I feel like this resonates with me, with all the conspiracy theorism, NWO, fear of "female behaviour" - what you just said. I'd never found a way to articulate with words what It feels like, but terms like "amygdala hijack", and "cognitive distortions", definetly seems to fit the description of how I felt on the red-pill.

Thank you as well. I feel as though the friends I had also contributed to my descent into red-pill beliefs for the most part. It started off inocuosly with dating advice and what not "hold frame", "Lift", and then slowly ramped up into more extreme territory, such as RooshV, Return of Kings, anti-political correctness, and eventually conspiracy theorism and eschatology. I also was forcing myself to get up at 4:30 in the morning, even though I didn't want to because its what "successful people do…

Thank you, it was a lot of mental and physical anguish that I inflicted on myself for years, trying to live up to some kind of standard. Beginning in high-school was when I read all that "self-development" / red-pill stuff, "don't do this, and do this or your a LOSER!" Forcing myself to wake up early before school around 4:00, even If I "didn't want to", because billionaires and other successful people supposedly wake up early all the time. Just silly stuff like that.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
