That interesting. It's like a post I saw a few days ago on this. I font know why some men think it's so important to male other men aware that women prefer bigger dicks. Like what does it accomplish besides making some men feel bad? What are they trying to accomplish?

"because when the low value men reproduce, this weakens the strength of the community in the long run." I agreed with you up until that point. I always thought such revulsion was a subconscious sexual version of: "The ruling class needs people to be homeless, destitute and suffering, because the fear of homelessness keeps the working class in line. " They don't want to date the omega male but loathe him having any other outlet precisely because they want him to writhe in unsatisfied sexual frust…

I dunno I think going straight to PIV....just seems boring to me. LIke I've seen hentai where there was too much focus on intercourse and I'm like, what a waste. Cause if I like a womans body I dont want to just fuck, I want to play with her body. I wanna feel, grab grope, kiss and lick all over. What good is just fucking a hot woman if you can't do any of that? I guess its just the men get bored faster than the women and want some kind of penile stimulation quick. Also the woman may not like th…

Having sex releases sex chemicals in your brain. Getting horney to sexy images is nowhere near shooting up heroin.

I saw that study. it looks really dubious. Found a comment that was able to find a lot of holes in it. Either way, it doesn't necessitate banning or shaming of the sort of stuff I like to watch. Just admit you've got a problem with men watching stuff while masturbating, violent or no.

"Sex is intended to be a mutually satisfying act of intimacy designed to bring two people closer" Every time I hear this flowery nonsense all I hear is: "Only attractive men deserve to have their deepest drives satisfied in any way"
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/24 08:44 AM

We are capable. But it's not as satisfying in the long run. Why shouldn't we have an enhancement? Women have their toys. It's men who really need something to make them less dependant on relations with women for sexual satisfaction. We don't care for toys, we're visual. Why shouldn't we be allowed some sort of imagery?

This post is about drawn porn. No women are used. It is entirely possible to use visual aids to masturbate without directly contributing to the trafficking abuse and rape of women. Stop using sensationalism and use real arguement why all porn is inherently bad.

Why should I "control myself"? Why should I live a life of grueling asceticism until some woman oh so graciously chooses me as worthy? It's bad enough I have to bust my ass to earn physical sexual access but you want to shame me into doing that just for the same pleasure masturbation to visual stimuli should get me?. The problem is this belief that porn is inherently the "reduction of women to objects". This is merely your interpretation. Go look at my profile I wrote a whole essay on why I think this concept is bunk.

I talked about this in my other post but I will just copypaste here I’m well aware that sex can be something more intimate than just bodies and bodily pleasure. I guess the emphasis there is CAN BE. I’m not denying that you can be attracted to more than just a persons looks and body. I know that sex encounters, especially in reality, often do involve more human connection and intimacy, and is often and act of love. But while I by no means think there is anything wrong or inauthentic or even bori…

Men are going to associate women with sexual release and porn doesn't affect that. The problem is you can't learn to separate men acknowledging women's sexual utility with seeing them as "sex objects" These are two different things.

It doesn't matter if radfems want nothing to do with men or most men. That doesn't mean they don't have a problem with men finding sexual contentment. They still prefer men sexually starved and desperate for female approval. And many radfems just outright hate male sexuality and prefer forced asexuality and repression on men.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/24 06:16 PM

I've always felt that it is an attempt to repress male sexuality as a form of control.

"The pornsick tend to not want to confront the realities of their addiction." This is just bullshit shaming language. Yes people want to masturbate and fantasise a whole whole lot. Yes they are drawn to erotic imagery. And yes, it is very very difficult to stop doing. You know what we used to call that? Having normal powerful biological sex urges. "Porn actors are not displayed as having any value or worth beyond the sex acts depicted, that is the only value that viewers and directors will extract from their existence. " Does something like porn only narrow someone down to their sexuality? That sort of question warrants a "yes and no, depending on what yoyu mean by that". "forgive the forms of objectification that are not straight up assault." Yes. To truly objectify someone, I mean in a real way, a way that is actually philosophically, morally, ethically objectifying, is blatently sociopathic or at least uncaring. I'm tired of people moving the goalposts to cover forms of sexual expressions some people just don't like.

