We were considered as one in my college. I was literally invited to a minority student only event in college. I didn't go cuz it just seemed so weird...

As an Asian girl, I do want people to know about this. In college, I hated being treated like I needed extra help and pity just because I'm a minority. I want people to see that we are just as capable!

I'm a girl and I think this is fucking stupid. Do not hire me because of my gender!! Hire people based on skills... I don't know why this isn't common sense

Didn't she also take teenage boy's first kiss on TV? I thought that was kinda wrong too.

"men have everything, let us have this one" that line made me so mad.

Aww thanks!

Yeah I'm really glad I lost it the way I did. We took each other's first and it wasn't awkward at all. We were together for 6 months before doing it so maybe that helped too. It'll always be a special memory for both of us :)

I'm not religious but I always wanted to lose my virginity to someone I loved. I had two boyfriends before my current one and refused to have sex with them because I didn't feel like I completely loved them and I was like 15/16. When I lost my virginity to my current boyfriend I didn't even care that I was losing something special, I just wanted to show him that I really loved him even if we didn't last forever. We're still together 6 years going strong :)

I've noticed that a lot of guys feel insecure for being a virgin and not having any relationship experience. For me it's a turn on when a guy is not so experienced. I'd rather date a virgin than someone who's slept around a whole bunch.

I'd say that most women, beyond the teens, of that have grown up, think the same. That's great! I did see girls making fun of other girls for being attracted to an "ugly" guy in high school, but I haven't seen anything like that outside of it.
/r/MensRights02/07/19 02:21 PM
2

I noticed that too!!! I guess it's kinda different because they post a selfie to see how strangers rate them and smiling usually makes you look more attractive.
/r/MensRights02/07/19 11:45 AM

Telling insecure guys they're not ugly makes me a psychologist?
/r/MensRights02/07/19 11:39 AM

Sometimes I joke about my appearance too, but I can do so because I own it now and I'm not insecure anymore. I could not have done it in high school.
/r/MensRights02/07/19 11:38 AM
2

Noboy should be that concerned about their looks. I was just surprised how many guys were so insecure. A lot of them have never been in a relationship and they think it's because they're ugly. I think few words of encouragement to these guys will give them the confidence they need to be not so insecure. How is that encouraging men to be more emotional and why is it bad?
/r/MensRights02/07/19 11:36 AM
1

I get what you're saying. I don't think I'm completely against people using r/amiugly but a lot of guys on there are insecure and need encouragement.
/r/MensRights02/07/19 03:50 AM

I don't think it's too late. My bf was one of those insecure guys that thought looks were everything, but now he's more confident.

I think some people on there genuinely want the constructive criticism, but there's a way to do it in a nice way. I also think some commenters comment ugly on every picture, which is really sad.
/r/MensRights01/07/19 11:23 PM

Aww I didn't know that. That can't be good for self esteem.

Yeah it is. I haven't run into any crazy moderators yet so I'm gonna keep doing it until I do I guess.

I remember how happy my boyfriend was when he was young and insecure when I told him I thought he was attractive. These insecure guys usually aren't even ugly and definitely not "undatably ugly."
/r/MensRights01/07/19 06:16 PM

As a 22 female I've never wanted to date someone only based on looks. I'm pretty introverted so I need to feel comfortable around that person before I'm attracted to them so looks don't really do much for me. Obviously being better looking will attract more people but I think it's almost impossible to be "undatably unattractive" unless you're extremely over weight or under weight. And hey that's usually something you can work on and change.
/r/MensRights01/07/19 06:13 PM

I only saw it cuz my friend showed me when I was in high school. Even if it was fake it's ridiculous that so many people made fun of his size.
/r/MensRights27/06/19 04:04 PM

Oh I have no idea, I didn't hear about that but it didn't stop people for making fun of his size even though it was pretty big lol.

Poor guy, reminds me of the time Justin Bieber's nudes got leaked and everyone was making fun of him for being small, but it looked pretty big to me.

Aww you need a safe space to cry (I hate that word but don't know what else to use) crying is not relaxing when you're trying to hold back the tears. It feels so freeing to just cry and let it out.
/r/MensRights27/06/19 03:33 AM

I know drinking and smoking makes you feel better short term but it's probably making it worse in the long run. Never been to therapy so I don't know if that's helpful, but I just let myself get emotional and cry when I'm feeling too anxious. (I'm pretty sure I have an axiety disorder) Doing this and telling my sister and my bf why I'm feeling stressed helps, but all of this is probably easier for me because I'm a girl.

Are you being sarcastic? Side effects for women are a lot less because it takes less hormones.
/r/MensRights14/06/19 06:50 PM

I read somewhere that male birth control tend to have stronger side effects because it takes a lot more hormones to suppress thousands of sperms compared to just one egg being released once a month.

