absolutely...the guy that mostly introduced me to TRP now looking back he was an insecure mess but trying VERY hard to hide it behind TRP while I think you can be RP without knowing what TRP is, those that actually seek it out and follow it do seem broken in some way

what i want to know is how tinder figures out who the attractive men are? i sometimes get a "super like-able" card that gives me a sneak peek of some guys i may want to super like.... and i laugh at every single one of them edit - not saying i laugh at the guys personally....but laugh at how tinder even thought i may find them super likeable

my ex did exactly that....he is a sociopath and I mistook him for a captain early on when I met him in college I would never deal with someone who's way to deal with conflict was the silent treatment ever again

But I myself would have a hard time with this, especially because he "joked" that he wouldn't do this. A good caretaking man would not make that joke, then do it, unless there was an established dynamic there. I think that's the part that would bother me the most. That he "joked" and said it was something he wouldn't do, but then did it and it was your first time. Had this been an established relationship I would think of it differently. I've had situations similar to this with my ex, but we h…

thanks! I actually picked up some weights this weekend and had downloaded apps but I like this list better than what I've found on the apps so far

smelling good is another one...I like having a signature scent for each season and it's always one of the first thing a guy comments on when meeting me (how nice I smell)

Dressing in clothes that look nice and fit you right is a big one. Each season I always get a few new trendy pieces to mix and match in my wardrobe. At work we have a pretty casual dress policy and I definitely see a difference in the days I put effort into what I'm wearing vs the days I'm super tired and throw on jeans and a shirt. I always look nice, even with hair, makeup, etc....but the extra effort in my outfit always makes a difference in how people approach me.

I do think there is such a thing as being "too thin"....at a point I was too thin and I didn't feel sexy at all. I felt like I had a little boys body.

i personally do not know any women who do this...but i'm sure there are some out there and if that's your come back for why you do it "they can do it, i can do it too" it speaks of immaturity, but doesn't surprise me from the attitude in the post Just because some people are cruel to others, doesn't mean you have to be. you can still get all the girls you want without being cruel to them, just be honest and your problems with girls not taking your shitty hints may go away.

it's hard to gain weight when you want to (been there done that) do you really think gaining a few extra pounds will seal the deal for commitment? it doesn't sound that way from your post...

but .he's not telling them no and that's the problem being told no is fine...being led on and used and then tossed aside by only hints (not being an adult and saying "hey this was fun while it lasted, but not what I'm looking for long term)...that's cruel. The girls OP has done this to are hurt and looking for closure. Should they be looking for closure? no...but they're human. I'm sure you'll still have a stalker or 2 that gets attached and even when you tell them no they still pursue...but if …

I confused my abusive ex husband for an alpha when I met him young freshman year of college.... there are a lot of red flags in what you posted

"never be afraid of a bitch." favorite line in the post I did not realize this was a huge issue, but I suppose I’d over look any man that would be afraid of women automatically

Where do you live? Small town or a bigger more diverse city? Also don’t take this wrong way because I’ve never seen you. But could you be “too plain” to where you’re just not noticeable?

My oldest (9) was in therapy too when we first left, my youngest is only 3. Now I just try to be supportive of their relationship with their father. It was rocky at first but now it's pretty consistent and so they are doing better.

I put more time into me. Like work outs at home, styling my hair differently, dressing more fashionably, and getting my nails done. It helped me feel better about myself too. I'm 2 years out, but was once where you are. I use to be bitter, but not at all anymore. You'll get there.

I also left an abusive marriage with 2 sons... you heal yourself. therapy, self care, be kind to yourself...but heal you. good luck! feel free to PM if you need anyone to talk to :)

I got the same feeling from the post. also, yes if she doesn't want to have any more children and he wants his own, that alone is a deal breaker.

no, I think it may have dragged out longer. I just think that they were incompatible from the beginning. The cohabitation may have added another factor, but they were doomed either way. That and the age gap. I'm 32 divorced with 2 kids. I can't even fathom dating a 26, let alone marrying one.

it doesn't sound to me like the cohabitation changed anything....the fact they were not compatible from the beginning left them doomed

when you feel the need to text him/talk to him while he's busy, would it ease your mind to send a quick text but not expect anything back? example: I know you're super busy at work and can't talk, but just wanted to let you know I'm proud of you for the hard work you've been putting in. can't wait to see you later! or try to plan little things you can do together when he gets home so you don't focus on his absence during the day? like get his favorite take out and plan a movie night, eat picnic …

agreed...but if someone tells you they are an alpha before you even have the chance to figure out if they are or not.... does that mean they're really not?

Not knowing how to fly a helicopter in an emergency situation doesn't make you not an alpha. An alpha would know how to handle all those situations the right way (i.e. getting someone else opinion if needed, or finding someone who could fly the helicopter)...it has nothing to do with if he/she could take over and control the entire situation themselves.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