"Religion can provide very real benefits both to the individual and to society so it isn't inherently harmful, but porn produces nothing but rot even if it might feel good to some people in the short-term." I think you are grossly understating the benefits that something like porn can give to people. Sex is one of most powerful drives and sadly many people cannot get it easily. That's not an arguement: "You can't redefine what objectifiation is, theyre objectification because I say so." It is percisely this attitude that provoked me to write a wall of text like this. Both extreme groups hate the notion of easy pleasure. They need people wound up for the "revolution". “When you make love you're using up energy; and afterwards you feel happy and don't give a damn for anything. They can't bear you to feel like that. Imagine being so upset by men watching stuff while masturbating that you'll post entire articles and have entire clubs based around how it is the source of all evil in this world. Imagine being so upset by men watching stuff while masturbating that you incessantly flood social media and forums about how horrible and vile it is.

"If you’re fine with masturbating to someone else’s daughter, sister or mother..." Every once and a while a radfem lets slip that their real issue is they feel personally violated by the notion of a man looking at an image of a woman (not just them) while pleasuring themselves in their privacy.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/24 05:46 PM

"Because we literally don’t care about that and don’t consider it porn 🤦🏻‍♀️" I've read enough anti porn and feminist content to know that many, MANY of them are against any and all sexual depictions, and think it is inherently sexist for men to enjoy any of it. I stated in the intro part that I want to address those people.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/24 05:37 PM

I think men are at least entitled to use an image or representation of women while self pleasuring. When antis bring up entitlement it drives me nuts. Men are not entitled to PHYSICAL access to any INDIVIDUAL woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/24 05:31 PM
1

But a man's pleasure should still be important. That's my issue. Of course porn (that is aimed at men) centers around male pleasure, because it is the visual representation of male desire and fantasies. I dont think antis just want sex to not focus around male pleasure. By vilifying the visual representation of male preferences, desires and fantasies they subconsiously wish to shame and deprioritise male pleasure and what men want out of sex.

I assume when most men enjoy sexy videos they don't imagine themselves looking at another man screw on the sidelines. They live vicariously through the male character.

"it is SUPER hard to tell if coercion or abuse were present or not." Not convinced by the "You can never know" argument. You can say that about everything. How do know that chocolate bar REEEEAAALLY wasnt made by slaves. That fair trade label is after all, just a label. I believe that more or less...like its their subconscious motivation to monopolise power as sexual gatekeepers. That and they just despise male sexuality in general but its easier to project this on "porn"...the visual manifestation of male erotic desire. I would write more about this in another post. Of course the reason they would state is that all porn is bad due to "objectifaction". that is a fallacy i will attempt to debunk in the next post.

"P*rnography is addictive, just as anything that gives you a shot of dopamine is." So then we just....cant do anything fun at all? "P*rn doesn't "relieve" you. It makes even more obsessed with sex." That hasn't been my experience. And from what I observed, many abstinent people don't exactly have a relaxed view of sex. Yes I do think we can see a great change to how porn is made thanks to technology. Although I wouldn't bank on AI. I do think the real "future" is in digital porn "studios" like Virt-A-Mate and Honey Select. Anyone that wants to produce high tech porn should forget AI and invest in making programs like these more user friendly. Perfecting them could make live action porn all but obsolete. The two arguments, on their own, don’t seem to hold much water. They don’t explain what the hell wrong with something like softcore drawings. Now I’ve read enough from radfems to KNOW that such images get the bullet too. And so we come to third reason. The REAL reason why radfems hate all porn. Argument number 3. All sexualized imagry, and the enjoyment thereof, is inherently anti feminist because it reduces women to objects. This argument is hardly ever addressed head on or in good faith, but t…

Arguement 2: Porn shows abusive degrading sex: The second argument is pretty much related to the content. The blatent violence, the “body punishing sex” the degrading words…this sort of thing. Now let me just say, there have been things about porn, things of this nature, that make me uncomfortable, or that I outright hate. That being said, while I, generally speaking, personally do not like seeing women humiliated, or in pain, I’m hesistant to condemn all forms of kink or any form of sadism in p…

Right now I'll adress two of the main anti porn arguements put forth by radfems. The major arguement however, I'll tackle in another post. So I find that radfem arguments against all erotic material can be broken down into three arguments. Two out of three they repeat ad nauseum, whilst the third one is more of the “core” reason they oppose porn, despite the fact that they rarely bring it up, and they seem to avoid any serious debate with regards to its validity. I shall now bring up the other t…