I saw the original post too! It made me so happy
/r/MensRights14/06/19 03:27 PM

It really shouldn't be. I can't wait for safe male birth control to becomes widespread.

How do people get away saying this shit...
/r/MensRights22/05/19 12:04 AM
2

Literally this!!!! Like did crazy feminists conveniently forget about child support??? They are making post saying men can rape you and you'll be forced to raise the kid and they have no responsibility or repercussions. Even in a pro life world rape is still a crime and there's still child support.
/r/MensRights20/05/19 02:37 PM

I was never a feminist but until watching shoeonhead's video I thought feminism was a positive movement. I think publicly debunking feminism might open some people's eyes.
/r/MensRights20/05/19 02:32 PM
2

Was about to make a post saying femminism needs to die. It's too late to try to fix the movement. They keep fighting for little things that doesn't matter or isn't real. Too will never give the movement another change even if it did change. (I would be skeptical as well) I don't understand how other women and liberals can't see though the bullshit in modern day femminism. It's embarrassing.
/r/MensRights20/05/19 02:28 PM

Posts like hers are actually discouraging. It makes me ashamed that fellow pro-choice people are acting so stupid.
/r/MensRights20/05/19 02:20 PM
5

God, this is frustrating!!! I've seen so many posts on Facebook demonizing men when it comes to topic of abortion. And now they want men to fight for the cause. Stop blaming men for everything then maybe they would want to fight for what they believe in.
/r/MensRights20/05/19 02:16 PM
1

Yeah pro life people fighting for what they believe to be right!! It's so disappointing to see pro choice people make such a stupid post. I want pro choice to appear reasonable and educated and posts like this are not helping. I think it weakens pro-choice argument. There's no need to over dramatise and say women who miscarry is going to get a death sentence like wtf??? Facts alone are more than enough to be pro choice.
/r/MensRights20/05/19 02:14 PM
1

Yeah good wasnt to good word. What I meant was women who recognizes the double standard and who takes responsibility for their own actions instead of blaming something else.
/r/MGTOW220/05/19 02:07 PM
1

I wish more people knew the facts. Thanks for commenting! The last part I think I'm guilty of as well. I never thought about if people living in Alabama and Georgia are happy with the law. If overwhelming majority of them are, who am I as an outsider to try to stop the law.
/r/MensRights18/05/19 11:28 PM

These are not my closest friends. They're ex-coworkers and people from my high school. Not sure if I should debate them or just unfriend...
/r/MensRights18/05/19 11:18 PM

I don't want to unfriend someone because of political differences. I'll tell my closest friends how I feel and if they can't respect me or believe the facts I present to them, then I'll unfriend them.

Can I copy and paste this as a response to this person on Facebook?
/r/MensRights18/05/19 06:55 PM

I know!!! do these people not realize there are many women that are against abortion?? It's clearly not about oppressing women. Most guys I know are pro choice.
/r/MensRights18/05/19 06:51 PM
6

I'm actually surprised that liberals haven't that noticed I'm not "oppressed" I'm half Asian and half white. White side of my family is Jewish. Asians and Jews are doing pretty well on average in this country. I don't need special treatment because I'm a "women of color" I hate it when liberals pity me.

Is this actually a men's only parking lot? It doesn't say it in Japanese anywhere and a lot of Japanese people don't know any English so many people would not even know they weren't following the sign. It might be just a brand name or something.

I'm sure other politicians had it worse, but typically women don't get it as bad. When I said divided I meant divide the letter into multiple letter. You did a great job dividing the section up. Even if she doesn't respond if she realizes that she fucked up, you still made a positive impact.
/r/MensRights15/05/19 03:05 PM
1

Hhmmmm... Even if she's not sensitive it has to suck to read a huge letter of so many things she's doing wrong. Maybe divide the letter? So maybe write one letter about something that bothers you the most, just one point and it you get a response write another letter about a different point? She might just have too much of an ego to take a criticism no matter how you do it though...

