I posted here a couple of weeks ago talking about an experience with my girlfriend. I finally made the decision to break up. It was long overdue but better late than never. I just couldn't stand her anymore. She constantly reminded me by how much I hurt her with my behavior. She didn't want to do anything sexually with me anymore. I was supposed to "heal her heart". She wanted me to buy shit for her because of feminism. But I'm not her emotional support boyfriend anymore. I don't bend myself to act the way she likes it anymore. I'm not gonna neglect my life and responsibilities for her needs anymore.

She just doesn't bring anything to the table for me. Her degree is going to be useless and she knows it. She wants me to buy stuff for her all the time. She doesn't want to have sex anymore. She admitted to me that there is nothing speaking in favor of us still being together but for our love and her dreams of our common future. But sadly it's nothing more than dreams. There is no perspective. And I'm not going to ruin my life for some delusional dream that ain't going to happen anyways.

The final thing she said to me after I told her I'm breaking up was: "Are you sure you can live happily without me and are you sure you won't regret this decision?" "I can and I won't" was my answer. I lived by myself my entire life, being an only child without many friends. I can't say that I didn't enjoy my time with her. But if things get the way they became in the end, there is no way to continue.

All of this happened yesterday and I feel really hard right now. Because despite all of this bs, I still feel for her, even though it's not much anymore. But I know it was the right decision. A decision that I had to make. And for now I'm going to focus on myself and my needs. I am the person that I have to live with for the rest of my life. Not some woman and not anbody else.
