I dint think women are doing something to men in return for all these chivalry acts. chivalry must die. I think men are growing (atleast me) sick and tired of opening doors and other chivalry acts and still be bitched on my back, barked upon by all feminists even for issues which barely got something to do with strength/whatever of women. I think feminism got into a whole wrong way. There is no point in supporting chivalry.

contact a human rights group. they might be able to help you. Even though they may not be able to get the cops take action against her on the ground of domestic violence, they can help him in some other way as it is atleast considered by law as human rights violation. Also, if your father comes out of that mess, who is going to take care of him ? This needs to be addressed before taking any affirmative action.

What kind of Math is that ?. 39840 out of 207090 for breast cancer is 19.2 % death rate. 32050 out of 217730 for prostate cancer is 14.7 % death rate. (neglecting the under reporting of prostate cancer cases). Prostate Cancer deaths are 3/4th of the total breast cancer deaths and it receives 44 % ( less than half ) of government funding. When is the last time you heard for prostate cancer donation and you cannot miss out a breast cancer charity shit in every corner of the street ?

So, its not a question of when she wants to with draw, but its about her expressing and able to continue her consent while being able to till she want to withdraw which eliminates the need of a case which addresses the issues of " while being intoxicated ". I agree with trespassing. The case here is she expressed her consent for sex before getting intoxicated, but she didnot have a chance to withdraw her consent after intoxicated, but realized that she wanted to withdraw later when she became conscious again. what could be the potential logic here ? 3.I agree with you on the point of "reporting".

What I am pressing for here is not a guarantee, but a provision in law to address such issues. Law does not guarantee anything for anybody. I understand it couldn't guarantee safety for women or protection against rape, but it has the provision for punishing those criminals who have committed such crimes. Even if we assume that the 18% figure is cooked up and the figure is low, (Its much more in the USA than it is in India, the same article cites sources from US Army) the fact is undeniable and the article just calls for the punishment given to the people who make false allegations. It doesn't in any way support the idea of giving leverage the actual rapists on the grounds of doubt.

Breast Cancer and Prostate Cancer are very different types of cancer. And I am not calling here for reduction in funding for Breast Cancer or even not calling for women to support for prostate cancer, it would be nice if they do but we can not expect that in this sexiest society.
