I would like to start a discussion about this because I think my thoughts on the subject differ greatly from the majority of people. I have always heard people say that it’s important to have goals and that you always have to work as much as you have to, in order to achieve them, but I think it’s not as simple as that. I think it’s important to consider if your goal is worth the effort.

I should explain that I don’t enjoy hard work. It’s not that I’m lazy, I’m very responsible and I always do my best in every job, it’s just that I prefer living without any responsibilities. I like to sit back and relax with a good movie, book or videogame, so whenever I set a goal for my life, I ask myself if it’s worth the trouble, unless it involves doing something that I already enjoy doing.

So I’d love to hear what you guys have to say. Do you think you have to do whatever it takes in order to achieve your goals? Would you put up with any amount of work, even if it’s something you hate doing? Would you accept living a life that you hate for a few years so that you can live a little better afterwards? Or would you rather forget some of your goals so you can enjoy the present a bit more?
