You're in hell right now. It's going to get worse. You'll have your ups and you'll have your downs. You need to acknowledge right now that this will be a hard time for you. Your gut will hurt. You will feel as though something has been ripped away from you and that you are struggling to hold on. This will be normal. However, and this is the really important part here, if you allow it, it will consume you and cripple you. I will repeat that. If you allow it, it will consume you and cripple you. Y…

Ok, let me be clear about this sub's purpose; it's also our mission statement. Discussion of sexual strategy in a culture increasingly lacking a positive identity for men. Your comments about "truly showing love and appreciating a partner" are not within the scope of our mission statement.

No, you wouldn't. This sub isn't about that at all. That's what I meant by "you don't know what this sub is about".

I've never seen anyone here say they did something for a SO just to show their love and appreciation. That's because you don't know what this sub is about. It seems like most of the advice here counsels against doing those things. That's also because you don't know what this sub is about.

Ok, I went out Saturday night by myself. Got to the first bar and it wasn't very active at all. Bought a beer and took about 20 min drinking it at the bar. I stood in one spot and every once in a while I would survey to see if there was anyone worth approaching. Nothing came of it. I finished my beer and left. I went to a second bar/club and I went right for the dancing area but I wasn't loosened up quite yet so I got myself a drink first. I turned around and there were large groups of people hu…

While the work day progressed yesterday, I kept telling myself that I would go hit up my old campus and check out some bars or clubs there. As the end of the work day neared, I kept getting anxious about how I would fly solo. I tried to pump myself up by going to a shooting range, and it did the trick a little bit. When I left and got on the highway to go to my old campus (same direction as going home but home is 45 mi further north), I reached the point where I exit for my campus, or keep going…

It's a complete rejection of reality. I should be able to slut around and put myself in dangerous situations without fear of anything happening to me so I'll do just that. They don't see the world for what it is. They see it for what they want it to be and they live like that. TL;DR Yes, the victim can be at fault plenty of times.

I would say: "I want to see you. Let's get coffee tomorrow evening." "Yeah, I'd like that." "Meet at Dante's at 7:30." Boom. Even girl's with self-respect like a leader.

In my experience, the girl's that need to be treated like shit to be attracted to you are broken. If a girl wants to be treated like dog shit then it won't be by me. I'll get laid by being a man not by being a douche bag. There's truth to this. I've known girls who have self-respect and direct asshole tactics won't work with them. They require teasing, leading, sexual escalation and all that other good stuff as per usual TRP methods. But playing the asshole game with negs and treating them with …

Remove her from your life. Do not bother thinking about her in any way, shape or form. You'll have to physically stop yourself when your mind wanders. Do not respond to any texts or methods of contact from her. Having low smv means that you should focus on yourself instead of chasing tail. This must be your default setting for some time.

For some time now I've wanted to make a post on blindly following TRP. Often times the use of lavish generalizations (AWALT, never show emotion, always dominate/control, etc...) are intended to prevent newcomers from receiving a diluted dosage of TRP. I understand that reasoning and I agree with it. At the same time, I would caution newcomers to always think for themselves. Do not blindly follow these teachings; do not praise these words as gospel. To the impressionable youth, this could lead to…

Great story. Even if it's fake, it demonstrates proper use of maintaining frame. My favorite was the "You don't get to decide that." Fuck, that was beautiful. Actions like that are what put women in their place and make you stand out as a man who knows his worth, instead of a supplicating punk mesmerized by pussy.

This a reposted comment because I used a cross link. This reminds me of a post from /r/becomeaman that I read a while ago. It's titled: "The best advice about life and happiness you are ever gonna get..." An except from the wonderful book How to win friends and Influence People I would suggest everyone to read at some point in their life. She will tell her parents about all the great sights she saw. She will tell her friends about all the dicks she got. After a few weeks of being back, and normal life routines reassert themselves in her life, she will start thinking about you. A lot. What happens then? Right on the money. This invariably happens when people come back from vacation. They're still on a high from their time away but slowly and inevitably, life resumes itself and, like you said, she starts thinking about him.