I think it's just how you view things. Although not having to learn a second language might be nice, I consider having the opportunity to learn a second language a great privilege. I completely disagree about the accent. I hate my accent and I'm very embarrassed about it. I know that I shouldn't be and most people don't mind it but I think it makes me sound stupid. I sometimes avoid using certain words out of fear that I might mispronounce it.
/r/MensRights14/05/19 12:50 PM

Yeah, I don't call guys creepy just for asking me out. They don't know that I'm in a relationship, they have a right to try. Actually one that wouldn't give up after I told him no was attractive and has a good job but I still consider him creepy. I'm sure the last one was just a stupid joke but it still made me uncomfortable.
/r/MensRights13/05/19 09:17 PM

Yes!! I think sexually active people should do whatever they can to be responsible to prevent pregnancy, but abortion should be an option in case BC methods fail.
/r/MensRights13/05/19 06:48 PM
2

Right, but if you wanna go troll somewhere MGTOW is a great place where a lot members actually hate women.
/r/MensRights13/05/19 03:44 PM
2

I think scientifically it's harder to produce male hormonal BC because it takes a lot of hormones to suppress sperm production which comes with bigger side effects. But if I was single, dating, and sexually active and hormonal birth control was not available, I would not feel safe having sex.
/r/MensRights13/05/19 03:43 PM

Wow that's really sad but I do see women shaming men for showing too much emotion all the time. I think I do see this in my relationship as well. Whenever I experience a negative thing I could have variety of emotions ranging from sadness, anger, disappointment, and more, but my boyfriend seems to mostly only feel anger in response negative situations. He told me when he was growing up his mom told him on multiple occasions to man up and stop crying. Maybe that has something to do with his lack …

Go to MGTOW they actually hate women
/r/MensRights13/05/19 03:26 PM

Yeah I get what you're saying, I'd want my boyfriend to have dreams and aspirations even as a househusband. But if that is growing a veggie garden or learning how to cook amazing meals. I'd 100% support that even if it's something that's considered part of being a house husband.
/r/MensRights13/05/19 03:11 PM

I hate the double standard of women being able to call men whatever names they want but the other way around is completely unacceptable. I feel like as a colored woman, I have a better chance of liberals actually listening to what I have to say. I think I should use this power to make a positive difference but I'm so afraid of confrontational situations.
/r/MensRights13/05/19 03:05 PM

Haha same I think I actually became more conservative after going to college in a liberal area because I realized how crazy liberals are acting.

I think you have every right to be concerned and upset but this letter is too long and a little too aggressive. She is obviously someone very sensitive to criticism especially from males, if she thinks staring at a girl should be a crime. I think in order to make a difference you needed to approach the situation more gently so she doesn't just read the first paragraph and call it a hate mail and ignore it. Overall I'd make the letter shorter maybe by mentioning less points so she doesn't think y…

When I say enough money I mean enough money to go on vacation once or twice a year too. I think house work can be equal work as money making. I actually think you might be a troll.

I agree with all of the first part except for preferential hiring of women in STEM fields. I don't this helps women at all. I think it actually hurts everyone when demographic is part of the consideration in a hiring process. Women who got hired even though less qualified will struggle in the field and probably make less money and take away jobs from more qualified people. I'd be so mad if I ever find out I got hired because I'm a women even though there was someone more qualified than I am. For…

That's so frustrating I had no idea that was happening. Such a waste of money... It's like girls can almost do whatever they want because people are too afraid to call them out (rightfully). Even at my college campus I have wanted to call out unnecessary programs for colored people and for girls, but I'm too afraid. I'm afraid they'll take away my scholarship for me being a "white supremacist" I might be more comfortable my last semester after I get my scholarships to call them out on their stup…

If I was making enough money, I'd be completely be fine with my boyfriend not working at all if he did all of the house work.
/r/MensRights13/05/19 02:09 PM

My boyfriend is a straight white male and I see how differently we are treated especially at our college campus. Do you think you would have gotten a response if you present yourself as a female? Or are they too caught up in their political agenda to even look into what someone with different views are suggesting?
/r/MensRights13/05/19 02:00 PM

As a colored female people sometimes pity me for being a minority but I think I am very privileged. Being a minority does not make me oppressed.

Lmao good point.
/r/MensRights13/05/19 01:44 PM

I feel you, and I'm sorry you have to deal with that. I thought it was just the crazy femminists saying men need to be taught not to rape, not mainstream media. damn that really sucks, I don't know how they don't see the hypocrisy. It's like they are trying to fight sexism with reverse sexism. I feel that the same thing is happening with racism as well.
/r/MensRights13/05/19 01:36 PM

And no one should force Parenthood on someone who is not ready. Although I am pro choice, I think abortion is a really difficult choice to make and if we can lower the odds of it happening that's a great thing.
/r/MensRights13/05/19 01:27 PM

Fair point, I felt like a reverse white knight after posting and thought about taking it down, but I really enjoy the discussion happening. I'm also brand new here and have no idea how karma works. Lol Edit: I don't really care about likes but I love the comments.

Yes, Totally agree!! I moved from Japan when I was 10 years old so English is my second language. I did struggle with the language barrier when I moved here. I could complain and whine about how hard it was to learn a new language in a new country but I am so grateful for this opportunity. Who else gets to live in both Japan and U.S and be able to speak two languages.

