In no particular order: Was in a fraternity in college (but said he was “not like the other guys”) Had a lot of women friends (admitted to sleeping with his best friend once) Asked me how I felt about splitting, as in on dates (a resound no, which he accepted) Claimed to be a feminist... I’m always weary of men who say this

Update for anyone interested: I blocked him and spent a lovely night at home instead! Thank you for all the responses and validating how I already felt. Learning to trust myself and my decisions is quite the journey. I am truly grateful for this sisterhood supporting me ❤️

He asked me out, we established a time and date but not the place. The night before (less than 24 hrs) he’s trying to establish a place and ask for my input. In my opinion it’s a bit inappropriate to plan for a date this last minute. Not sure if I’m being harsh. Please let me know!

Yes all very true. I was twenty when I first lost my virginity to a man, and he stealthed me. For those unaware, he took the condom off when I wasn’t looking. Incredibly traumatic.

I can confirm this is true. My pick-me friend told me she had to schedule her lvm bf’s vaccine appointment because she knows he wouldn’t do it on her own. At the time, I just told her not to mother him but looking back really should have pressed her on why she would want to be with a man who can’t be bothered to take responsibility for his life like that.

YES 1000% agreed. Was talking to a guy online for a couple weeks, we texted, FaceTimed, etc. He pulled a bait and switch, initially saying we would get sushi then suggesting coffee once we settled on a date 🚩. I reluctantly agreed, but at that point was losing interest. The NIGHT BEFORE we were suppose to meet up, he asked me where we should meet in the agreed upon area 🚩I said you tell me. Homeboy really said “idk any coffee shops in (area).” 🚩🚩🚩I cancelled right then and there, not worth my ti…

I broke off a friendship of 7 years because she couldn’t be happy for me when I got a promotion, and when I mentioned how her lack of enthusiasm hurt my feelings she yelled at me and hung up. I let go of that friendship immediately, because that was unacceptable. We didn’t speak for 2 years and she reached out to apologize. She’s now back in my life because she genuinely meant her apology and has leveled up in all aspects of her life. If I hadn’t dropped her as a friend, she would have continued…

Wow, you just reminded me of my own dick pic experience long forgotten! To make a long story short: I rejected this guy in my class, and his form of “revenge” was to have a bunch of men from Omegle send me dick pictures. They all knew my name too. It was a harrowing experience to have 40+ strangers who knew my name and number sending me their penises.

The stereotypes for women (talk a lot, bad at driving, emotional) are actually true for MEN. Women would get paid more if their pay was about how well they do their jobs. Basically, what society says is “wrong” with women is really what’s “wrong” with men. And women do not get credit for what we are good at.

Imagine spending time looking through a strangers reddit history with the sole purpose of finding some ammunition to intentionally hurt their feelings. Simply because they belong to the only women-only subreddit dedicated to valuing yourself and creating boundaries. Imagine how much hate they harbor in their soul to do that shit. And we’re the misandrists? Ok. PS - not like it really needs to be said, but losing your hair has nothing to do with whether or not you deserve love and happiness. Also…

I had a string of UTIs as well, I’m sorry you’re going through that! Incredibly uncomfortable. I’m glad your boyfriend has been supportive. D Mannose is everything! Your guy “friend” had absolutely no right to diagnose you as having an STD. Men truly know nothing about how common bladder infections are for women. And to outright say that an STD would make you damaged goods? Absolute asshole. Regardless of his feelings for you, you’re way better off without him.

When I asked my ex to post me on his Facebook, he told me it was immature of me to care about that, I already met his friends so who cares if his friends on social media knew. I cared that his ex (fb friend) knew, but rather than post me he just deactivated his account. And I stayed for another 1.5 years 🤡

That’s incredibly scary, to be followed by a car three times. I’m glad you spoke up and scared them off. The audacity of men astounds me. I was walking around my neighborhood about a month ago when a man at a stop light makes a big point to stare at me, and say just loud enough that I can hear, “I want to be balls deep in that a.” I immediately whip around and tell him to F* OFF (he sped off so fast like the coward he is). A bunch of people stared at me too but I was fuming. This man was middle …

I love Baggage Reclaim! Been exclusively listening to her podcasts for a couple months now. Much like this subreddit, it has been revolutionary and life changing. You are so right that there needs to be an FDS podcast!! I am definitely interested :)
