Long time lurker, first time poster. I'll try to keep this short and sweet.

Is it too late to bother trying to attract a good man for a relationship at 30? I see people mentioning "the wall", and I would like to try and age gracefully regardless of whether or not there's a meaningful relationship in my future. Of course, I would greatly prefer if there was a possibility for a meaningful relationship.

Some background info: I'm 28 years old, never married, no kids, and I've only ever had one relationship. It's not due to high standards, but rather low self-esteem and depression. My heart seems to be with the ideals of gracefulness, femininity, and just generally being a good, supportive woman. But I gave up on myself before I even became an adult because I thought I was too ugly, fat and stupid to ever be of any value. My asking age is 30, because right now I'm not the woman I want to be.