If you want to be happy for the rest of your life, never make a pretty woman your wife. So from my personal point of view, get an ugly girl to marry you. I believe that song encapsulates your thoughts.

when put into perspective, getting good with women don't sound that important. No, it's not that important at all but it is a skill that would come in handy later on. Not just for the sake of getting tail, but for communicating with them, holding frame, and in general not being submissive to their demands or requests. You may not use these skills for personal gain, but you can certainly use them to avoid being taken advantage of. As per your goal, I like that you're focusing on "understanding yo…

I'm just gonna rephrase a lot of what I said in a way my dad told me one day. You're the most important thing in your life. You're number one and you have to always remember that. All girls are the same. They're a huge pain in the ass and they'll annoy you to no end given enough time. You have to do what's best for yourself and forget about this girl. Trust me. "Always stand to shake someone's hand" I absolutely hate it when someone shakes your hand while sitting down. They'll even lay back into the couch/chair and try to extend their hand from that position. The half-assed effort at being respectful makes it even more disrespectful.

No, you didn't make that claim but people are upvoting you as if they're accepting your opinion as a professional assessment. By the way, you did a damn fine job on projecting your opinion in such a confident way as to make others readily accept it but I think it's best to wait for the research to come in and I want others to see that as well.

Seriously, while anecdotal evidence is strong to the one who purports the statement, it doesn't carry the same weight for the audience. To that effect, "It is that easy." doesn't carry any weight either. If I'm going to be indignant, I'd prefer to be righteously so.

This subreddit doesn't take a moral stance regarding the methods prescribed. It's about understanding what works and what doesn't in order to achieve your goal. That being said, I'm inclined to agree with you. However, if your intent is always made clear and you do not use deceit to further yourself, then you are in the right in my book.

I am named on the birth certificate as the father, simply because mine was the name you gave when they asked. I take issue with this. This is what I am afraid of. I fear that I will always look back to the moment and think of the good times. I fear that I will use those memories to create some idealistic possible future with her and subtly do things to bring her back into my life. In bed put your head on his chest rather than on a pillow My last girl fit like a puzzle piece when it came to sleeping like that. Every single time, it would be the manliest and most vulnerable feeling I would get when around her. She would make little purring and exhaling noises when she did that as well. Very well, if you don't believe you're committing the fallacy, I shall engage with you in a similar manner. If you are truly redpill, you will be able to have your relationship on lockdown where your women wouldn't dare cheat on you or think about leaving you because you are so damn alpha. If you can't then you are bluepill who's just afraid and incapable of behaving in accord with the redpill theory. I hope you see how asinine that sounds.

We're 23; 8 months apart (although the college part probably gave a lot away). And yes, regardless of the age range, heartbreak does hurt haha. But you're also right when you say that this is the best way to learn about relationships and women. In truth, her mother had influence in her getting with the other Jewish guy. I read one of your previous posts earlier today and there was mention (either on your part or another's) that you were Jewish. I think it had to do with spending Christmas with others and not alone. Call me if you want to get together next week." They might retort with, "But I thought we had plans?" To that, you say, "I don't make plans on a maybe. It's yes or no."

Call her and tell her "Hey, it's obvious where this is headed. It was fun while it lasted but we're both moving on to different things. Take care." Your goal is to separate yourself from this girl as quickly as possible. You should be having other girls spinning on your dick by this point as that will make it easier to walk away from this girl. To help make this easier, pretend a friend of yours was in a similar situation. How would you advise them? Would you think of them as beta if they tried …

That's a bit of a doozy isn't it? I find myself conflicted when I tell a girl to fuck off....probably because I'm just not used to it.

but she stayed with me because she wanted that alpha dick You cocky fuck; that gave me a good laugh. OP, nothing has to change because of this. If you starting behaving weird or different, she'll sense it and that'll freak her out more. Keep being boss and do the things that attracted her to you in the first place.

Calm down dude. Where do you come off saying my standards for her being attractive are invalid? Shit.

That girl is physically attractive. The hipster attire pisses me off though which lowers her perceived attractiveness.

You could ask her to deliver a pizza to your place and then keep her there for some time as a mini date. This would probably work best if she's at work and you order this pizza through the pizzeria. Then again, /u/30years has a nasty good idea to impress the ladies on a dinner date.

Agreed. I was trying to find the right way to phrase it before entering the thread, but this is the best play. OP, make sure you do/did this. Update us on what happens.

They're fixated on it because it is a point of pride. If they can get that elusive orgasm to happen, then they must be doing something right to make them better than other men. Men should find out how to please their women and they should be able to make it happen. At that point, like /u/trpirate said, eat pussy but on your terms.

