Read the book, "The Rational Male." I was like you, but reading it clicked immediately and probably changed my life more than I realize

As they should be, because massages are awesome. Sounds like you have a good thing going, so don't sweat it.
/r/askTRP27/09/18 03:22 PM

Absolutely. I'm only average SMV, and even I have had them.
/r/askTRP27/09/18 02:14 PM

Shit tests no man should deal with.
/r/askTRP27/09/18 02:13 PM
1

Here you go, OP
/r/askTRP27/09/18 02:07 PM
2

You're being insecure, I think. I probably wouldn't be too keen on servile roleplays in the longterm, though
/r/askTRP27/09/18 02:06 PM
2

It's very sly and covert behavior. Feminine, really-- I agree.
/r/TheRedPill27/09/18 01:39 PM
1

This is so incredibly convoluted and unrealistic that it makes me wonder if you've ever been in a real LTR. There's good advice here, but the overall post is one giant compromise between some RP fundamentals and feel-good dating advice.
/r/TheRedPill27/09/18 01:33 PM
14

That's basically what we call a "nuclear" shit test. that kind of behavior is a red flag that symbolizes danger, in my opinion. I'm a fan of using silence to let someone drown in their own mistakes or actions. It's fairly effective with women, too, since they thrive on attention. I'd never interact with her again.
/r/askTRP23/09/18 02:24 PM
1

Yeah, this is a very core concept.
/r/askTRP23/09/18 02:19 PM
5

Actually, I guess this is a good opportunity to challenge the "texting only for logistics" concept. I think that rule is more of a standard than a strict rule, personally.
/r/TheRedPill23/09/18 01:46 PM
2

This is what I was going to say, too. The concept of "leagues" are a path to failure.
/r/askTRP21/09/18 12:37 PM
1

It's a shit-test, yeah. I think the over responses are pretty great, so there you go!
/r/askTRP21/09/18 12:31 PM
2

Women are incapable of loving a man the way he expects to be loved. Judge women by their actions, not their words. As you can see, her behavior doesn't match what she says, and that has you feeling nervous and insecure. it's good that you haven't broken frame. I can't imagine she likes you very much. Do you guys even see each other? Is she crazy busy?
/r/askTRP21/09/18 12:27 PM
2

Quite right. The women do want LTRs will have to deal with a lot of men who lie about wanting the same. It also makes hitting the wall that much more painful.
/r/askTRP21/09/18 12:22 PM
3

An LTR at 17, huh? You're already off to a dismal start, but you can still "downgrade" your relationship to a plate. Is there a chance she had forgotten about the folder, or is it pretty obvious? Also, don't go through her phone-- you're being insecure.
/r/askTRP21/09/18 12:17 PM
1

Yep. Y'all are fucking up on the basic fundamentals!
/r/askTRP21/09/18 12:13 PM
1

I guess it's good that you learned this lesson at such a young age. Hypergamy, war brides, the disconnect between words and actions, the list goes on with women. This is why we spin plates.
/r/TheRedPill20/09/18 01:42 PM
1

You're basically just talking about the feminine imperative with a weird emphasis on taxes.
/r/TheRedPill20/09/18 01:40 PM
1

Kind, sweet, and pleasant doesn't necessarily mean interesting. Some great women are simply too passive, in my experience, but don't worry. They've said the same thing about "nice guys," too.
/r/askTRP20/09/18 01:36 PM
1

here is your answer, OP
/r/askTRP20/09/18 01:35 PM
1

Well, here's the good news: though it doesn't feel like it, 18 is very young! You have a lot of time to change, and you will grow one way or the other. You sound similar to me in a lot of ways, so maybe your perfectionism stems from low self-esteem. If so, I think you should begin to consistently challenge your fears and practice goal completions with realistic standard. Be more pragmatic, yeah? The phrase, "good enough," should now be a staple in your lexicon when you complete a task. Keep this…
/r/askTRP20/09/18 01:34 PM
2

