[deleted by user]And see what, exactly? The ICU filled with people on ventilators slowly dying from COVID because they didn’t get vaccinated? Why is this specific vaccine infringing on our rights so much? Tons of other vaccines have been mandatory for a long time in order to fully participate in our society. The lockdowns from people not getting vaccinated seem like much larger infringements on our freedoms than getting the vaccine itself. I’m not sure I understand your argument here. I acknowledge there is a sh… | /r/seduction | 16/09/21 01:13 AM
[deleted by user]If you are really a frontline worker, you would see how many people are dying from covid, and horrible and debilitating it can be. I lost family members and friends due to being full of their own ignorance and refusing to get the vaccine or take covid-related health mandates seriously. So it’s a topic that I care deeply about. Your argument is based on the fallacy of authority and anecdotal evidence which is hearsay. There is absolutely no logical substance to it. I provided peer-reviewed statis… | /r/seduction | 15/09/21 11:43 PM
[deleted by user]You should definitely not respect all opinions! Many horrible opinions have been given way too much traction throughout history: Nazi opinion towards non-whites and jews American opinion towards African Americans (slavery, inequality, racism) American opinion towards women (voting rights, land ownership, employment opportunities, education) The list goes on and on… There are many stupid opinions that should not be respected and instead shunned, as they inhibit societal progress, and inflict harm… | /r/seduction | 15/09/21 09:34 PM
[deleted by user]I just don’t like when new lockdowns are enforced and healthcare is denied because hospitals get filled up with COVID patients (99% of which are unvaccinated). Not to mention costing tax payers much more money than what a vaccine shot costs. So your selfish choice is negatively affecting society as a whole, while being founded on a basis of ignorance and irresponsibility, which is why I dislike you for having it. | /r/seduction | 15/09/21 09:11 PM
[deleted by user]I wasn’t referring to the mortality rate, I was referring to the chance of long term symptoms similar to what it seemed you were referring to with the vaccine. There is about a 10% chance of having long term symptoms from COVID (see sources I provided). I don’t respect your opinion or your choice and think they are stupid based on the evidence that is available. However you are free to have them. | 3 | [deleted by user]You’re at much much higher risk of having lasting adverse side effects if you actually catch covid. Considering the vaccine is extremely effective at preventing these, it makes the vaccine by far the lesser of two evils. For reference, nearly 23% of covid patients develop long lasting symptoms, with up to 10% overall. For the vaccine, it is 1 in 100,000, to 1 in 12.8 million for serious side effects (like the ones you mentioned). So, in essence, you’re about 100,000 to million times more likely … | /r/seduction | 15/09/21 08:35 PM
