That's the point, really: much of the PUA industry is about explaining the same things in different ways so the truths of it click for different people. But when you're in it for a while, even we who learned this mechanically, as opposed to someone like you, who had this for the past ten years, it gets kind of circular: at first a punch is just a punch, then it's so much more than that, and at the end it's just a punch again. Sorry to paraphrase, but Bruce Lee really nailed it. So what I'm tryin…

This should be interesting, even though the locals will probably assault you with little more than "hurr-durr, it's because you're handsome". But I'll bite. Where do you meet women? What's the transition between hanging out and bam, sex? How do you screen for thr girls who would be up for a fling? And are you majoring in women's studies?

Idk why you're getting downvotes. It's more of an issue with the masses who are not willing to read up on the subject or are unable to figure out reddit's impotent search function. That being said, without the drive for learning by yourself, you will never get good at this. Even when asking the right questions in the right situations, you're still getting an answer handed to you, which cannot compare to the experience itself, and rarely, if ever is there a post which is detailed enough to fill t…

Only on seddit where being good looking can warrant insults. :D If it's reassuring, I'm on a constant bad-hairday 24/7 drunk with a pot belly and skinny arms. My friends aren't spectacular by far either on the looks department. Thank you for your trust, and best of luck!

I've only teased my first gf some five years ago with a test kiss, but been doing fine without it, so... uh? Plus because you're going to be drawing back and forth with the tension, there's plenty of room for doing test kiss teases if that's your thing, I mean I can picture that, once you get a decline on step three. 'If I'm not getting that, then I'm taking this back as well!' But maybe there's a misunderstanding here, do you honestly think I advocate lunging for the kiss? Of course you're goin…

It works well for social circle game. You're just on step 1 for a prolonged time, doing more of a preemptive friend-zoning. The pace picks up after your first push towards step two, obviously. I don't think it kills sexual tension, it does so only if you're a numbnut on the followup: reverting one step back per the old ladder, or keeping it on that level flattens the curve. If you push through by hardcore escalation, then it's a charged situation altogether again from where you can take it to th…

Thank you for your input, I find the triangle thought really interesting! As for "assume attraction"... from what I've gathered lately, sexual attraction is more like a force of nature, and most of us are overestimating our roles in it. That's why it works to 'assume' it, because it's there, free to ride for anyone - but due to a variety of different reasons, taking the chance and riding that is the hard part. Hence the tomes of techniques and modes and explanations and beatings around the bush.

This is seddit. Most of what we write can be interpreted negatively with a little bit of effort. 'Realize, that in a pick up, mutually receptive setting, no usually means 'not now'.'
/r/seduction30/09/11 03:22 PM

Did I say that? The years worth of evolution as you put it has already produced several different modes and methods which contradict one another, yet based on anecdotal evidence and the lack of business bureau investigations they seem to work. People are different, women are different, seduction is different. Five steps can also be explained with overly-complicated seduction broscience, but I care not about that. What I know is that it works, and for many people, so does the linear progression o…

So you're saying you don't believe in something that I write, but would give it a second thought based on something else that I write? (: I apologize, but I'm mostly a lurker on seddit, nor that I post FR-s anymore on any of the boards I visit, due to a variety of reasons. One is lack of time, and the other is that I've made it where I am by myself, as I analyze the shit out of my own failures to great effect.

This isn't something I cooked up on the spot while bored. I simply took time and thought about how my recent pickups and the successful ventures of some of my friends (which I have eye witnessed for the most part) went, and because we're mostly borderline sociopaths when it comes to mindfucking people (I JEST), this seemed to be a recurring pattern, that the charge isn't built linearly. A possible misunderstanding may be that the time between the steps isn't 'rapid' like with MM drills. There's …

AHA, communication! What you are saying is very much spot on. However, for me this whole phenomenon raised a whole different question - especially because even their side of the coin is understandable. Escalation, teasing and the lot... we do that a thousand times before we get it right, and when we do, it's because we understand why we were doing it in the first place. Telling someone who might or might not be a passive aggressive neckbeard to do the same while he is placing the girl on a pedes…

Yup, I think I accidentally half a sentence or two. My drunken self ain't exactly a lit-major. I saw some rather dodgy shit over there, and I know that eg. relationship_advice has some ex-PUA's among the most constructive commenters, who can phrase what we learned in a way that a normal person can understand as well. Hence this post. I aimed it at the butthurt people lurking here who drag their shit over there, while simultaneously asking/advising for the more level-headed bunch to put their two…