I know and I think it's crazy that they are mad about male BC. If femminism was truly about equality, they should be happy that both genders are able to have access to BC.
/r/MensRights13/05/19 01:16 PM

I don't have a strict definition but here are few I delt with. Guys who keeps trying after I tell them I have a boyfriend, co-worker (female) who jokingly asked for my nudes, very old man who thinks he can get away touching me and my co-workers inappropriately. Old man making a blow job joke when I was on my knees stocking the shelves. I work at a gas station so I don't have the highest expectations lol
/r/MensRights13/05/19 01:13 PM

You might be right, it might get worse but as of now I think I have it easier.
/r/MensRights13/05/19 01:06 PM

I honestly think where you live makes a huge difference. I moved from Tennessee to Massachusetts for college and was mind blown by amount of "pussy worshipping" happening at my college. In Tennessee I'd say at least 30% of the women thought modern day femminism was crazy. I actually have a hard time making female friends here because I get so frustrated by their constant blame for others.

Hopefully one day we'll reach full equality :)
/r/MensRights13/05/19 02:15 AM

Maybe so, but I feel like compared to a man I would get more support and sympathy.
/r/MensRights13/05/19 02:07 AM

So true! My boyfriend got his butt grabbed by a girl co-worker at work. Something thats less likely to happen to me, but I'd probably be more afraid than he felt if it happened to me.

Yeah I learned how to reject creeps so it doesn't even bother me much anymore
/r/MensRights12/05/19 11:39 PM

Idk .... I'm a 22f and the housewife life sounds pretty nice to me. I'm pursuing graphic design degree right now and I love it. I would love to work too but I would also love to have a supportive husband so I can take off of work for few years and raise my kids and be a housewife. I think there's a great value in being a housewife.
/r/MensRights12/05/19 11:12 PM
13

True, I do still worry about creeps hitting on me at work. I think I over simplified by saying worry free. And I know crazy feminists think that it's a shameful thing to be a housewife but I haven't experienced anyone telling me that in real life.
/r/MensRights12/05/19 11:01 PM

Yessss exactly this!!! I don't understand how sex-strike would solve anything but fuck abortions being illegal is also scary.
/r/MensRights12/05/19 10:42 PM
13

Isn't this what extreme conservatives want though? For unmarried people to stop having sex? It's not fighting back in any way if you're doing exactly what the opponent wants you to do lol.
/r/MensRights12/05/19 10:37 PM
1

I don't understand how people who do this feels any kind of accomplishment. They have to know they have a genetic advantage. It would ruin the idea of competing for me.
/r/MensRights12/05/19 10:33 PM
8

Agree, but sex-strike is not the answer, seems disconnected from the goal. It just sounds like they want to punish all men for something that's unrelated.
/r/MensRights12/05/19 10:30 PM

I understand being upset about abortions bring illegal but how does being on a sex-strike help??? It seems really disconnected and very insulting to men.
/r/MensRights12/05/19 10:28 PM

for this reason I'm scared to have kids especially a boy. As a colored woman in college with a white boyfriend I have so much more privilege than my boyfriend especially at school. Professors will go out of their way to help me succeed partially because I'm a minority, but with my boyfriend it's like they want to see him fail. He has to go through so many hoops just to get basic help at school.
/r/MensRights12/05/19 10:25 PM
2

If I ever find out that I got hired because I'm a colored woman I'm going to feel so shitty about myself. I'd like to be hired based on my qualifications. I take pride in skills I have and I look up to people who worked hard to earn their skills. As a colored woman with white boyfriend I see how much more "privileged" I am compared to him especially at college.
/r/MensRights12/05/19 09:59 PM
2

I understand you 100%. I'm not against guys refraining from dating because of amount of bad women out there, but it seemed like they all thought the number was zero not even 1 in a 100. I also think area you live in matter. I moved from Tennessee to Massachusetts for college and I believe there are more "red pilled" women like me in Tennessee where in Massachusetts it's close to none. I thought I could have a conversation with them and give them hope. I was so disappointed that I got banned.
/r/MGTOW212/05/19 08:27 PM
2

And I get that, that's why I wanted to know how they want women to behave. I see the double standard even as a woman and it's bad. I just wanted to let them know not all women are bad and some of us even understands that there are double standards.
/r/MGTOW212/05/19 08:06 PM

Yeah it's so sad and what's scary is how big the community is. I didn't think there were that many people who thought like them.
/r/MGTOW211/05/19 04:01 PM

I Just found MGTOW and got banned the same day. I went on there and found bunch of people complaining about women. Some of it seemed valid so I made a post asking what kind of women they find to be acceptable. My mistake was I wrote I'm a 22F... 2 minutes later I was banned from asking a question :( I really just wanted to know what kind of woman they found acceptable.
