Hey 31 grad student here. I am busy as fuck and don't get out as much as I'd like, but when I do I make it count. I'll game anywhere, even day game is fine. PM me y'all.

points taken. Thanks for the post. As a rule, i don't do prostitutes but who knows exactly what i fell into here. And of course I condomize. Thankfully I travel around and don't get sucked into any one expat scene (i honestly fucking hate expat scenes), but in cities I have an established presence i don't mess with anyone. I also try to stay clear of large, incestual, gossipy expat scenes as a rule, especially if I think my behavior will follow me outside of that city. Never been to abuja, so ca…

oh god, i'm jealous. I love cape town. Physically, it's the most beautiful setting of any large city i've been to (and i've been to a lot). Culturally, it's basically a great undiscovered european city. I'd love to live there.

if her father studied in the us, her family is almost certainly connected to the political/business elite of her country, meaning she was probably raised somewhat westernly. Nevertheless, there are still going to be some big cultural differences, just not on the same magnitude as if she emigrated to the usa from the slums of monrovia.

true, but the extent to which a man in some cultures here has to 'persist' might be considered rape from a western perspective. But from a local perspective, it was a normal, consensual, courtship.

I've made out with some crazy white Afrikaners in South Africa. There are places in South Africa that are whiter than Russia. I've written some past FRs from more westernized places in Africa. They're pretty pathetic too, but mainly because my game still sucks ass.

You're mostly correct, AIDS is not the same everywhere in Africa. I'm very much guilty of referring to all of Africa as if it was one place. It is very much not. I'm lazy though, and don't feel like typing "the majority of sub-Saharan Africa"

This kind of stuff happens everywhere. Do you have any idea what black american soldiers get in Okinawa? Find a black dude who was stationed there and ask him for stories. Any racially homogenized place is going to have a percentage of men and women who throw themselves at foreigners.

I'd be curious to know what her background is. A lot of Africans, especially those from cites or those with ties to government or NGOs (even familial ties) are very westernized. But yeah, I generally believe that game is pretty universal, although you'll find some little cultural bits that mix it up a bit. However, it doesn't take long gaming in a new place to figure out what those little bits are and incorporate them. I think after a month in a new place, as long as you're putting yourself out …

There's some places in Africa where you have to tell a girl you love her before you kiss her. There's also some places where a woman is supposed to reject a man she's interested in. If he doesn't persist, he's wasn't really interested in the first place.

Statistically, the cab ride to her place is more likely to kill me than HIV contracted from protected sex. Most of the countries in Africa were very slow to act to slow the spread of HIV. And when they finally acknowledged the problem, being underdeveloped and poor made getting those efforts of the ground much more difficult than in most of the world. The other reason AIDS is so high in Africa is explained here. It's a profoundly fascinating read if you're interested in these things. Also, a lot…

This is really inspiring and makes me feel good. I'll be honest, my game is shit. I'm new, I've been trying all sorts of things and flailing about. I've had some success, and some crushing, emotionally rough failure. My latest realization is that I need to focus more on being honest with myself, accepting myself, and being honest with others--the two are very closely linked, I think. Reading your post makes me feel like I'm on the right track. I think I still have a long way to go, and I feel th…

It's really easy to get into a mindset of needing women to validate you. If that's the case with you, and it sounds like it is, start noticing that. Whenever you're talking to a girl, do you feel a desire to get her validation? (For most guys this means trying to impress her) Fantastic advice, thank you. It also plays into the mindfulness meditation I've started practicing.

Thanks for the advice. I already exercise a shit ton. I just ran a marathon. I spend hours a week reading, learning new things (math! exciting!), and I'm a professional aid worker in Africa (which attracts women far less than you'd think, not that I really give a shit what women thought when I chose to do this. But there's something to the irony that weekends at the soup kitchen=attractive and career helping others=less attractive). Oh, and I'm fucking awesome at almost everything I try to do (e…

Thanks for the advice. I know my Dicarlo and I was already up the ladder, well mostly (I guess I skipped the "direct touching of the face/neck", but I was doing the grab-chin-for-kiss thing. But you're right, I should have paid more attention to the ladder. Dude, I already exercise like mad. I ran my first marathon a few weeks ago. I should probably do some more weightlifting however and am considering a change to my workout regimen to less cardio and more weight training.

And someone else, correct me if I am wrong, bit events like this are not part of becoming better. I hope you meant to say "events like this ARE part of becoming better". I think it was something I needed to go through, if for no other reason it's already made me more comfortable with honesty.

Hey. I understand that I need to accept and embrace my inner awesome, but as you probably know, it's not that easy. Any tips for flipping the switch inside? Things I can try or do to help me get out of this negativity. I should also probably add this is my 3rd k-close ever from a bar/club environment, so i'm new at this.

direct day game in a suburban mall. Turns out at some point I had approached someone under 18. I find this out when a mall security guard stops me and immediately summons a real cop who proceeds to run my ID, repeatedly remark loudly about what I was doing, and generally embarass and scare the shit out of me. In some ways, like getting punched in the face, it made me tougher. But still not worth it!

