Don't get caught up in the moral aspect of it. Just remember, judges are people too and have egos like people. If you disrespect a judge, he is going to be pissed and award judgment against you hard.

Trusts are really complicated and vary widely. However, one general aspect is that you can't easily access money inside a trust. Which has downsides if you actually want to spend it.

It can be if you or your so make sacrifices for the other person. With a good prenup, it establishes a fair partnership between two people. If you are two independent people deciding to live together, or you are a rich guy who enjoys her company, then no marriage isn't beneficial.

If you really want to help, just email the husband anonymously. Keep it short and mention any sexual traits he would hand noticed. This will burn your bridge with the girl, so only do if you we finished with her.

He didn't say the op should invest. Just that the girl wanted him to.

Define "average." For this conversation, the specific doesn't matter. Even if you grabbed a slightly below average girl and an above average guy, the girl will still have a much easier time hooking up. However, if you really want a specific definition: Find a website that lets you rate a person's attractiveness and go for pictures at the median rating. It being "harder" doesn't mean he can't come close to that. He would have to be extremely lucky to land even 1 girl if he put as little effort as…

I honestly don't know where to go with this conversation if you are that delusional. Its much easier for women to hook up than men. If you don't believe me, set up a fake okcupid account as an average female(steal pics from google). Say you are interested in casual sex and wait to see how many guys want to hook up with you. Repeat with an average looking male.

I'm sure men are just as bad Men don't have the opportunity to be as bad. An average girl can go into a club, get smashed, declare she wants to get fucked before her wedding and have 5 different guys inside her before the night is over. An average guy can't do anything close to that.

The girls I know in good relationships didn't go out to Vegas or a club for their bachelorette party. They did girlly things and celebrated getting married.

Now saying women going with friends is inappropriate behavior, that's a bit different. That I disagree on. Its not that its inherently wrong to go out to a bar or club with friends, but a happy faithful woman would not want to. A woman in a relationship who wants to go to clubs is either looking for validation from other men or living vicariously through her single friends. Neither is good for your relationship.

don't let your girl go out with her friends especially if they are slutty. This misses the point. A happy faithful woman doesn't go to the bar, lose all self control and start fucking random guys. However, a faithful woman does not enjoy going out to bars with slutty friends. If she wants to cheat, she will. You might stop her from going to the bar, but you can't stop her from interacting with guys elsewhere. What you should do is act aloof and disinterested. If she does go out with slutty frien…

Sounds like she planned out the pattern most women fall into naturally. She could have realized that none of the alphas are ltr material(few college alphas are), so she decided to just fuck them for a few years then settle with the stable nice guy.

The feminist issue is that what's attractive to women are coercive traits. Women want a man who intimidates them. One who is older, more aggressive, wealthier. It flies in the face of the "equality" they want.

This is flawed in that evolution takes a very long time to produce change compared to social movements. It takes thousands of years to evolve differences while social change happens in decades.

Which is why TRP points out just how terrible it is that people are growing up in homes with no father or a beta father. You can bet that no red pill father would let his daughter date a guy like this or raise a daughter who would accept this shit.

but a woman does not have to "just get it" Only because you set your standards low. There are women who do "just get it". See /r/redpillwomen. No, most women don't get it, but neither do most men. The main difference is that women who don't understand the system get angry and blame the man, while men try to suplicate the woman.

he was older and extremely manipulative I have seen guys pull this stuff before. Its really low level manipulation. Basically, you start doing something sexual, then when she says no you wait 5 minutes and try again. It won't work if the girl is really against sex, but if she is on the fence it will.
/r/TheRedPill15/05/14 07:06 AM

. But for guys who are interested in maintaining relationships, you CANNOT depend on being a sex-crazed asshole in order to maintain a higher value in the relationship. This depends on what you want out of the relationship. If you treat it as a typical relationship then this is a bad frame. However, if he viewed her as more of a FWB thing then he held the right frame. Also, she clearly isn't telling the truth.
/r/TheRedPill15/05/14 07:03 AM

So, you learn the ways of women through men? That makes no sense at all but, have at it, I suppose. Studies have found that women are terrible at predicting what they find attractive.