I clearly don’t support human trafficking and there are many forms of porn that disgust me. But I stand firm (pun not intended)on this stance. People should be allowed, legally morally, and socially, to masturbate. And they should be allowed…. legally, morally and socially, to look at (or read, or listen to) what turns them on while they masturbate. I believe strongly that any society or ideology that seeks to ban, condemn, or shame such a simple form of sexual expression cannot call itself rati…

I honestly think there is a different motivation. It's just a form of psychological warfare against men. My theory is women like this know their power as sexual gatekeepers. They know a man's great fear is being seen as sexually repulsive, sexually useless. Women who want to 'get back at men' weaponise this by being more vocal and less polite and restrained about their rejection and repulsion. This isn't entirely new; There are plenty of songs gloating about rejecting men. They're just upping th…

Yes. Actually I can go on and on about this topic. I understand this is not the most pressing issue of our time, but it's something I've taken a keen notice and concern about. Consider the issue of "sexual entitlement". I am not saying sex is a need like food or oxygen. Nor am I saying any man's sexual needs must be fully catered to at all cost. However, on the spectrum of "Need" and "Petty Luxury" I would place it far closer to a need than I suspect many radfem/fds/gycentrists would place it. I…

You have a point. I've always felt that nowadays men are being shamed for their sexuality, and women and gynocentric minded men are relentlessly trying to move the goalposts of what is considered acceptable sexual behaviour to further narrow men's sexual outlets and opportunities. Consider these new mores regarding age gaps. The simple truth is... while men are willing to date within their own age, when it comes to raw physical attraction, most men of ALL ages prefer women when they're in the la…

Then theres the whole issue of "entitlement". They throw around that word a lot. Its as if they think that the reason men are more likely to pay for sex, get "addicted" to porn and get more upset when they can only score female friends is from some patriarchial, socially imposed feeling of entitlement to sex. This idea ensures them that if they just shame men enough and beat them enough over the head with the axiom that their urges are unimportant, men will conduct themselves sexually exactly li…

You have the consider that the same people who are mocking Ben Shapiro and cheerleading things like WAP are not necessarily the same people crowing about the male gaze. You can just as easily say the same type of guys who fervently defended sexy women in video games kicked up a fuss when women weren't portrayed sexily enough are the same ones who shame women for Onlyfans and WAP. Let's not neglect the growing anti porn anti masturbation sentiment. I know people would disagree but let me ask: What IS porn? It's the visual manifestation of (usually male) sexual attractions desires, and fantasies. Your feelings of porn are most likely your feelings of what it represents: again, male desires and fantasies themselves. I wouldn't say sex was a "need" like food or oxygen. However, on the spectrum of "need" vs "luxury" I place sex closer to need most people on the more feminist side of politics would. I hate how demanding women have become in terms of marriage (a man must completely rearrange his mind and walk on eggshells because a simple "babe can you clean the rest of the kitchen I'll let you know when it's done" is too much "mental load") But when it comes to sex, when it comes to the aspect of a marriage th…

They're not "pretending" to not know how to do things. Their brains work differently. The way they clean the house and assess how and when household chores need to be done are different. And yes, they instinctively do the bare minimum of what they think is required, because maybe they value their spare time more than they do a pristine house all the time. This is not a "man" thing. This is not gendered. It's a "living with a another person" thing.

"Many are involuntarily needing to opt out." It doesnt matter. What matters is the sexual options they DO have and wether or not they choose to take them. That's what matters if the topic is the rise of sexual conservatism and puritanism. One can look at this NoFap trend and see it as just a desperate attempt to obtain real relationships which are becoming harder to obtain. I'm surprised you haven't brought up the sexual conservatism that's starting to crop up around males. I mean it's REALLY gaining traction. I'm actually baffled as f you'd write something like this and not bring up the new male puritanism on THIS MONTH of all months!

This is what pisses me off about some women. Why are you putting words in his mouth. You're taking his legitimate wish and twisting it in the most uncharitable way possible.

I'm pretty certain many women have your view but vice versa.

C'mon I don't know why it's so hard for me to post this on any subreddit. When I see all the shit that people post, mine is hardly controversial. I just want to put forth my opinions and here what people have to say about them. Sub after sub it always gets removed because of some weird technicality! Why is like pulling teeth just to put this out there?!