I saw a couple of comments which reeked of the Sperm Wars butthurt mindset, and this was aimed specifically towards the people who make those, and are more than abundant in the community, rather than seddit as a whole, which I know to be a generally welcoming and constructive place. Heh. So okay, I've been in the game for a good while now, but AA never, never truly leaves. It transforms, but it never leaves. What I do, knowing that I'm never staking the whole night with one girl, is that I go through a series of motions each night out. This is based upon 'backwards time framing'. My last set is going to be my solid close /F, K, number, what-ever-the-fuck./ My middle sets are going to be FUN, and they might end up as my last set. My first sets are going to be ridiculous for …

Lots of solid and lots of wacky opinions already, but I'll chip in as well with something that might help you. Or not, then you can ask for a refund for your four minutes. Functionally asexual is NOT asexual. Asexual means to completely lack sexual desire, which seems to be not the case, as you're posting here, with a strong emotional opinion. There is a phase in your life when you can share your problems in a manner in which they don't come off as needy or over-bearing. The aftermath and your presumption show that you are good at GAME - but you're not quite solid as a person. It's just a wild guess, but you're probably just a more 'tactical and leathly potent' version of your older self, not the man you aspire to be. The situation isn't beyond fixing, but you really need to blow off some steam from the deep down end, otherwise this n…

Look at it this way. Women like to be nice. Or rather, they don't like to be rude. Guys like you and me, we get a phone call, even from someone hotter or more valuable, we're going to put an end to that within seconds, because we're focused. Women usually aren't like that. Accept it, own up, and as advised above, handle it like a man. There's no trick for this, because of the core differences the two sexes have. as a side note, is anyone interested in a.. more 'advanced' seddit? which would be less about FR-s, but more philosophy, akin to shit like AFC adam's massive social circle building game and more in-depth realizations regarding attraction. sort of a communal idea sharing base for people who are already okay-good-great at attracting and laying women, but want to do a one-up. You still give too much fuck. I won't boo you with inner game like the others, but I would definitely recommend mindfulness meditation or something of that sort. not quite. the whole 'being a douche' thing seems to work because fundamentally men and women get two different vibes out of an asshole. you notice, at face value, that it's about being a dick. for a girl, it means a whole lot of different things that make this guy attractive. there's a whole lot of literature about this, and I'd wager most of the seduction scene is about the attractive qualities of such a fellow without being a cockjuggler. as a general rule though, don't be nice to people who …

Nothing really constructive to give, just a series of upvotes - this is also th explanation why your results as a 'player' sky rocket once you stop looking for the goddamn signals, because the standard IOI's are false positivies, and the change of behaviour from the girl is the real give away that she really likes you, and really wants this to work, and is dead nervous not to fuck it up. Yeah, I'm gonna go with a "fuck that shit" on that one. The world of creative work has drastically changed with internet piracy, and most of the time the job isn't over with writing and publishing a book. i am advocating piracy, and you should make a rule for yourself: never spend a dime on PUA materials, be it a product or bootcamp or whatever. read what you can, try things out and grind the success out of yourself, and only spend money if it DIRECTLY affects you (clothing, gym, etc.).

Honestly it sounds like you were the one getting seduced (: For the most part, fastest possible is my form of approach, dubbed the "columbian gangster", born the day when I opened a girl on the dance floor by accidentally stepping on her bag, making her lean in when she started dissing me, gone for the make out on the third sentance spoken, dragged off, felt up for a ten minutes or so, get in a cab, to her apartment, no resistance. Fun times.

Yeah, looks count. Great myth of seduction debunked. It pains me to no end to see a whole lot of whackjob theory getting thrown around to the down right micro elements of how to hold your fucking glass in the bar to be more alpha, but there is so little literature within the community on how to improve your looks. Seriously, most people have no clue - your facial structure, well, you can't change that. But you can pretty much change everything else, and that adds up a whole fucking lot. tl;dr: h…

Hell, what a lot of people don't get in the PUA community is that once you GET IT, you could actually wine and dine a girl and pull it off. It doesn't work with most people because they rely on the strategy to do all the work for them, instead of being genuinely interesting and being able to communicate it accordingly - everything else is just a context for that, and the context doesn't get you laid.

I'm not fucking someone senseless to destabilize the system, and Bakunin quotes don't make good dirty talk either. The thing is, the broader seduction community is about emulating attraction scenarios as they occur naturally in between normal human beings, and most people joined to fix some sort of social retardation. It is selfish, and will never become a movement nor is it able to spearhead a new sexual enlightment, because as you stated in the original post, it is founded within the same thou…

I recommend watching the Blueprint - because those dbags you talk about have no idea either, and at the end of the day this is more about manipulating yourself and chopping down your self-sabotaging tendencies than doing some fancy series of tricks that get the chicks to put out. One that worked for me even before I got into this stuff; is telling a girl that she makes me nervous and then taking her hand and placing it over my crotch so she can feel my (supposedly flaccid) cock while looking into her eyes.