You only feel like a POS because they're women. If they were men you probably wouldn't give af. You ARE their whiteknight bitch, which is why you're here. You can't negotiate attraction-- either fuck without mentioning the project or forget it.
/r/askTRP20/09/18 01:10 AM
1

what does that mean, though? it is the way you talk? Dress? mannerisms?
/r/askTRP19/09/18 01:42 PM
1

Feminine imperative. Don't concern yourself with pillow princesses. Women who are good in bed don't have these problems or say such things. It's also why I've stopped eating pussy for the sake of getting women off; only generous women get the extra effort.
/r/askTRP19/09/18 01:37 PM
1

"FrankenChad" lmao. It's funny, but it's also true. When I was massively blue-pilled, I enabled a lot of horrible behaviors with an ex, even after we broke up and were "friends." One day I had had enough and finally snapped, shutting that shit down. Judging by her reaction, I think I was the first one to ever tell her to fuck-off, which makes me wonder if these cunts are simply enabled by a funeral procession of betas.
/r/askTRP19/09/18 01:33 PM
1

Why do you think you're gay? I mean, feminine in what way?
/r/askTRP19/09/18 01:27 PM
2

Betas are kind of like a safety net and a long-term strategy for women if all else fails. We're getting into a nature-vs-nuture situation here without any clear answers, but for the sake of conversation I'd say betas are a huge influence on female behavior. That's what the feminine imperative is, isn't it? A steady stream of beta men who exist to serve women.
/r/askTRP19/09/18 01:26 PM
17

There's nothing to know. Women don't operate on deductive logic like men do. Just drop her and let her face the wall of silence-- women absolutely hate it and it makes them feel like they may have made a mistake. Do not give her another moment of attention. I wish I had acted like you when my ex did the same thing. You will not regret it.
/r/askTRP17/09/18 01:33 PM
1

"Crazy" has been dangerously memed as if it were a phase or something ultimately benign, but the reality is that it can't be further from the truth. Crazy is often abusive and a detriment to your body and mind. There's no rules of standards with crazy. It's a total wildcard that does not give a fuck about anything.
/r/askTRP17/09/18 02:01 AM
16

TRP is what made me stop disliking women. It's like when those exotic pet owners are bitten by their own pets. You don't blame the pet, right? You blame the owner for being stupid enough to think that the animal would behave against millions of years of evolution. Anyway, to answer your question, yes, it's normal. There are stages of "grief" that come along with this stuff, and you're right in the middle of it.
/r/askTRP15/09/18 07:17 PM

Thanks for the book suggestion. I'll check it out.

/r/askTRP15/09/18 07:00 PM

What is this adding to the conversation?
/r/TheRedPill15/09/18 06:52 PM
1

No problem. Sorry you had to deal with this.
/r/askTRP15/09/18 03:39 PM
2

I don't think you should have expected her to be this much of a cunt, but women communicate and behave in a far more covertly fashion than men. They also have the responsibility of a toddler. In fact, she almost seems like she's getting off on the power she has over you. Remember, a man and a woman can't be friends., and there's an abundance of women out there, so I'd hard next this bitch and never look back. It's a good lesson.
/r/askTRP15/09/18 03:33 PM
1

Aside from being a cunt, do you have any guesses?
/r/askTRP15/09/18 03:23 PM
21

The same as you, honestly. It does mellow out, though. The biggest take away for me what that there is no rest. Frame is something you'll have to manage, often actively, for the remainder of your life. Such is the nature of humanity, I guess.
/r/askTRP15/09/18 03:16 PM
1

What exactly is the confusion here?
/r/askTRP15/09/18 03:13 PM
2

TRP isn't against marriage and LTR, and most of these guys will be in an LTR eventually. The recommended advice is to wait until you're older (30's), and as others have said, it's a calculated risk. TRP isn't even all that concerned with women, tbh. It's mostly about bettering yourself and living your own life how you see fit. Women are just an addition to that, whether it's a plate or an LTR, always maintain frame.
/r/TheRedPill15/09/18 12:40 PM

The general rule of thumb is ignoring her n-count because you will never know what the real number is, anyway. You should also never mention your own n-count, too.

