very nice, but if you state murder is worse than rape, you are also stating that womens problems are indeed more important, too.

indeed. i feel this subreddit is trying to be overly political correct, downvoting everything that can be slightly misinterpreted as misogynistic, which is a shame imo. on the other hand it shows the need of places like this, if men are looked upon as female haters if laughing or joking about anything gender specific.

guys would not try very hard to impress a woman like that in bed, so i guess it could be one-sided here.

that may be so, but i can naturally relate mostly to the situation and place i am in. fact is, women have, by law, better rights than men where i live. every time a feminist debates a mens rights activist in public television she goes: men should not have these rights, women have been oppressed 50 years ago, you owe women better rights, men do not deserve these rights because you did not treat women right 50 years ago. this tires me

point taken yoda, but then again i too beleive heavily in womens rights, i just don't think anyone should stand better or worse legally, no matter the gender. i guess i'm influenced by experience, bitter ones, where the lawmakers wan't to improve womens rights, careless about the effect on men.

my problem is that feminism is an "ism" that does not aim for equality, but for gaining rights for women, not caring about stomping on men as long as the goal is reached.

Yep, send that type of "Man" into war please. I interpret this as "send this type of man into war (meaning death) You asked why, i explained to you why, or at least so i thought. On a side-note i think they would make effective soldiers as they do what they are told.. Effective soldiers or not, some would still die, which is what thekvein74 thinks these men should, or that's how i read it anyway. At no point did i say anything about sacrificing anyone, and when you ask a short question, you get …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