In that case, its insecurity that bothers you, not being muscular.
/r/TheRedPill14/05/14 08:28 PM

Isn't this anti-RP? Buying gifts for her? You completed missed the point on that. You absolutely should buy gifts for your girl. The key is that they are gifts, not obligations. For example, if you pay for every meal with her, she starts to expect that. It stops being a gift. However, if you have money then you really should buy her fancy gifts every now and then.
/r/TheRedPill14/05/14 08:25 PM

I've had to check guys before because they thought they could make little comments or have a little inside joke with my girlfriend while I'm standing right there. How do you do this? I can't think of a way to do it without making myself look worse.
/r/TheRedPill14/05/14 03:39 AM

If they were logical, I think the beta relationships would be much happier and more succesful though. There are lots of guys who would trade half their money for a lifetime of crazy sex.
/r/TheRedPill14/05/14 03:15 AM

Because women don't do this consciously. They operate off feelings. They don't feel the tingles for the beta guy so they won't do it.
/r/TheRedPill14/05/14 03:11 AM

If he is going to be a supplicating beta and bend to your will then he needs to act like one. If he doesn't then there's something obviously wrong with him - it's all somehow his fault. Remove the moralizing and its good advice. If he is a beta guy, he will get over it. Otherwise he is going to break up with you.

We have that here, but its a context dependant word. Your mom refers to her friends as "the girls" to give the illusion of youth. "Girls night out" refers to women going dancing and drinking as a group, something they used to do a lot when they were younger. By contrast, nobody says "We hired a 40 year old girl for the new job".
/r/TheRedPill08/05/14 04:05 PM
12

I would have nexted her already. Yeah, she might agree to it for now, but she is already inclined to branch swing to the the next time you guys have a fight/you lose frame. A good girl for an LTR isn't one who loves you unconditionally(doesn't exist), but one who will have a moderate level of tolerance for screwups, because
/r/TheRedPill08/05/14 04:00 PM

Of course, the proper alpha 20%ers will refuse to allow this bullshit in their relationships. Actually I think the alphas will be the ones who stop this from widespread acceptance. These guys may actually benefit from polygamy(because they can go out and get laid) if their wife starts letting herself go/is too busy with kids. Its the ultimate dread game.
/r/TheRedPill08/05/14 03:56 PM

18-22 is still in "girl" territory. I don't really consider someone a woman until they are past undergraduate college. Most red pill characteristics apply equally well to teenage girls, and we do have plenty of teenage boys reading the sub and posting in it.
/r/TheRedPill08/05/14 03:48 PM

Someone who is 40 is very rarely referred to as a girl. Girl has the implication of youth and immaturity.

The problem there is a lot of guys(including my old self) were not naturally appealing. Plenty of guys just sit on their ass playing video games all day after work. That guy is not appealing if he is himself.
/r/TheRedPill08/05/14 03:40 PM

Most women are not able to do that level of self reflection. The guys they consider attractive appear genuine, so they assume he is genuine.
/r/TheRedPill08/05/14 03:37 PM

The issue is that the word "best" is incredibly vague. There are 100 best versions of myself depending on what I am trying to accomplish.

Women has age implications to it. Someone who is 18 is typically considered a girl, yet she is still following the same trend.

What people really mean when they say "I can't get a job" is "I can't find a job I am interested in close to where I live".
/r/TheRedPill03/05/14 06:35 AM

Jobs for young people, especially young men, are toast. Combined with high debt load and unaffordable housing, any red pill man with material success can enjoy a default state of spinning plates. This is completely wrong. There are plenty of jobs out there for motivated young people. Look at anything related to natural gas. You can make 80k+ a year in the oil fields if you work hard and can learn. What you can't expect is a comfy desk job at 24 without being extremely talented and hardworking.
/r/TheRedPill03/05/14 06:33 AM