You make generalizations everyday about far more important matters. Outliers are the results of filtering with TRP
/r/TheRedPill15/09/18 12:28 PM

I'm not implying anything. I'm telling you that you have not read the sidebar or you need to re-read the sidebar because you've forgotten the fundamentals.

It's never too late to read the sidebar.
/r/TheRedPill14/09/18 03:56 PM

Nicely done. It's very relevant to me because I struggle with analysis paralysis. Keep up the good work!

"Getting lucky" is a scarcity myth, which is definitely shitty. She's also likely suffering from competition anxiety and underestimated your SMV/ prize status. Remember, women want a man who *can* cheat on them, but *wouldn't*. I'm guessing her ego is bruised because she's getting a taste of her own medicine, really. This is why we spin plates, so ignore her and let he decide what she wants to do, if anything.
/r/askTRP14/09/18 01:24 PM

That just... sounds like a mess. I could not imagine hanging out with a girl who thinks a handjob is a good idea.
/r/askTRP14/09/18 01:15 PM

No and for a number of reasons, one of the main ones being fertility. Women lose fertility as early as their late 20's, and this comes with a lot of instinctual evolution to prefer women that signal fertility. Such a problem isn't as prevalent as with men, regardless of the economy.
/r/askTRP14/09/18 01:11 PM

I think a lot of the answers to the confusion you have are in the sidebar. OP's post assumes you are familiar with some of the concepts already, which is what I think is causing the problem for some readers.

I think there's a lot of good in this post. That said, it helps to break-up paragraphs into different sizes, even if they logically shouldn't. Large blocks of paragraphs make the reader feel fatigued.
/r/TheRedPill14/09/18 12:11 PM

yeah, that will solve everything. You're right.

You have a lot of good advice here. I hope you take it into serious consideration.

Nah, that's just feminine imperative shit that tries to restrain male SMV to older women. Disregard entirely.

That's a very important aspect of TRP, I think. It should never be promoted because those who want to seek it or suspect that there is another way will search it out and find it. It's absolutely fine.
/r/TheRedPill13/09/18 12:37 PM
3

This is a good post that reiterates the core points of TRP, and it does overcome ONEitis, for sure. However, I'd like to re-emphasize that if you're feeling and emptiness, you need to find a way to lead a fulfilling life without depending on a woman to give you meaning. Of course we are social animals and we need meaningful company, absolutely, but you need have a goal or a purpose in which you can invest yourself and grow as a person. An LTR is never a goal, it should always be second at best.

Of those guys who "get a grip on their urges and instincts" do so because of the feminine imperative, though? I know I used to.

What kind of high value man has to state rules?
/r/TheRedPill13/09/18 12:12 PM

That's everything that I was going to say. I don't know how much value there is in conversation with her at this point, but it's up to OP.
/r/askTRP12/09/18 11:08 PM

I don't think her age is as important as the other details, mainly being muslim and conservative. In general, women over 25 begin to start thinking about the future and looking for men who can offer a little more security than looks for the purpose of marriage, family, etc. (clearly not the case here?) Pretty interesting.
/r/askTRP12/09/18 11:04 PM
5

Short and succinct. We all slip-up and have bad days, but anything that is intentionally disrespectful or disrespectful and not followed-up by a sincere apology is game over. I actually had to do this recently which is what lead me to TRP
/r/askTRP12/09/18 07:47 PM
1

I used to want children very much. These days I realize that I've missed-out on so much that by the time I'm done having fun, I don't know if I will be able to have and raise kids with someone. I think the majority of my apprehension comes from knowing that most women would be terrible mothers, let alone wives.
/r/askTRP12/09/18 07:40 PM

Would you say that TRP knowledge killed your desire for women? If so, how?
/r/askTRP12/09/18 07:38 PM

It also saved my life, too. It made me respect myself and while erasing my bitter feelings towards women and relationships. I just feel like I "get" it now, and I have a lot more hope about life and my future after seeing the results.

