I don't mean to be rude, but the statistical tests used in these sorts of studies allow for these sorts of conclusions from such a sample size. They're the same ones used for things like cancer research. By scientific standards, 70 is a perfectly reasonable sample size. There may be other fronts to attack the work on, but sample size is not one. (Source: I have a PhD and have performed studies with human subjects before, and regularly review for several journals).

European men have, in my experience, been far more aggressive with women, get more drunk, and frankly, just seem to take it.
