They're genuinely playing the game on tutorial mode.

Only men and dogs love unconditionally. Women are complete and total slaves to their holes.

Unbelievable narcissism couple with impossible insecurity seems to be at the core of a LOT of women.

Yup, I got mine going all the way back to 2008 in there. Had to cough them up for an extremely thorough background check.

Giving money to scumbag lawyers is always an awful feeling.

Breaking things is stupid. Channel that rage into something productive and learn to master your emotions and impulses.

When someone tells you who they are, listen. When somebody shows you who they are, believe them.

I'm thinking to myself "how is telling a perfect stranger about my problem supposed to help me?" and then I realized what I've just been doing for the last hour.

Because I wasn't ready to talk about it. I just had to write it out.

Much appreciated. We've always been good about having that "end-of-life, DNR, etc, etc" conversation with each other every year (on our anniversary no less, how fucked is that?). I know her wishes, I have her proxy, and if this means I spend the next decade helping her walk and talk again, I'd be infinitely thankful for that opportunity.

Life is short. You can die as any moment. I've learned in the last week that understanding that and knowing that are two horribly different things. I don't do drugs or alcohol. I'm not a danger to myself. I'm just here for her now. The chief of neurosurgery at he hospital gave me some solid advice on the first afternoon that I'm doing my best to stick to, "put your oxygen mask on first."

No kids, thank God. I'm here still with her, all the court stuff is on hold. I know what "forever" meant when I took that vow, I'm in it for the long haul, come what may.

There's no talk or drug that's going to set this right. I've got her medical power of attorney. I'm spending all day at the hospital, wrangling family and caring for my German Shepherd. All I can do is suck it up and power on for her. I've considered myself a life-long atheist, but I've gone to church every single day since Sunday, because if I'm going to come begging on my hands and knees, I can at least show up.

Yes, without a doubt. She's been cheating for months.

Women never leave a non-abusive relationship without having someone to monkey branch to.

find herself Which means she's been fucking somebody(s) else for 18 months. Run, don't walk. Take advantage of her infidelity and 'bliss' to get the best deal you can.

The overwheing majority of women stop growing emotionally and intellectually at age 14. When you understand that you're dealing with an overgrown child things make more sense.

I'm absolutely, 100% at peace in my own head. I enjoy the silence. If you need company, get a German Shepherd puppy. They're velcro dogs, great at conversation, and they keep half the bed warm.

She's going to rob you blind and destroy your life in 10 years. There's plenty of ways to have a deep and meaningful relationship without letting the state into it. Seriously, don't fucking do it.

Jesus man, don't fucking marry. Letting the state into your relationship WILL destroy your life.

Happens to all of us, especially in the mid 40s. Communicate with your partner in advance, and give the little blue pills a shot , they make me feel 20 years younger.

'Find myself' said by any woman, at any age, means they've been fucking somebody else for months.

Antagonizing, childish shit just creates more problems. It's not conducive to healing. Rise above the pettiness, stay cold and indifferent to her, and just live your best life.

Yeah, that's my thought too. Any time there's an 'out-of-the-blue divorce' there's a 100% chance she's been cheating and planning it for months. Women don't leave because they're unhappy, they leave because they have somebody else lined up to monkey-branch to.

100%. I just left my 'girl boss' wife and I'm never going back to that. Career women are the mosw miserable and unhappy form of women.