The problem is that there are 10 grunts for every supervisor. So that strategy can't work for most of the grunts.
/r/TheRedPill01/05/14 06:23 PM
1

You can usually transition into something more white-collar as you age (e.g. supervisor, manager, process consultant, technical sales) You can't "usually" do this. There is going to be 1 supervisor for every 10 blue-collar workers. Similar ratio on the rest of those positions. Some of the blue collar workers will transition, but its impossible for the majority to do so.
/r/TheRedPill01/05/14 06:22 PM

Less so though. Men aren't as pressured to lose weight and they don't need social validation as much as women.
/r/TheRedPill30/04/14 05:45 AM

Men have less pressure to lose weight than women. Society doesn't care as much about men being fat. So this trend is much weaker in men. Edit: women also rely on social validation more than men. So respond to societal pressure much more.
/r/TheRedPill30/04/14 05:44 AM

As the op pointed out, women have extremely strong motivations to lose weight. If those aren't enough, its a self control issue.

Family courts are actually taken very seriously: depending on the amount of money involved, they could still get to him.
/r/TheRedPill30/04/14 05:35 AM
1

Yeah. I would estimate how much lost income the woman is out due to those sacrifices, then adjust downward based on how much the husband can afford to give her. Fortunately, my state provides good pre-nup laws, so the courts have much less control. The husbands who get screwed are the ones that rely on the state to decide divorce asset distribution.
/r/TheRedPill28/04/14 06:00 AM
1

I never specified how much money the husband should give. That will heavily depend on the circumstances. But there is a point where the husband can work less(to make up for living on his own) while still providing support.
/r/TheRedPill28/04/14 05:56 AM
1

I am fortunate then. In Texas, prenups can address all assets and aren't thrown out without a good reason.
/r/TheRedPill28/04/14 05:48 AM
1

The issue is that years of cleaning and cooking look terrible on a job resume. When you make a career sacrifice, you don't just sacrifice current income, you sacrifice future income as well. Note: this is all dependent on the wife actually making those sacrifices. I don't support alimony if the wife just earns less.
/r/TheRedPill27/04/14 10:39 PM
1

It should be the same either way.
/r/TheRedPill27/04/14 10:34 PM
2

I am not supporting that scenario as she made less money for herself. A scenario I would support is a wife who had to switch to a lower paying job when her husband got transferred to a different city. It's rare for people to stick to the same job their entire life and they frequently have to move.
/r/TheRedPill27/04/14 10:31 PM
1

In an ideal system, yes. The current system heavily favors women, but the solution is not to create a system that's biased in favor of men. It should be fair. Personally I have a prenup to deal with this, but most people aren't pragmatic enough to plan for possible failures and have to figure it out in court afterwards.
/r/TheRedPill27/04/14 10:26 PM

Then you are eliminating what little purpose marriage has. The idea is that the couple acts for the best interest of the couple. In divorce, alimony is supposed to reflect each persons contribution to the marriage. If you don't want that, then there is no reason to get married.

The only ones dating single moms should be single dads.

What if she has a job, but had to go for a worse paying one to support her husbands career?
/r/TheRedPill27/04/14 04:40 PM

Disagree. Rent includes more than just the cost of rooms. Bigger room should pay more, but not a 1:1 ratio.
/r/TheRedPill27/04/14 04:27 PM

The disability case is a great reason not to adopt(or marry). The government looks at parental income when determine disability payments. You will get a lot more not adopting.
/r/TheRedPill27/04/14 04:52 AM
1

In the case of a bio kid, your choices are be the kids father or the kid doesn't exist. The adoptive kid already exists and you can do most of the same stuff whether or not you adopt him.
/r/TheRedPill26/04/14 10:34 PM
2

I an guessing you have no experience with family court. Courts don't care about rights of the parent. They care with what's in the best interest of the child. If one parent has spent her entire life with the kid, and the other hasn't, courts are going to award her full custody because they want to provide a stable environment for the child. At best, the adoptive father will get visitation rights. They will however require child support, because that is also in the best interest of the child.
/r/TheRedPill26/04/14 05:16 PM
4