I think you're overly generous of my abilities but thanks. She flaked, btw. I'm 75 percent over it. Still not enough inner game to totally accept it and move on.

I just took her. Might have said 'it's too loud'. Corner wasn't crazy excluded though. I got eye contact and engagement in conversation. I don't remember IOIs I just went with my gut. There was probably some teasing, but I can't remember specifics. She would have been laughing, that's never been a problem for me. There was totally kino, at least some incidental side and hand contact by then. No word. She's been tweeting without acknowledging me having tweeted her directly. I think I'm gonna text…

i'm lilly white, as are all the characters here. AFCrascist was crazy. I kind of just went with the flow, making a point not to disagree with him because, frankly, i love listening to people say stupid shit and i wanted to get a read on HB7. We got along good, i thought he was crazy but he seemed to legitimately enjoy my company. Me and AFCex were cordial, but there was tension. I think he still likes HB7. There's also the possibility they are fuck buddies. I don't think he was thrilled to see m…

I'm curious too. What American cities are good for pickup? Seriously, there have to be places better than others more than population. Boston, for example, has fewer people than Ft. Worth, Texas. But I'd imagine Boston is a far better place for pickup.

Hotel, but sharing a room with people totally NOT COOL. nuff about that. you're right--it never even occurred to me that I could have just taken her...wherever. Frankly, I did a terrible job about bouncing. I should have been bouncing her around for the hell of it.
/r/seduction29/12/11 11:31 AM

yeah, would have loved to bounce her, but had no place to take her. Any tips for getting a girl to bounce you? I probably should have started a conversation about where she lives or whatever.

the number one thing that improves my game is abstaining from pmo. holy shit, when i feel all that sexual energy built up, it's so easy to approach, make eye contact, etc. Maybe abstaining doesn't work for everyone but if totally works for some of us.

you're right, i am doing too much. I need to shut my mouth more. I love being silent and staring at people when i'm not gaming. It's hilarious what comes out of their mouths. When I game I get nervous and start to babble...i need to stop that shit. Thanks

Either works for me. I've done some direct (and direct day) in the past. Since I've gotten back into things I haven't done direct, but I don't really have big problems doing it. But I honestly prefer indirect for all sorts of reasons. But I'll take whatever you're willing to share.
/r/seduction19/12/11 08:58 PM
1

I agree, but it works indirectly. It's not going to get you real interest, but it's going to show you that you can actually create something like interest with a woman. It helps you get your self confidence up to the point where you believe that you're capable of building genuine interest and can take it on for yourself.

My problem is I'm not really sure where to get started even. As soon as I think about being sexual, I freeze up. It's hard to walk when you can't even crawl!
/r/seduction19/12/11 08:51 PM

You have to start with approaches. Approach, approach, approach. Try doing 100 approaches in r/100sets. If you have severe AA, you might want to check out a product called demonic confidence. But if you do this, it's seriously true--don't listen ahead! If you're really terrified of failure, try to do a bunch of approaches where it is your goal to fail. Another way to force approaches is to go out with a buddy, give him 200$ in twenties, and he gives you a twenty every time you do an approach. Yo…

is this the best we've got. There's SO MUCH canned material out there for moving conversation along and demonstrating value...where's the stuff for building sexual tension and giving excuses to touch?

Thanks for the holding hand out bit, I'm stealing it. I don't think I'm ready for the rest yet, but at least I know where I'm heading.
/r/seduction19/12/11 12:47 PM
1

I agree with you 100%, but I've tried stuff like this and I just don't have the self confidence yet to pull it off and it blows up in my face. I need to crawl before I can walk. You, sir, are talking about running. I'm just not there yet. I need to get more comfortable with slightly sexual touch before I can do stuff like this and not freeze up. I'm gonna steal your secret handshake line though, that's more my speed right now.

sarcasm?
/r/seduction19/12/11 12:39 PM

start talking to strangers as early as possible. they don't have to be HBs, they can be dudes, old people, etc. Life is more interesting when you talk to strangers. starting early on strangers not only helps you warm up, but it builds your social circle and provides social proof, both of which can help with more lays.
/r/seduction19/12/11 12:38 PM

you're approaching, you're doing great. There is no learning without failure. Failure is progress. I recommend you go to r/100sets and start a challenge. Open 100 sets and you'll feel way more confident. And try to have fun. This isn't a job, and you'll never see these people again.

Thanks. But even though she looks like a 6 she's got a mentality closer to an 8, at the very least a 7. She's not desperate for male attention by any means.

Good thought. Push/pull is shit I've read about but never tried. It seems to "advanced" for me right now, but I've got nothing to lose.

maybe also flair (albeit 'recovering afc flair') for people who've completed a 100 set challenge?
