Oh well, I guess I’m not surprised about Youtube, they’ve been getting more and more “progressive” over time.

I’ve never heard of MGTOW being censored, I think you are being too paranoid to be honest. You seem to think that society is out to get you, but the cold, hard truth is that no one cares about you. Corporations don’t want to control you or make you addicted to anything, they just want to make money. If you don’t like what they’re selling, don’t buy into it, it’s as simple as that.

I see. You make it sound like you are afraid of marriage, which is fine, I totally get it. Just maybe fear is not the best thing to build a life upon. I don’t want to marry because I want to prioritize my own happiness instead of having to look after others. But you do you, I know women can be terrifying.

I’m sorry you feel that way, but if you really want to get married, you shouldn’t let the law stand in your way. Good women are hard to find but I believe there are some out there. MGTOW is not really for you if you are waiting for the right girl to cone along.

Oh no, I didn’t even know that sub to be honest. I was talking about people saying red pill within the MGTOW community.

You’re right. For me facing reality and setting myself free has made me happy, but I can see how that wouldn’t work for everyone. I guess what I meant was setting yourself free is the first step towards real happiness.

I don’t think I’m wrong though. If you want to talk about definitions, what red pill means is to see the ugly truth. And that is just a fact, it comes from the Matrix movie. Red pill to see the ugly truth, blue pill to return to blissful ignorance. There’s nothing there about women, that is just your opinion.

I’m sorry if you feel insulted friend, I simply responded you in the same way you did. I just made this post to express my opinion and wanted to hear others, and I disagree with you.

Absolutely, who needs social experience when you’ve got the internet. You should go out more ;)

True, but not getting married has nothing to do with women. MGTOW stay single because they want to find happiness on their own terms, not because they understand the sexual nature of women and want to get away from that. Red pill has nothing to do with women, it’s all about finding yourself.

Oh I apologize, I guess I made that assumption. My logic was that if you claim to truly understand women and still decide to go your own way, then you must not like them very much.

I disagree. To me red pilled doesn’t mean hating women, but loving yourself. For some that means MGTOW but it not the only path.

I’ve been wanting to go my own way ever since I was like 12, I always thought the whole idea of marriage was stupid and a family would only put you last in the list of priorities. However, I don’t think any less of those men out there who decided to go their own way after some bad experience with women. After all, everything in most cultures around the world is designed to make people believe single men are weirdos and having a family is what you’re supposed to do, so it can be hard to break fre…

You know, you don’t really HAVE to belong to a community. Above all, MGTOW teaches to go your own way, do what makes you happy, and that is different for every person. Don’t try to find a group that suits your mentality, and don’t change your mentality to fit into a group. Just be your own man.

I didn’t read everything but I did read quite a lot and what I gather is that you are really into crazy parties and wild sex. If that’s what you really want, then stay at it. However I have realized that these things are like a chain keeping you down, instead of living for every moment, you live waiting for the next high. I advise you to stop for a while, take at long look at yourself, forget about what others might think of you and try to find out what really makes you happy. Red pill, blue pil…

The most important thing is that you remain in control of your life. If you make the decision to hire an escort, that’s fine. But if at some point you start feeling like it becomes an addiction and you can’t live without them, then you’d better stop. That’s how as I see MGTOW anyway, as being independent and not needing anyone to be happy.

If everyone agrees with you, then it’s not a discussion, it’s a circle jerk. I believe it’s always good to try to see things from different perspectives, even if it comes from some one who knows nothing about the subject at hand.

I think that’s kind of a simple explanation. It may work for you but I like to know a bit more about characters. Like where he came from, what are his motivations, etc. Simply saying that he’s the incarnation of chaos and wants to destroy everything just because he’s evil seems a bit lazy to me.

As a group for serious discussions, I believe a woman’s opinion would be much welcomed here. But because issues here revolve mostly around men, I don’t know if you’ll be able to get much from them.

I don’t want to go much into spoiler territory here, I’ll just say the biggest mystery to me was the Crimson King and all his followers. I never really understood what they were exactly.

I never get tired of recommending the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett. At first sight they seem to be simple fantasy parody, but they actually go in pretty deep into human behavior and the way the world works (in a very light sort of way). For me they are not just greatly entertaining, I’ve learned a lot from those books and they’ve helped me improve my life quite a bit.