If you look at r/bhuddism and r/zen you'll notice a world of difference between the two places, and they're only two of many starting points. One looks favorably upon meditation, and the other is mostly indifferent to the practice, sometimes even hostile, just to give you an idea. The stuff that helps me the most is very esoteric. I'll suggest a nice beginner's book, instead: "Zen Mind Beginner's Mind" by Shunryu Suzuki You can also start with "An Introduction to Zen Buddhism" by D. T. Suzuki in…

A woman is never the goal no matter what. Whether she's a plate or a LTR, she isn't the goal. How are you upvoted so much while lacking in the basics? The fuck is happening to this sub?

I can't believe that you think setting rules, especially rules like that, are a good idea. I also can't believe that you think any woman will abide by them. This is the gender that lacks any sense of accountability, not because they're inherently evil, but because of the feminine imperative. It's just the way things are, no use in crying about it, but absolutely none of this is a good idea and reeks of insecurity. AWALT, hypergamy, etc. Do not trust a woman! They're not evil, and you're not stup…

Remember that it's what a girl DOES, not what she SAYS. This is why I can't stand texting and cheap talk. If she really wants to see you, she will make it happen. With these points in consideration, I'd definitely put her on a back burner and go for someone else, if possible.
/r/askTRP10/09/18 01:43 AM

/r/askTRP10/09/18 01:40 AM

Agreed. This is how I've responded in the past and it worked wonders for me. Women also hate silence and a lack of attention, so it often makes them suspect that they'e done something wrong.
/r/askTRP10/09/18 01:36 AM

I don't think they're lying. There's exceptions to everything. It's frankly that simple, but it's not something I'd do for a long time, if ever.

One last thing I will add is that his generation is very different than this current one. Older guys knew they had to be breadwinners and work hard while mom did all the emotional stuff. There have always been great, well-rounded dads, but a lot of them simply didn't know any better or were to stupid to know. It doesn't excuse him, but I think it's better to fix things and let the past go. Ymmv

Don't. My parents should have never had kids because neither one of them had any of the intelligence or responsibility to raise a us to meet today's challenges. I was mad, I was bitter, and at times I still feel resentment, but here's the only truth you will ever need to know: life isn't fair. Life being unfair doesn't mean that you have a right to cry and mope about. If you must do an LTR, this is the reason why we spin plates. If you had, you would've filtered-out the woman you've decided to have a relationship with. If I were in your shoes, I'd respectfully and amicably end it, keep it "just friends" if you want, and find something else. In the very least, keep your eyes open and be prepared to move on, because the desire on her end has clearly waned (if not gone), and you can't/shouldn't try to earn her desire back.

Yeah, I was very consciously Daryl. I even thought to myself, "I'll be a 'good man' one last time. I'll do everything that is expected of me, no matter how degrading, and we'll see how it goes, just so that I can know for sure." What followed was the most dismal year in my entire life. Daryl may possibly have the same wake-up call the next time around.

That's a good point, but there's no guarantees of anything when it comes to marriage. You are *always* rolling the dice. Maybe you can find some official data on careers and divorce rates, but anything beyond that is pointless.

She sounds like a very boring person. Was this pillow talk? If so, I'd just sleep. If not, I'd just change the subject or do something more interesting than talk to a vagina muppet.

It's possible, but to be honest, there's often a lot of sexual tension to various degrees. Also, a lot of women simply aren't interesting and/or too self-absorbed to the detriment of genuine friendship.
/r/askTRP06/09/18 02:01 PM

This was my experience. Truly bpd women have found ways to adapt to it and maintain a somewhat functional lifestyle. You likely won't see the crazy until the metaphorical dam breaks. Personally, I'd never mess with a BPD girl ever again. I forgot to mention that she endangered my life, so yeah.

