Sounds like you got the one non crazy one that was out there. Sorry about the cheating but it’s just flesh.

The court didn’t overrule the GAL, the opposing counsel didn’t agree to the recco and the judge asked us to go to conciliation to avoid trial. I don’t think I can avoid trial at this stage. But the judge didn’t seem too interested in doing anything, like her job.

This is awesome. Congrats. How did you even go about learning how to do this? I’m intrigued…

Thabks. I don’t plan to. Once I realized logic had no seat at the table and it was all based on preference, I knew I was in a dangerous atmosphere. It’s crazy my freedom of speech could get me a jail sentence for telling a judge I’m on to the tactics and extortion of the family court system against fathers.

Nothing you do will ever be enough. Don’t let yourself keep living this way. Just get out and get away and start something new.

I’m in Mass as well and just filed a mod for 50/50. Kids are 14, 12, 10. I asked to have a meeting to discuss the desires of our children wanting a fair 50/50 split. Kids therapists have a been involved and we had a joint meeting to discuss my son’s sadness of wanting 50/50 along with mom’s refusal to accommodate. Ex is not interested in discussing anything at all and said it will be figured out in court. From what you are going through, can you share any tips? I’m really hoping my support order…

I wish you the best. It’s awful and gut wrenching what we have to go through. Stay positive.

Guess I’m as deep as a puddle. Yes we men are stupid. And we probably drive woman crazy. But the crazy is always there regardless.

Be aware, she can always call the cops and get a 209A restraining order even if there is no reason. At least in MA, all they have to do is say they feel an objectively reasonable fear and imminence of danger. Doesn’t even need to be proven. My ex did this and got me out of the house without warning. No separation, nothing. Hopefully you’re dealing with a somewhat sane individual. Hang in there. It does get better but it takes a long time. 4 years later and I’m still dealing with BS and heartache…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