I don’t know if I would recommend the Dark Tower after having finished it. It is certainly expertly written and it is very engaging, but at times it can be confusing and the ending was very unsatisfying to me. I was also left with many unanswered questions. I know some people like that because they fill all the holes in their heads, but I prefer it when a book explains everything in detail and this is not the case here.

I’m not a psychologist or anything like that, but what it seems to me is that you are terrified of failure, so you want to avoid making decisions so you don’t have to take responsibility if anything goes wrong. My advice would be to start trying to do things on your own without the help of anyone else. If you feel like you can’t do something, then learn. Remember that the internet is the best learning tool you could possibly ask for. Failure is always a possibility when you aim for success, but …

Oh I see what you mean, but in that case it really is highly subjective. If having goals is something that gives you satisfaction, that’s great for you, but it doesn’t work the same for everyone. Just because I don’t have any long term goals it doesn’t mean that I can’t have a meaningful life, going by your idea of what that means.
/r/MGTOW213/12/19 10:51 PM

I guess my problem with that is that I don’t really understand what you mean by meaningful life. That’s the sort of thing people always say and I just don’t get it, what exactly is the meaning of life, who are we living for that we have to make our lives matter, and matter to whom exactly? In my opinion, we don’t know the answer to all these questions (there may be none) so instead of following an abstract sense of duty, I’d rather enjoy my life every moment that I can. If you have a clear idea …

Not necessarily, I’m not constantly looking for new goals just for the sake of having something to do. I’m pretty happy with my life as it is, so I don’t really need to always have a new goal.

Yes, to be honest doubt exists but it doesn’t come from within, it comes from friends and family who are always telling me similar things to what you said. That’s why I wanted to hear from other mgtow. Thank you for your words!

It works for me. I’m a simple man who can find happiness in the little things. In any case, I have always thought it was more important to be happy in the present than to put yourself through pain so that you could be happy in the future. Planning ahead is great, but not if it means I have to suffer for it.

Absolutely, I love my current life. As far as my ambitions go, they don’t really revolve around work and money, I’d rather have peace of mind.

I guess money is not that important to me. I don’t want to get rich, I just want enough to get by, and being alone I have very few expenses so I don’t need a lot of money. I have worked in a low paying job for about 4 years and already I’m very close to financial independence. I’ll never live a life of luxuries, but I’ll get by.

You say it’s important to have goals, otherwise you are stuck, but why is that so bad? That’s what people always say but they never say why it is bad to be stuck. What if that’s exactly what you want because you already like the way your life is turning out?
/r/MGTOW213/12/19 10:58 AM

Isn’t there a middle point though? I believe it is possible to become financially independent without working terribly hard, only it takes longer. I guess that is my point, would you rather work 5 years in a job that is very demanding but pays very well, or 15 years in a job with much less responsibilities?

I’m 28 years old and I never in my life wanted to have a family. The decision was pretty easy for me because growing up I didn’t once see a happy marriage. My parents, grandparents, uncles, older cousins, friend’s parents, all of them were either divorced, 2nd marriages or argue or all the time. I knew there were happy moments in a marriage that I would never experience, but I just never thought they would be worth a whole life of suffering. So far I’m pretty happy with my life, specially now th…

Try to become independent in every aspect of your life, don’t depend on anyone for anything. Start building your life the way you want to, and don’t cave in to the pressure from friends or family to do what they want you to do. It would also be good if you could save as much money as you can so you can eventually become financially independent, but don’t go to extremes, it’s ok to spend money on yourself. That instinct of attraction you’re talking about will go away once you are happy with your …

Thankfully I’m healthy and I love to spend the holidays with my family, specially nephews and nieces, so I wasn’t really aware of this issue. Thank you for bringing it up, and good luck to any men out there dealing with it. Remember that going your own way doesn’t mean you have to be alone, and at the very least you will always have this great community for company. Happy holidays!

I’m in introvert too and when I was your age I used to crush hard on girls aswell. I realized that the reason why I idolized them was because I didn’t really know them very well, but sometimes I would get close to them and see that they were not so perfect after all. So my advice would be to try to get to know them better and see what happens. Otherwise you can try finding a hobby that you really like to put your mind off these girls. You’re still young so your obsession with girls is completely…

You don’t need anyone’s approval to cook or bake. You like doing it and it doesn’t hurt anyone, that’s all that matters.