And if you want the legal rights just adopt him or her. You still don't really get legal rights. In the event of a divorce, the judge is going to award the biological parent full custody 99 times out of 100(the 100th time the mom is in prison). The only thing you get out of adoption are responsibility.
/r/TheRedPill26/04/14 07:18 AM
2

Completely agree. My dad married a single mom and I think it worked out very well. Both sides benefit from the arrangement. By contrast, a childless husband has to do a lot of extra work with the kid, but isn't getting anything in return.
/r/TheRedPill26/04/14 07:16 AM
7

Moral of the story: It's possible to date someone with a kid without being a doormat about it. OP didn't claim that single mothers are undatable, just that them being a single mother makes them less worth dating. As you said, her having a kid was a clear source of difficulty. And that difficulty would have gotten worse after marriage.
/r/TheRedPill26/04/14 07:14 AM

I wasn't referring to the ring in particular, but the idea that the wife should pay for all her own expenses. For example, we have had to move for my career before. My wife had to take a paycut. She also does more of the housework. So I cover more communal expenses from my income.

Marriage is complicated. In many couples, the woman will make career sacrifices for her husband, and it makes sense to compensate her for that.

There is a limit on how much younger you can date though. If you start looking to marry at 30, you likely won't until 35.
/r/TheRedPill22/04/14 11:32 PM

The issue is that the good girls are all young and mostly marry other somewhat young men(although slightly older). Finding a good girl with only a few ltrs is hard at 25, but nearly impossible at 30.

"That movie sucked." Isn't a moral claim. It's a claim about the quality of the movie. Saying she sucks as a fwb isn't a moral claim either. It's a claim about her quality as a fwb.
/r/TheRedPill17/04/14 12:09 AM

This is kinda pointless. If I know she isn't worthy of my trust, I wouldn't spy in her I would leave her. Spying is for when you aren't sure.
/r/TheRedPill17/04/14 12:01 AM

/r/TheRedPill16/04/14 10:33 PM

One of the big points in the red pill is that people don't change themselves very much as they age(and most don't). Instead, we opt to develop ways to encourage good behaviors and limit negative ones. Younger women are easier to change.

A woman doesn't have to turn ugly by the time she is 30 No but she will soon. If I am going for an LTR, thats a long term investment. A hot 23 year old gets much more time as attractive than a 30 year old. Her life experience isn't going to strengthen your erection, but it will help to create a stronger relationship. A person who has varied experiences is likely to be a better partner than someone who is still relatively new to the world. What do you mean by "experience"? Because studies show th…

If you label her actions as wrong or terrible, while you do the same thing, you're being inconsistent. Morality should be kept out of this sub. Its intended to look at actions and consequences. The poster was saying that this type of woman exists and being fwb with her sucks. Not that she is a terrible person. However, the main difference I would identify versus the red pill is we don't recommend having a girl be an emotional or financial support structure.
/r/TheRedPill16/04/14 09:52 PM

I tend to think of bros as immature red pillers. They naturally understand how the game works, but don't have maturity to fully think their actions through.

It depends on the vacation. When I take a trip with guy friends, its typically something like hunting or fishing. Low probability of hooking up with a girl. Girl vacations tend to involve going to beaches, drinking, dancing, etc. stuff that is conducive to infidelity. If a guy wanted to go to Cancun with a bunch of male friends, I would find that odd too.

Well, it was never up to him whether or not his wife was going to try polyamory. Had he said no, she would have done it on the sly anyway. Possibly, but its also possible the polyamory thing was a shit test. Her husband is clearly a wimp. If he had alphaed up a bit, she may not have done it. I mean, I can see why the wife doesn't find this guy attractive.

One of the fundamental points of PUA is that there are plenty of fish in the sea. If you are good at it, you can expect to pick up a girl reasonably quickly, but you can't expect to pick up most girls you meet.

I became a bit happier when I stopped worried about whether what I am doing is racist.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