Have your friend invite her over to your place some time soon. A short time after they arrive, have your friend leave and proceed to make out with the girl.
/r/askTRP24/09/13 08:36 AM

No, I think OP should tell her that they're done, they're parting ways, and that the girl should pack her shit and leave. If she refuses, evict her. If that takes a long time, drop the security deposit (like someone earlier said) and cut your lease short. OP, you don't have to be delicate with her. You have to be upfront, and unwavering with your conviction. Rip this band-aid off soon. Post back with an update too.

It's really easy to get invalid pre-nups thrown out. FTFY. But truly, you bring up a good point. Invalid pre-nups, like most invalid things, can be easily thrown out of court. But if you do it right and lawfully, you'll be ok. Besides, instead of just reasons for why a pre-nup could be invalid, past cases or precedents would be a far stronger argument.
/r/askTRP18/09/13 09:33 PM
1

No, they're not. You must be referring to the precedent that was set several months ago in Brooklyn, NY. If you do a pre-nup the right way, you'll be ok. This pre-nup was thrown out because the guy promised the woman he'd rip up the pre-nup after they had kids and apparently he didn't do that. So no, they don't get regularly thrown out.

I have not been "in love" where I am mad with passion for the girl. But I have loved a girl and continue to do so to this very day. She had a heart that was pure. She had no problem asking you about an action you took that she didn't understand. She would not judge for the action, she would not presuppose regarding the action. She would ask you to explain so that we could be on the same frequency. She loved me back. She cared for me. She learned from being with me as I learned from being with he…

I'm a personal fan of "You would not survive the attempt." It's from that comic where an old couple are sitting down and the wife is trying to get the husband to light his pipe.

I appreciate the detailed answer. I look forward to the next time I'm in a situation where I am outcome independent and test the limits of my bullshit. So what do you do? I'm a clinical sex researcher. Really?! Yeah, I conduct experiments where I get to squirt water at people's assholes and vaginas. Hmm...I think I actually will use that one day.

I don't think I could find another girl like her... Everyone's thought they couldn't find another girl like her at some point. This feeling isn't new and it will continue to permeate through man (and woman alike). You basically want to be with her but you wish she hadn't fucked that guy or at least had the strength to not care that she fucked that guy. Neither of these are gonna happen if you stay around her with this much attachment to her. If you pursue romantic and/or sexual relations with th…

It might be. Especially where she presumes that she did something to you. Although, to be fair, you walking away without a word after the silence does lend credence to the idea that she affected you. It could also be a genuine apology. You might be able to determine which one is the case based on how well you know her. The "did not go home with anyone" part strikes me as odd. Whenever I lie, I like to tell half-truths where a good portion of my story is true expect for a crucial part. So in this…

Instead of telling them right off the bat, you could avoid any indicators that you are looking for something serious. Don't cuddle. Don't spend the night over after sex (assuming you're already fwb). Don't have sex then go out to eat or do any date like activity. Don't bring flowers or any other romantic gesture that could be interpreted through a relationship perspective. If you avoid doing things that could lead her the wrong way, you'll avoid having to have the talk with them. If the talk com…

Christ dude, you could have at least proofread this and fixed any typos. My approach would have been to never have approached the "complaining girl" in the first place. If there is a communication barrier, either she will tell you, or HR will tell you. Keep doing your work up until that point. The other thing you messed up on was trying to get the full story from both HR and the girl. I did this in high school. When John told me that Jane said something about me, I would approach Jane and ask he…

I once did 35mi in one day. It was one of the most brutal things I've endured. That being said, I'm aware that if you hike for a long period of time, you'll eventually condition yourself to hiking 35+ mi per day. I just want to know how long did it take you to condition yourself to that level?

You're using emotionally charged words to twist the perspective so that it suits your purpose. Blindside. Forcing onto. Can't think or respond. Creepy. That tactic is dishonest and gets us both nowhere. If the girl says stop, you stop. She will have made up her mind about whether or not she wants to kiss you well in advance so if it's a no, the signs will be clear. If it's a yes, the signs will be clear. When she hasn't decided yet or made anything clear and you're in doubt, go for the kiss. She…

It really sucks to break up when neither person really has a complaint about the other. That about sums it up perfectly well. My scenario involved us breaking up because in the long run our lifestyles would have clashed and symbiosis would not have worked. The funny thing is after we broke up, we remained good friends and a few months later, I realized that I really love this person but she's not someone I can see myself with in the future. So yeah, it was painful breaking up not because of what…
