Nothing wrong with going for the kiss. Some girls have a rule not to kiss on the first date and some girls will have sex on the first date, nothing wrong with either. Go for the kiss again when u see her, if she rejects u again then I would move on personally. Before u go for it, make sure you’ve been making contact with her and see how she reacts (playful nudging, hand on lower back, touch her leg, etc.) Warm up to the kiss.

Sorry to hear about that. Hopefully you weren’t with her too long so you can get back out there sooner than later.

Well you at least u waited to double text, that’s the most one can do at that point. But don’t forget that most girls won’t shoot down a guy directly. Which is why it’s leaves some dazed and confused, just keep going forward.

Ideally this new version of you wouldn’t be interested in an ex.

We’ve all been there. As cliche as it sounds, time heals everything. Just take it easy if you’re not mentally ready. Could be 6 months or a year but when you are ready, you’ll know.

“didn’t get the chance to do so” You mean you wussed out, no shame in that. Just use any work excuse to talk to talk to her going forward

Please tell me you were at least talking to other girls during this 6 month fiasco.

Drop the boyfriend line. Just flirt and pursue until she has to tell u IF she has a boyfriend or she straight up rejects u.

Honestly depends on the job, if this was a retail job where you’re not gonna be there long i’d say go for it. Idk if this job is your career but just use any work excuse to talk to her and feel the vibe then proceed.

Don’t do the 2-4 days. She’ll either interpret that as you’re not interested or you’re doing that purposefully to play mind games.

Yea she seems into alright. Next time you talk to her albeit in person or IG try to smooth in a suggestion to hangout in your conversation.

It sounds like you made up your mind. But 4 years is a long time, I would honestly sit down and think about the decision you’re about to make. Maybe give yourself a due date for whatever you decide.

I understand the frustration because I work out and take care of my appearance so when I get a like from a hippopotamus sometimes I’ll say what the hell is wrong with you and immediately press X on them. Here and there you’ll get a decent one to like you but the solution is dedicating a time to send out likes to girls you’re into and go about your day. Reason being is any decently attractive girl will have her batch of likes that she’ll just choose from. Nearly all my matches with attractive gir…

First thing first is to keep your mouth shut at work with you guys. I’ve been with someone at my job and it backfired hard on me. People talk. People I didn’t even know knew about my relationship, it sucked. Keep it quiet. If you end up getting with her. Make sure to have that talk to don’t tell anyone about your relationship/FWB to other co workers. Naturally people at work will ask what’s up with you two and you just respond that you’re friends. I know it’s a lot of charade to do which is why …

She’s giving you the green light man. You have to act soon before the fire will extinguish for her.

Good on you going through that glow up, keep working on it. Now you gotta work on that confidence, you gotta have that “she’s hot but so am I” mentality. This will give you that confidence boost like “yeah she is looking at me” and it’ll lower your hesitation to approach and also see any green lights girls are giving you. I know this interaction with this girl must’ve been 1-2 minutes long but you gotta be ready for it when opportunities arise.

Best to not suggest it unless you already got physical on the first date. More likely than not they’ll say yes to a 2nd date even if they don’t want one to avoid the awkwardness of rejecting you in person. Most girls usually don’t have it in them to even reject you over text hence ghosting.

Got it, i met one through hinge so that would make perfect sense on the commitment and the other at a cafe but it was very brief. But i think i’ll just do that going forward so thanks

You said you don’t care if she likes you or not so what’s the point of trying to decipher all this?

It’s been over a year of you talking to her. You’ve been in the friend zone all this time i’m afraid.

It’s best not to overthink it and just move on, i’ve been there and there’s no benefits. The triple text screams neediness and didn’t help your case too. I’m with you on her at least rejecting you via text but that’s just part of the texting game, girls won’t even waste their time writing a rejection text which leaves men confused like you are. But again, it’s just part of the game. There could be several reasons (her “great company” text hinted low interest imo) why she ghosted, but you don’t n…

Asking the boyfriend question is always a low value move in my opinion. You should always pursue (flirt, suggest to see each other) until they have to tell you IF they have a boyfriend.

As others have said you have been friend zoned. Being how it’s been only 2 weeks, you need to make your intentions clear before you dig yourself deeper.

I bet your friend doesn’t work out. Get him too. It won’t solve everything but it’s the stepping stone that’ll lead to improve other areas of his life.

Just wanna give u my support cause i’ve been through this situation at work and it’s just terrible. You know people are constantly talking about you guys and there’s nothing u can do about it is pure hell. If you end up rekindling your relationship with her then I would tell her that you guys shouldn’t talk at work, like ever. Maybe a casual hi or whatever but that’s it. Keep the talking outside of work, you guys aren’t in school. That’s what I would do if I could go back and fix my work fling.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
