My prison just switched from female to male. In the first 4 months of the switch 7 females were fired for relations with an inmate and several more still under investigation. In the 5 years before that only 2 males C/o's quit while under investigation for relations with an inmate. Shit is wild and caught everyone off guard.

Helping someone being assaulted or raped whether man or woman is just being a decent human being. Don't ignore a crime because of prejudice.

Hell in my prison (female inmates) I was treated like a rapist for the first month being reminded constantly not to fuck the inmates but a majority of the stories I hear are female officers fucking male inmates.

Thing is prisons are a business. I work at a female compound and we still need male inmates to come over and fix our shit. Female inmates also require more from the state which costs more money. Keeping women out of jail and keeping men in jail is all part of the business.

HA I work at a female prison and I had one inmate tell me what she got life for. She told me a man slapped her on the side walk in front of her house so she told him to wait a second and went inside to get a gun. Emptied the clip in him.

It's like that for corrections as well. Most female officers are moved from their 12 hour shifts and having to work with inmates to an 8 hour mon-fri office job helping with paperwork and maybe having to deal with an orderly.

Why didn't he just walk away and ignore when she started? No reason to stick around and let your anger build up.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
