i just blocked a guy who was looking pretty ok but then he got weird and then when i told him that we don't seem to be a great fit and that i wish him goodluck, told me im not that pretty and he was just trying to like me. told me to lose weight too. the audacity! i shouldve blocked him the moment he started acting weird. HAHAHA so nope, im out. goodluck there hun! i will go and find better men outside of these dating apps

i feel like they do that because they always think they can get another match, they can swipe and swipe until a new a new match replies to them. maybe it's their abundance mindset? but in like a really bad bad way. like, they think there's a whole lot of women on there waiting for them to match that they won't make an effort anymore. Here's a nice video on how dating apps is designed to get u addicted, I got it from a fellow FDS gal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L5C8EVTXpAk

haha! the actual expert at the end (which is very hot by the way) even said to go back to actual "courtship" ways that are proven to work. yesssss

it's really the app and how it's designed. i can't blame the HVM not staying on there lol. im currently talking to a really nice guy, met him here in reddit though after a nice conversation. so really, i think the guys we're looking for are not on those dating apps.

yeah, along with he cares for me so much, he wants me to depend on him emotionally so he can 'take care of me'. and i did... i came back to him. because my heart wanted that. after a few weeks, were back to the hot and cold scenario 😢 then i discovered this sub, my rose coloured glasses got removed and blocked him on everything.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/11/19 02:33 PM

yes. i did the blocking for myself. i know he would crawl and slowly give me breadcrumbs again and i might give in. no way. he has no access to me now and my life is so much better
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/11/19 12:45 PM

fuck... i remember my ex trying his best to get me back when he learned i wasnt in a good position in my life last month. he said he wanted me to depend on him fully and i told him that thought is scary. fuck

i cried yesterday because i remembered my ex that i blocked. and then later that night , i saw some screenshots i still have on my phone from a guy i dated last year. i read his cringey, manipulative and negging comments about me again, and i cried because i let those all go and didn't know better at that time. but i'm happy knowing that i'll never go through that again. i'm really happy i found this sub!

| Never meet his parents if he introduces you without a title this is massive manipulation, do not accept this my ex did this, and i think that was what messed it up for me. I felt like he was serious about us but he didnt treat me well still
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/11/19 01:06 AM

haha yeah he sounds very boring. like the kind of guy who would only talk about himself during a date

thanks for this. im a recovering codependent and lists like this are helpful for me.

i am def guilty of that one too and that made me remember that i used to think about others 'first' when i should be taking care of me first

yes thats me. its like finally waking up after a hazy dream, i knew i was spending my precious time to a low value guy who doesnt have much to offer me. after lots of reading here, i realized i didnt need him at all. its better to cut him off coz its not going anywhere. now i dont really feel anymore attraction towards him..

they are very good in love bombing you, only for you to realize that it was just all play... people like this (not just men) dont feel empathy at all and thats so fucking scary. stay away please and take care

I'm still working on my mindset and making sure i guard my heart against people who dont have my best interest at heart. but because of this sub, i realized that i've been stringed along with breadcrumbs and low efforts by a guy who i thought really care for me. I spent almost 6 months of my 2019 for him, trying to have a relationship. Reading here made me realize, i should no longer give him any of my attention and stop being used. I was able to block him and i'm never going back to him anymore…
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/11/19 01:36 AM

i feel the same. this sub is heavent sent for me. goodluck in your future dates and relationships <3

this is my thoughts too now that i am adopting and working on FDS ideology. I'll fucking love my future husband and support him in everything that he wants in life but only if i've already proven that he will do the exact same thing for me! Someone who is very willing to go out of his way to build a life with me, i will def love that guy so much.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/11/19 01:06 AM

i should do that!!! coz i just blocked a hot and cold guy too last Sunday and here i am kind of getting a little bit sad , reminiscing about the 'good times' thanks for the tip love <3

i'm currently reading, the power of pussy :p
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/11/19 01:42 AM

it was a lot of what people say but if you read the book, its really all about not accepting shit and focus more on yourself when dating. its not giving the power to the guy but its giving us advises on how to be powerful when dating

same here :( goddamit
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/11/19 02:10 PM

yup... im like that in my last relationship and look at where it got me. confused and broken hearted. but you're right, this is us levelling up! we gotta step out and improve

i do have the same problem actually. i can't even do clarifying questions and expects them to open up the discussion, but no way they'll do that.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/11/19 02:17 AM

i think you did really well in clarifying. i recently installed dating apps too just to practice doing questions like this and setting up boundaries.