Honestly it sounds like you have a good handle on the situation. If you're going to do a serious LTR, you're gonna have to lift their spirits once-in-a-while, but so long as it doesn't become a routine or a habit, you should be okay. Any idea why all of this is coming to light now?
/r/askTRP05/09/18 11:39 AM

I had an ex like this. She was a black hole that consumed resources and effort, living half in her own world and half in the real one. Someone who's broken like that needs help on a fundamental level. If you apply TRP strategies to someone like her, it will likely cause her harm. What do you do when she has her crying spells/melt downs?

I can understand that. is there any specific reaosn why you felt she'd have sex more sparingly? I see in your other comments that you've been plating other women, yeah?

This is actually very sweet and empathetic. Don't worry about a thing, my dude, and I'm sorry for your loss.

May I ask you something? What did you envision would happen? I mean, how did you think this was going to go, in your mind? I want to understand this mentality, or at least try to.

Yeah, that is a pretty disrespectful. Seems like you have a solid understanding of the situation.

If your dad is hopeless, do what the other comments say. Otherwise I'd try and bond with your dad, talk about what you observe over some beers and see if you can get him out of there now-and-again.

I've been on both sides of this situation before. The girl has always been a supreme piece of shit. His first mistake was thinking that she was out of his league. YOU'RE the prize, so keep your eyes on the horizon and don't get too comfortable in an LTR.

This is some beta bitch behavior. If you want to demonstrate value, go work in a soup kitchen and stay off hook-up apps.

I second that.

No problem. If things don't get any better, give us an update.

My situation is no where near as difficult or as tragic as yours, but my father was also a fairly selfish one and a terrible role model. Now that he's getting older, he's wondering why his children never visit him. This type of impulsive, short-term thinking hopefully ends with them. I wish you well.

Pretty much nailed it.

Man, thank you. I thought I was taking crazy pills when I read the comments on that post.

I've basically given-up on pop-culture as a whole. Being a consumer is for bugmen.

That's very understandable, and I'm the same way. Are you prepared to go through life never finding a woman that you can trust and count on?

I think you're a lot like me, or at least how I used to be. Don't think too much and just roll with it. Worst-case scenario is that they're being condescending, and if so, so what? You can handle yourself, you can handle shit tests, etc. so this is just water off a duck's back. Don't sweat it.

Well, let me ask you-- why are you interested in a LTR?

Some lessons are easier to learn than others. It took me getting emotionally and financially curb-stomped by an ex to finally "get it," which is probably the case for a lot of people here. In my opinion, switching form being primarily emotional to logical is only made possible through consistent discipline. Talk with a friend or post here if you need to re-asses yourself.

In this current political climate, i think it would be insane to fuck a coworker. I think you did the right thing-- abundance mentality.

Yeah, that's like a perfect summation

Don't know why you were down-voted. Playing around at work is likely a bad idea, but at uni? Lmao

I know that it's super annoying/frustrating, but I think I'd use this as a golden opportunity to practice your shit-testing skills. This is some good experience to work with.

I think the reasons you've listed for being cautious are valid. I think you can go either way with this without losing any sleep, so I'd go with your gut on this one. When I was younger I'd probably let it slide. These days I'd probably tell him. G'luck and let us know what you decide.

ALWAYS be prepared (financially, emotionally, physically) to leave her. Especially if/when you're married! This is an extremely important consideration to make. Co-habitation fucks with your mind because you have to be extra vigilant about maintaining frame which is not as easy as we'd like to think. Shitty relationships don't happen overnight- it's a slippery slope of shit tests and small behaviors that one day become a standard if you're too tired or busy to manage them. Higher responsibilitie…

Where does this desire to be a "good man" come from, anyway? Many people have referred to me as such, and I wore it as a badge of honor-- it made all the struggling and hardship worth it, or so I thought. When I look back on a decade of "doing the right thing," I realize that I have nothing to show for it. Then I read comments like yours and wonder, "Why did I ever buy-in to that unhealthy standard, anyway?"

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
