contemplative person. I'd like to share some thoughts related to "wow that was easy/I'm surprised at the connection we formed." Being forward in small things like proactively introducing yourself and "mini-escalations" (good eye contact, positive tonality, smiling) goes a disproportionately long way towards "getting girls to like you." I call them mini-escalations because they're similar to escalations in that you normally don't do them to people y…

Seriously though, no time at all. It's very quick. Also I don't really think it makes sense to frame it as giving up or quitting because there is a much bigger picture to look at. Like you can forfeit a match of chess and it's not like you're giving up chess entirely or losing anything, really... even if it was a match you really wanted to win. This might come off as an arcane semantics point though.

Haha no, I mean if there are 5-10k compatible girls in the world there may be only 2 in your town (depending on your town). So location cuts down a lot of opportunity. But my point is the same as yours, you start out with a big number ("lots of fish in the sea") but it may not end up so big after all's considered.
/r/seduction20/09/14 01:48 PM

A small number. Depending on where you live the concentration of compatibles may be more or less. If you happen to live/work in a less populated area there may not be a lot of opportunity to match - randomly, there may be two "right" girls or there may be none. (Conversely, if you're a Hipster in Portland there may be a lot)

You could approach 1 woman every second for the rest of your life and still not make a dent in the entire female population. The entire female population is not a great reference point because not every living female is relationship material. You've yet to account for potentially important factors such as: not already married/in a relationship fluent in the same language same religious denomination within a preferred age range (a 10 year range, say) nonfat Those are all big cuts. That's something girls say to each other when they get broken up with, something sprouted from the same place as "he doesn't deserve you anyway" "there's someone for everyone" and also "just be yourself." You have to suppose people are trying to be nice when they say this stuff but it's pretty harmful to actually believe. Besides, virginity isn't an immutable aspect of him. When he loses his virginity he'll be the same person, for better or for worse.

People are binary in their judgements; this applies just as much to men. In either case what it comes down to is they'd either fuck you or they wouldn't fuck you and they treat you accordingly. After the first 800 matches, Jamieson refined his approach leading to more than 2,000 matches. He increased the first-response rate from 8 percent to 18 percent of matches who texted him first. So how did he increase women who contacted him by 125 percent? If you look at the first photo, the way he edited it is really awful, that's how. There's no control group of how many responses he gets without a "badge."

Usually these friends would filter themselves around you. This is the man version of body-image issues. Women have body image issues when they don't feel desirable and men have self-image issues when they don't feel powerful (or respected, or in control, however you want to think of it). More evidence! "Arousal is associated with anxiety... People who suffer from anxiety disorders tend to have abnormal and amplified perceptions of arousal. The distorted perceptions of arousal then create fear and distorted perceptions of the self. For example, a person may believe that he or she will get sick from being so nervous about taking an exam. The fear of the arousal of nervousness and how people will perceive this arousal will then contribute to levels of anxiety." - Objective and perc…

Some guys did an experiment that showed people don't know the source of their emotions. We semi-consciously attribute them to the wrong source (we know we're doing it, but it's more or less automatic).

it took me about a year to become fluent in French How's your accent? My definition of fluency is that native speakers can't tell you're not one. I find it takes about a year to lose your accent in a dialect of the same language (for example, going from British to American English) but I've rarely known people "fluent" in their second languages unless they're children of immigrants (started young).

If you're going to compliment someone's clothing, a better thing to say would be "I like (those shoes) with (that scarf)." Something they matched or a theme they had. Something worn in an unusual way. Target your compliment where they put effort. edit: or something they don't get all the time. I'll always remember the time I got complimented on my collarbones.

Success in traditional business is largely predicated on social signalling. That includes common language (industry specific jargon), dress, appearance, educational background, common institutions, etc. These are all heuristics to demonstrate value and social status. If the person determines that your value is equal or greater than their own, they will be interested in doing business with you, or atleast be interested in learning more about you and your product. This is just evolutionary biology…

But I also know that men who are very successful are quick to dismiss the lower echelons, and that's called arrogance. The dissatisfaction in the comments is over the lack of content in his post. Well that was tongue-in-cheek advice; I didn't really know whether she wanted the d. I always assume she does, though.

Beta response, bro. You were trying to enliven social dynamics in the workplace and give everyone a more satisfied love life, resulting in more efficient task management and less necessary upper-level intervention. Also, she wants the d.

I remember the analysis of being held at gunpoint. If someone points a gun at you, the odds of them actually taking a shot at you is about 20%. If they do shoot, even at point blank range, the odds of them hitting you are about 20%. If they do hit you, the odds of it being fatal are about 20%. The smart choice is always to run. This is mindblowing. I wonder what % of people do choose to run when they have a gun pointed at them—flight response should be pretty strong.

I realize he was trying too hard. I actually pointed out that he sounds ridiculous when trying to qualify himself. The cell phone line bites. That's why I suggested different ones. He asked for help. Neither he nor I claimed he was a PUA, but instead of saying "you suck dude that chick totally blew you off" I said "this is better than stunned silence; try it next time." He may very well be in high school. When I read his stories they sounded a lot like tests. I can see a case for the girl being …

When it comes to dating there are a lot of statistics regarding race... Where are you finding these awfully specific statistics? I would love to have a look. You're a gentleman and scholar, by the way.

I have had mixed success approaching East Asian girls... For Indian girls, my outcome has been complete rejection. Every single time. Most Asian men I know aren't into black girls either. Wondering why? First generation immigrants from China have a tendency to be suspicious and xenophobic, because in their birth country everyone is trying to rip you off all the time. Whatever you may have read about us being a superpower in 2021, China is a "developing country," and when I last visited ('06) the…

It doesn't sound like you did anything wrong; you were just being tested--which is a good thing. I'm sure you've read the guide in the sidebar, but here are sample responses: you're ugly Are you checking me out? I don't even know you That's too bad / Sucks to be you. Why are you making fun of me? You're just too cute. You'd get more girls if you were nice. Nobody told me you gave dating lessons!

How [do I] to determine whether I'm just being a complete jerk? If nobody laughed, it wasn't funny. If it's just the two of you and she doesn't laugh, it wasn't funny. I don't have any problem if someone likes me or not You are asking for advice on how to make girls like you.

Insightful+relevant; comment worthy of a TED talk. This should be on /r/todayilearned. Maybe it already was and I missed it. Shit. Never letting my ladies get botox.

While all this is true, you're addressing why anyone might have a negative view of the seduction community, and I think it's kind of missing the point. Let's refresh on what OP wrote. While I was browsing a subforum dedicated exclusively to hating on things... everybody was incredibly negative about this subreddit People go to /r/cringe to look for things that increase their cortisol. That's literally in the sidebar: "a place for those videos you see that are too embarrassing to watch all the wa…
