not so sure about that...... I recall a post (it was actually posted in these pages several times) of some lady from a third world country....her parents died and an older blue-collar dude worked his a$$ off to support her and pay for her schooling. I'm still searching for a good set of knives....I've looked at japanese, German, etc ... they're all "the best" and I eventually say "eff it" and stick with what I have.
