I'd like to address this in good faith, you may have heard that countries with the highest rated 'gender equality' measures also show that more men go into STEM and more women end up in care-taking roles (nursing, education, etc). If gender roles don't exist, then gendered preferences certainly do and it's also evident that gendered capabilities exist as well, the most obvious being childbirth... so no I don't think gender roles are antiquated but they shouldn't be taken as a rule but more as a …

TALK to the man! My first girl i had NO IDEA what kind of behavior was appropriate in public with her and so I shut everything down. And there is still a good possibility you're being played but you gotta talk to the man.

I had an absolute lad of a buddy of mine take a 'female only' scholarship because on his college forms he was accidentally registered as female and he's just been rolling with it.

How often do you come across a situation where people don't listen to your input? I had a female robot programmer working alongside us once and she had to repeat herself a LOT in some of the tech meetings.

My 2c? Women entering male dominated industries are praised by Media but in real life, there's a lot of assumptions about women in male dominated spaces... She's slept her way to the top, only a diversity hire, getting special treatment, etc. Women often get less harsh reprimands but also have a lot more >.< Suspicion leveled at them. As to the women in physical jobs? I've seen 2 kinds. One kind is just a person working a job, one of the bois. I've seen women who integrate into the team and the …

That's gonna be a long bridge to mend, and truthfully I've seen it work out. Takes dedication from both and quite frankly, it's difficult to get rid of resentment. idk what evolutionary trigger caused us to develop resentment but it's a deep one. Either way, I wish you the best dude.

I agreed to marriage counseling and we went within days of her revelation. The first thing the therapist did after we told her why were there was look at my wife and say, with incredulity, "Why on earth did you tell him!?" Wow ok I have to know, what was your wife's response to that? Did you guys go to a different counsellor? you guys ok now?

Elective Abortion is just the name we call abortions that aren't predicated by other necessity... some would call it 'voluntary' or maybe even 'unnecessary' abortions. IANAL ymmv

"You're not allowed to complain because it happens less to you" seems like OP was correct, in his assumption that there is little compassion for men in that situation.

Frequency may be lopsided, and that's an issue that needs to be addressed... but there is absolutely a double-standard as to how society perceives those who do abandon their loved ones.

My experience has been this and I now leverage it. I go after the friend of a friend. Every SO i've got worked through that mechanic. It also helps leverage a wider circle, and you don't have the daunting cliff of cold starts.

While it's not a fair comparison, it still happens and it's still something we should work on. Yes female GM is bad but can we agree that make GM is also bad?

Also when a woman wears no makeup, at least I'm my experience, it kind of signifies a certain level of intimate trust, allowing us to see the truer you. Makeup and dress up to me at least seems like a front and a mask for the world, and the home and messy girl is for my eyes only. Makes me feel Special.

It's almost like men who want relationships take personality into account hmmm hmmm hmm /cheeky on a real note, I've a friend like this, introverted, very pretty, but doesn't get along with many people. People like that need to rely on extroverts to connect them to other people, and it's hard getting that first extrovert connection lol.

Ok so instead of jumping on the "ur a shitbaguette" train like the downvoting fairies are, lets initiate a conversation. The statement: "isn't JP alt-right" sparks a lot of red flags for me, and the issue is, I don't know what you mean when you say "alt-right" i don't think he's alt-right, but my definition of alt-right is "the far right" and "nationalists" etc. The thing is, JBP stands for individualism, the rights of the individual, and self-improvement through reflection and action. None …

It's simple things, really. Being able to make jokes, and sometimes entire conversations out of old references, sending cryptic texts at random times knowing that he'll know exactly what I mean by it. We know each other well enough that we don't have to ask what's wrong, we already know. Problem is, that we've gotten an expectation that that's 'normal' and every friendship since has seemed shallow.

Twin here. We have the bonus of always having someone who shares an extremely deep and complex bond.... Downside is, now that I have lived with such bond, all other connections are seemingly shallow and fake even if they might be normal

Yup. I feel it too. Oodles of resentment from me towards the far left and the 3rd wave feminists. Saw a guy the other day who sincerely wrote a paper about why we should kill all whites... If you don't value my life then I'm glad to return the favor. You want to play dirty? Fine, I'm going to play dirty, and I'm going to Win.

doing things in school and after that look good on a resume; e.g. BSA, Science Olympiad, and other projects. Basically anything that will make an employer think you're that much more interesting or worthy.

I know in australia, the postal service switched to genderless resumes for interviews and the men got like a 20% increase in intervews. Almost like men are raised to have a career and fight for themselves since highschool and women are raised to be women. Like even in high school I was thinking about resume padding.

Something my psyche teacher was saying is that anger can always be rooted to fear. Fear that you're wrong, fear of humiliation, fear of something... Powerlessness can be scary so maybe there's something there?
