You could always shoot them a text a few days later and just invite them to something. Hey I’m grabbing drinks at X location, you should swing by. If they don’t answer then move onto the next one. Or she will say sure. I’m not sure how you met these women, but if you didn’t create a huge initial impact on her then her commitment to you won’t be that big.

There is a line between being needy and showing interest.

Girl 1 replying with a laughing emoji can signify the end of that conversation, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try to initiate another conversation.

Example with girl 2. Showing interest: 3-4 days later you message her to see how she is doing. Needy: After a day you message her asking how she is feeling?

This puts the ball in their court. They either respond or they don't. If they don't respond then the conversation is dead.

If they respond with another conversation stopper, I would say it's another lost cause. Unless they then show interest in you by initiating the conversation sometime after that.

And you're handling these situations pretty well because they both indicate lowering interest. We can discuss why their interest was lowered but that is a different topic. So good job recognizing to not blow up their phones at this point

When a conversation goes cold you reach out once 5-7 days later to start setting up logistics for a date. You want the mindset that you got caught up in your own shit too and now you're just thinking you know what, I wonder if she's free?

A lot of people will say that's too long and whatever else. Here's the thing, if a girls head over heels for you she's going to be texting you, bottom line. If they are anything less than crushing on you, they're probably not going to be putting in much effort and then a guy over pursuing will scare her off completely. So when you recognize that distance, you instant give her 5-7 days space. A lot of the time, she'll contact you within that time if she's still digging you

I should say this advice really is geared toward having had at least one date with the girl. I'm not sure where you're at

Another thing is guys will think a girl lost interest because he was too cold and distant and that can happen to novices who think more about himself than thinking about sparking a girls emotions and feelings. And then maybe a girl will say you should text me more or something. This is a trap. They want more of your free validation. Save your affection for face to face. Or if they text you something cute, do not get caught up in and endless conversion but say "I love when you text me it really makes my day better" then stop
