Yeah I think I probably have room to improve fashion wise to be fair which could help a lot actually, fit is everything. I do often get the "You really have all your shit together" type comments once they get to know me more or go back to my place or they comment on how unfazed by life I am. It's just the hurdle of them finding that out since I really dislike flexing - so usually they'll flake before they find out. Definitely shows the huge difference of online dating/apps vs cold approach thoug…

Appreciate the insight from your other comments too. I also find myself with a similar carefree attitude too (way less desperate than 20s haha) I'm early 30s at the moment and have my life sorted, successful business + plenty of free time, creative hobbies, nice place, car, improving fitness wise etc. Though I find it hard to strike a balance of showing that in a subtle way that's not cringe/try hard. Obviously it's what attracts younger girls to us though (the success and having life sorted) so…

That's true, the long-shot is likely paying off for someone, somewhere haha, good on that guy! Agreed on the "hey" = no response, I'm surprised people still do that. My profile is public + clearly authentic, and I'd aim to DM either in reply to a story, or picking a post I can spark conversation from (not about looks ideally). So I guess that's the most I can really do at this point to stand out. Then ideally in the first couple messages, I'd aim to make my intentions clearer to avoid confusion/…

Really like your post because it feels natural and logical. I'm not new to online dating but new to DMing on IG, low followers (90) and following (80) but my profile isn't low effort (I'm a photographer but focus more on photos of other people/things, so there's only a few of me) I had a similar thought in regards to follow + wait for a follow back to check interest. But unfortunately most attractive women near me that I'd click with (creative, similar interests/values) tend to have at least 1-2…

Thank you for posting a realistic/none creepy/none cringe version of all this haha. Agree with all of this, it's all logical/natural feeling and easy-going and exactly my vibe. Not new to dating apps, but new to trying DMs on IG. I've seen a few women on IG lately that I know are local, single + I think I'd click with on a date (creative/similar interests or hobbies) except they're hotter than me for sure (gotta try anyway right?!) and often have around 5000-8000 followers..So it's a bit off-put…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