just did! never felt better! i know i have a better chance of finding a good and healthy partner than that guy i just blocked...

watching this now, the scene at the beginning is so fucking sad. my old me would probably do the same but not anymore

i recently just blocked a guy that i let myself walk over me. im pretty excited to date again to be honest and experience what you are going thru as well. i know there are better men for me out there. i just kept picking the LV ones. and now its going to change
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/11/19 12:06 PM

same here. just giving us breadcrumbs and seeing until when will we hold out.. i noped out of there and blocked him. im going to have a fantastic lovelife now from here on
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/11/19 08:23 AM
8

same here. if i stay with that kind of guy, i have to accept that im ok with being ignored.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/11/19 08:18 AM
2

yes yes. there's no going back. i did the right thing of protecting my peace of mind. i will. thank you!!! your replies are very helpful
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/11/19 06:06 AM
1

looks like it was a friend. and i'm kind of having withdrawals after blocking him. but all good.. i've done this before. but i still want to block him for the fact that he no longer came back to me. and i feel like when he does, it's to twist it and make it look like it's not his fault or problem. so it's good now that i blocked him, he can no longer change my mind about my decision.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/11/19 05:18 AM
2

yeah. it has been days since i got no reply. so he clearly doesnt give a shit about what i feel so i should not give a shit about what he feels too. since i always do that. his feelings comes first before, now he can fuck off. haha doesnt matter. i know im moving onwards, beyond and will move on gracefully from him.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/11/19 10:50 PM

aww ive blocked him already. i instantly felt better knowing that he cant get to me anymore. he cant reach me anymore and i cant go in there and see his posts. its like im at peace now. i was contemplating not to and to just leave it at that. but i dont have the heart for it yet.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/11/19 10:46 PM

i did it. i blocked him. no more waiting. no more accepting breadcrumbs. no more, no more, no more. my peace of mind is more important. my life is more important.

your reply is so timely. :( i just woke up and saw that he posted being out with a girl. his brother is in the photo though. but still. i fucking hate him. i want to block him but i feel like it will give him a satisfaction? or it feels like im still waiting. another reason is that i want him to see that im unaffected. but this is just so shitty. sorry for venting out here :( edit: i've blocked him. i'm done.

heya... so i basically sent him a short reply after him calling and chatting over the first half of the week. i told him that i was ok and im just not replying because the communication dynamic is wearing me out. he apologised and said he's too busy to even be on social media. and that he understood my concern. i replied coldy asking him 'what is my concern that you understand' and got nothing since wednesday. now i see him active and posting on social media. i feel bad for replying. but this ju…

oh wow. that's just outright disrespectful you know... at least this guy is apologizing to me at the moment. we deserve better than this!

its funny, what you said on the last paragraph of your comment because this is actually our 2nd go at dating. i actually split up with him 3 months ago, because of communication problems. so i feel like, hes doing it all over again and still not afraid of losing me. thank you so much for your brilliant insights, i love all that you wrote here
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/11/19 04:55 PM

thank you so much for reminding me to still communicate. he isnt that bad or abusive, but this whole communication dynamic is really making me unhappy. i dont know if i give him another chance if the same thing will happen again.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/11/19 03:53 PM

i wanted to tell him that the way he treats me is not working out for me anymore. that this communication dynamic wherein my messages is left on read, my calls are not returned is making me uninspired to continue dating him. he would just get back to me when i stop messaging and then it happens again. i feel like i dont even need to say these things because these are just basic stuff for a relationship to work. he's been calling me too but im not answering. its funny coz last week he cant even r…

he kept sending good night messages now but prior to me not replying, he can't even return my calls and chats. that's when i discovered this subreddit and it opened my eyes. this guy is definitely just giving me crumbs and i was desperate and i just kept receiving shitty treatment. you're right. i'll just probably send him a short , 'this is not working out. goodbye" chat after the week is over
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/11/19 04:44 AM
6

thank you. i'm tempted to send a long message to this guy i'm dating who i no longer feel is making an effort into being with me, but at the same time after reading posts here, i dont have the energy anymore. i just plan on not replying and hopes he get the hint.
