"poor" means different things to different people. Besides no health insurance, what sort of things could you not afford?

Nice man! I think you're pretty successful at it if you don't have to supplement it with a part time job. Maybe it could even be considered an above average career job.

How do I stop being negative. But I'm having trouble telling if I have a negative attitude towards life and /or enjoy talking about negative things, etc.

Thanks for sparing. And yes I am doing. Lost 20 pounds already. Got the acceptance email for a 10 day meditation retreat in 2020 a few days ago. Touring MMA gym next week, Improv comedy class in January. But I had a bad date last week. Very frustrating, I don't know how much longer this dry spell will be, and what it will take to have abundance.

I think a 7 day ban is a bit extreme. I still think it is a good question, I was hoping members would share the personal experiences, what was easier or harder. I think a couple years ago I asked something similar (how long to become alpha) and it wasn't an issue at all.

I look very young. I probably look like a college student to most people but I'm 34.

What do you do in regards to girls judging you for living at home? If youre in college this probably is not a big deal.
/r/seduction08/12/19 10:06 PM

Right. I have a business that is starting to take off. I'm building reserves, reinvesting... I think I'll be good soon.

Yes it would. If there are 100 men and 100 women on an island, and 30 of the men are "out of market" for various reasons, the gender ratio would be skewed in favor of men.

But if I don’t, I’ll have to go on a shit ton of dates.... it’s going to be a dealbreaker with most girls.

I want to screen girls. I don’t want to go on dates and get rejected 90% of the time in he first 15 minutes.
/r/askTRP24/02/19 05:19 PM

Nope. If I leave out a description of my career I get a decent amount of matches

Gotcha, thanks. I do agree with you about 35 y.o. hanging out with college kids but I don't see what's wrong with a couple guys sitting at a bar. I mean some bars lean young, but there are plenty where a middle aged person would be welcome.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/19 05:09 PM

Why do you find hanging out with couples easier?

Nothing is quite as pathetic as seeing a 35 year old guy who thinks he is still 20 hanging with a bunch of college kids, who are too nice to tell the old guy it's time to go out to pasture because his time has come and gone. The above applies to women too. But yes, as your friends get married and have kids the single friend gets left behind. So if you plan on staying single, it is important to continue self-development and not just continue to live in the bygone days of you Could you go into exa…

I'm trying that, it hasn't worked yet. But I think in most cases you're seen as a barista with a property, not a land lord. It's seen as more of an investment...not a career choice.

Resume gap is quite large. I even tried working with temp agencies, only 1 got back to me and he couldn't get me interviews. Also the previous industry I was in is getting offshored pretty heavily.

My worry is that in a couple years I’ll be forced to date one. Dating is hard as it is right now... if single moms became 1/2 the site I might have to end up settling for one

I'm following this thread pretty closely because I'm 33 and I'm going EXACTLY what you're going through. Meetup in my city is pretty popular and I did meet some people, we even went on a road trip to Canada together. I hate to tell you this but most normal people are married by our age. I remember in college I had 2 friends that were athletes and there "alphaness" rubbed off on me. Very very different with these new "friends"... Often the people still single and looking to meet new friends in th…

Well I guess I don't feel as accomplished as others in my early 30s and looking for inspiration. Regarding success with men vs women....I see what you're saying, but the fact is that most TRPers are going to get married/settle down, and the benefits of skills with women are going to almost dissipate... I guess maintaining a LTR of course, but in the end all you're going to be able to do is reminisce and your cold approach skills will be resting in the garage

Well IME most of my "successful friends" were already on the track. Law school/med school/top tier MBA Or already had semi-prestigious careers like programming

I know what you're saying, but you need to be practical. I mean if the choice is going to eliminate 90% of my options and be a -35/100 to my SMV, it's something that shouldn't be thought of lightly. I know it sucks putting the woman in control but that's the reality.

but I already have wealth (the soon to be paid off invesetment property)

Bartenders of course. But I'm in my early 30s, girls want betabux now ( I usually match with girls +-2 years in age.) Plus I'm having a hard time as it is now right now (I'm a babyfaced Asian), not sure if my SMV can take a big hit in the career department.

Sorry to hear that man about your "hand of cards". Now this is unconventional advice and I'm gonna get hella downloaded. Here goes: My parents are from a 3rd world Asian country. Sometimes I go on vacation there and I see 60+ y.o fat white guys with 18+y.o slim women. I think that's your best bet. Not what you wanted to hear but the fact is that if guys like me (above average social skills, above average looks and personality) are struggling with r/seduction, you don't stand a chance.
/r/seduction17/09/18 04:30 AM

Not to be an asshole, but if your description of yourself is correct you have to work out your "special issues". A guy with abnormal bad social skills is rarely going to be attractive. Sorry if I was a dick.
/r/seduction16/09/18 05:23 AM

I have no problem getting matches, it's just with girls that are average. I want girls that are more physically attractive. There are you happy? You're over intellectualizing.
/r/seduction15/09/18 05:07 AM

Are you serious? 80% of guys do it. Why do we have to be politically correct on a pickup subreddit? Go back to r/feminism

I remember reading that in college hoping it would make me a ton of friends and get me laid haha. It was a very disappointing read, I can't believe its one of the most read books of all time. Here's a summary that's easier to read: https://www.hubspot.com/sales/how-to-win-friends-and-influence-people-summary

read your post slowly, word by word. Thanks man. You read me pretty well, your words resonated. I think I need to move abroad (even for just say 3 months). How do I know what country to go to?

What sort of social practice can I do once a week? Go to a meetup.com event?

I see what you're saying. But damn the feeling of doing a good set of bench...that's one of the best feelings in the world tbqh. My friend got a rack for his house and it was 1k. No one to spot you either. I'd hate to buy it and stop using it after 3 weeks too.

Never really had FOMO because I always knew if I got back into the game and really pushed myself I'd get something decent. Good luck man!

Well I know if I put more work into my dating life, I had success. I'm honestly thinking about MGTOW, I'm that happy. EDIT: This is getting downvoted so I'm putting in an edit. I'm not a virgin, but now that I have perspective...my standards were too high. I could never see myself with an average looking woman. And I'd rather fap than have intercourse for a woman below my standards.
