Upvoted for loving Chrono Trigger. We definitely would have been buds if you were still in Boston.

Unfortunately you weren't referring to this gem.

I made a correction (that you may not see buried in the comments), but a few of you thought I meant that having looks are important, when what I meant to say was that (traditionally) the most valuable trait that men look for in a woman is looks. The most valuable trait that women look for in men is status. Hope that clears things up.

Well, according to OP, the most important thing for men is good looks. Made an edit in the post, but that's not what I meant. I meant that the (traditionally) most important trait in what men look for in a woman is looks. I apologize for the miscommunication.

I don't think I've ever read one of these front to back - until now. http://imgur.com/ul5KG Do us all a favor and don't forget everything you've learned and become a sap once you've kept her around.

Then, by definition, you fear being outside your comfort zone. Hmmm

I go grab woman 1 and start making out and then on the dance floor I grab her hand and lead her into a bedroom and seal the deal. I think this is the most difficult part. How did you just know you could go from making out to the bedroom? What gave it away in this particular case?

Not sure if this is the "right" reason but here goes: I got out of a relationship 8 months ago with a woman I thought I was going to marry. We certainly talked like it was going to be forever. After that I was pretty much in a stone-cold depression, and felt like my life was never going to recover (I'm 26). I'd read a bunch of stuff similar to seddit over the years, but it never really stuck cause it seemed so hokey and, well, mean. Plus, I was still getting "success" - and by that I mean never …

I'm sorry, Christmas has been tough for me this year, I came off a bit harsh. I know you didn't. Having style and being fit are definitely helpful because they take care of the first impressions - they help you get in the door. It's like having a great resume - having a great resume will not get you the job, but it will help get you in the door and won't prevent you from being turned away immediately. In the same regard, having a fit body and great style will help you gain initial attraction fro…

your cure is to stop being so superficial. this right here is exactly why we know its confidence and inner love you lack. you can spout out fashion brands and talk quickly about money, clothes and superficial BS. you're using it to mask your lack of substance that you can't seem to find in yourself. no one is impressed that you wear gucci or ray ban...they're impressed with your genuine and interested character. make that your focus from now on.

make risotto by stirring in a cup of broth/water and letting it burn off. do this for about 6 cups. add in carmelized onions, morel mushrooms, grilled asparagus and goat cheese. get laid.

Play quarterback. You are, indeed, attractive. If she's giving you any impromptu attention, she likes you. There will be legitimately attractive girls who will do this. Don't be the socially awkward penguin. Don't ask me what that means, you'll figure it out in about 8 years.

Goat cheese and asparagus risotto with morel mushrooms. Bitches love risotto.

We already have a "talk to everyone" post stickied on the sidebar, but I think this should be added to it as well since there's so much great advice in the comments.

Do not listen to the haters, you absolutely can. One of the greatest naturals in my fraternity wore his turban with pride, and had one of the hottest girlfriends in the house. He's still a natural. Don't ever be ashamed of your culture - if anything, your confidence in your turban will only propel your attractiveness.

Also I should point out that I met #1 during the trip, so I've only known #1 for a week ... So we basically just knocked boots and that was it, and we hadnt talked all week until we all met up. Does that change anything?

If someone would indulge me: How does one condition himself into losing the idea that walking up to strangers is rude or impeding on their conversation? Honestly, I'm totally fine and comfortable in pretty much every step after the approach, but the approach still gets me. It's not that I'm nervous or anxious or really anything, I just get hung up on a few (irrational) assumptions. I assume: People are out with friends. So if you aren't in their friendship circle, you are butting in on their con…

There totally is. After posting a question somewhat related to this topic, it seems like that it's definitely a goal, but there's so much to learn at the beginning stages, that things like approach anxiety and routines get placed on top because that's where people need the most help. I guess it makes sense too - if a woman is willing to be your girlfriend, you must have gotten a lot of things right (at least if she's up to par with you're looking for), so you won't need as much advice, and thing…

First, I appreciate a mod taking interest in this, so thanks for the comments. Maybe my words weren't accurate, but "she's below me" is like the reversing of "putting pussy on a pedestal." Whereas most men intrinsically add value to a woman out of nowhere, the seduction community supports putting a woman down (via negs) because she needs to be grounded to impress you, as if you are the prize to be attained. While seddit isn't about long term relationships, but part of becoming a complete, awesom…

I have something similar, but without the physical list: I play the questions game. Basically you alternate asking each other questions, and they HAVE to answer truthfully. You go for 5 rounds, and if you still have more questions, you have to go for another block of 5 Qs each. I ask to kiss her on question 5 (or 10, if I'm not feeling it yet). It has worked 100% of the time.

I've only dated women long term. Either they're good enough for me to be with and give my heart to, or I don't waste my time. And he does not speak the truth. His points about being a well-rounded person are true: you should be the best man you can be if you expect the best kind of women. Where we differ is his beliefs on blame for how relationships end and who "runs" the relationship. I refuse to believe that my last relationship ended because it was 99% my fault. And the fact that I have to ke…

Can someone shed some light on my "oneitis"? I was in a 1.5 yr relationship with a girl that we were on track to get married. We grew apart cause we were both so busy (moreso on me, I was starting my own business while working full-time) and then she said she wanted a break. I did give her space and she did say "I miss you" like someone else had mentioned, but when we met up and tried to talk about the "elephant in the room," she froze up and sort of re-negged her comment. I'm now 3.5 months int…