I know there was no followup but I just finished the third part. I'm planning to post more but I think I posted enough that there's some sense of completion even if I don't post the rest.

I've often felt that this sort of thinking is the driving force behind the growing bad press that pornography is getting and has gotten. A lot of strong fearmongering and shaming language has been used for sexy pictures, and the for the act of masturbating while looking at them. I think its mostly a subconscious psychological thing. If you believe the male sex drive to be this force that needs to be controlled channeled, and transmuted, then porn stands as the very manifestation of everything ab…

So even if I look at ANYTHING while I masturbate I'm harming women regardless of context. Only if you believe that "oBJecTifActiOn" nonsense.

I'm afraid it is you who is suffering from "cognitive dissonance" if you believe men watching ANYTHING that turns them on while masturbating is inextricably and without exception linked to sex trafficking and the torture of women. Even if you dismiss all women who partake in things from burlesque to bikini photoshoots to twerk videos to belly dancing.....you do realise erotic artwork is a thing? Boom: No Women Were Harmed In The Making Of This Porn. Now I don't doubt that you sincerely care abou…

Ok. But when I said "I wish we can discuss..." I didn't mean just specifically with you. I mean a broader conversation. I'm just sick of "objectification" being repeated ad nauseam when the entire concept can be challenged but few do.

Typical radfem response. Can't even address my arguement directly. Resort to ad hominem and of course strawporning, assuming all wankers are a monolith: I dont even like anal sex and choking, genius! Can't you guys step correct when making your case for once? I'm getting straight up bored with reading shit like this.

Sorry, I think this is a cult orchestrated by people with a higher ideological investement in anti porn than they would have you believe. E.g many of them are religious or feminist, or just traditionalist They say porn cured all these ills, but you can see they are targeting sad lonely men who are socially awkward and feel like failures. There IS a correlation between frequent porn use and general life unhappiness. That's because a man who is unable to attract a mate or is having sexual problems…

There's "purchasing women" and "paying for their services". Being able to pay for sexual gratification, or attain it in some other way other than "earn a womans desire or cold shower" is not and should not be intrinsically wrong, depending on what it is.

Well with regards to tinder. Sure maybe fundies and traditionalist would want to clamp down on that. But that is to control female sexuality. Tinder doesn't benefit men sexually as it does women. It allows them to better zero in on the right man they want for a romp. The existence of tinder actually impedes some men from being able to find mates.

"You can’t be pro porn and anti sex trafficking at the same time. " So if some clothes are made in sweatshops we stop wearing clothes? By NO means does erotic imagery or entertainment have to involve trafficking.

I think the desire to control men is more or less subconscious. I think women like to think sexy pictures cause all manner of harm because they are repulsed by porn. And that repulsion is because it represents waht men desire sexually, which is everything they SUBCONSCIOUSLY want to suppress and control. On a deep psychological level, women are aware of their power as sexual gatekeepers and will jealously hold on to that power. After all, it is said that women slut shame more than men.

From what I heard the number of actual sex trafficking victims is hugely overblown, as is mostly used as ammo by antiporners. Any actual sources on the percentage of sex trafficked porn performers?

"Men’s sexuality and men’s needs and desires have ALWAYS reigned supreme, let’s not pretend otherwise." Bull. Fucking. Shit. Society has always has an interest in controlling and yes, to a degree, shaming and demonizing male sexuality. Only difference is it hasn't done so as intensely than as to women. But it was there, no doubt about that. It is this cultural and psychological fear of and desire to control sexuality that is behind this hatred of porn and the grasping at straws to find some …

I wish you would stop using that term. Stop arguing with sex negatives who throw around the word "objectification" with statements like "well its okay cause they choose to objectify themselves." The problem is with the term itself: "Objectification" as used by radfems and other antiporners is a bullshit term used to demonize male sexual attraction. A woman who performs in a porn video has not "objectified" herself any more than if she was cooking or performing a magic trick. I really fucking wis…

"Waah, men are feeling sexual attractions and fantasies!" Being able to enjoy sex, to enjoy women and their bodies at least in a mental, visual way...without being wholly dependant on whether they find me fuckable (for me to have permission to even enjoy women in a mental/visual way let me reiterate) is pretty damn important and I'm not ashamed of that. That doesn't make me a creep or a beast. it makes me a human with perfectly reasonable powerful sexual desires. And it NOT "objectifying"! What …
