Sorry about that. Would you like it if I deleted my post? I didn't know it was here already.

Please continue to give enough shits to tell me how indifferent you are to more things.

Well if she really doesn't want to change her name, she shouldn't have to. And it's up to her and her SO to hash it out. But if that makes her selfish and unreasonable, then the end result should please you because she's no longer influencing that mans life. I'm not saying all of her life choices are in that one decision. But humor the idea that it WAS significant to her career. It would have affected it negatively for the sake of a bad relationship.

The gym and diet are good choices. But not to just meet a man's "minimum standards". It helps build self confidence in yourself and that's a very important character trait. Someone explained it as having something to do with women thinking about it more, or self harming, but men tend to go straight for the kill (no pun intended) when trying. They don't as often play around with cutting or self hurting. I think it had something to do with how women are more hesitant with decisions, and think of everything like friends and family. Where as men tend to make up their mind and are more decisive normally, so just go ahead with it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
